References for Crossroads Studio

Today was my last shoot of the year at Crossroads, a studio which seems to be becoming a second home. This is a great studio space, compact but with plenty of shooting options, using both flash and natural light. The studio plays host to a wide range of studio days, with some really great models. Richard is always on hand if help is needed with moving furniture and changing backdrops. Plenty of parking, tea and coffee on tap, and an eclectic choice of music.

Would recommend to any one looking for a friendly studio to shoot in.

I have always been going to attend Crossroads Studio for a shoot but never got round to it but when Richard advertised a studio weekend with Irida.S from London it was too good an opportunity to miss.

I should have done it earlier, it was a brilliant shoot so well organised and things went very smoothly, Richard was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble and really knows his stuff, he was on hand to help with setting up backdrops and lighting but was not intrusive and once I was set up he would retire to another room, and would make a cup of tea every hour.

The studio has everything you could need and organises events with top models, highly recommended.

Had another productive shoot at this great studio. As always the studio was very clean and well equipped, and Richard is always available to offer a helping hand when need. Highly recommend shooting there if you haven't already.

Great first shoot, with the amazing Irida S, at Crossroads Studio.

Richard is the perfect host, great pre-shoot comms, always on hand with advice and, most importantly, a brew! The studio itself is well equipped, with a good variety of backdrops and lighting and I would definitely recommend it to all models and photographers! I just wish it was nearer :)

Had my second day shoot at crossroads studio and it was just as lovely as the first time. Richard is very kind and really takes care of you. He is always on hand to help out photographers too which is great. I hope we can actually shoot together soon and I'm sure we will be arranging our next day shoot very soon!

I shot at Crossroads on a studio day. Richard was great as a host, before the session and during. The studio is set up well; it was ready to shoot as soon as I walked in. After introducing the layout and checking I was ok with what was there, Richard left us alone for the session and was on hand to help throughout.

I’d definitely go bac, especially to explore some of the other lighting potential in the second room

Always going above and beyond for me. This truly is a little gem of a studio well worth visiting if you haven’t yet done so. Nestled in the beautiful countryside town of Haworth, crossroads is well equipped, clean, fully stocked with refreshments and boasts private off street parking as well as a fabulous host, Richard, who is always on hand for all your photographic needs. Richard is a lovely guy and will help anyone with anything and has become a solid creative friend of mine who I would highly recommend to anyone in this industry. I have always run small events, but just recently I’ve decided to alter my business model and create them on a much larger scale on the form of beautiful boutique room installations, Richard has very happily taken on board my crazy ideas ready for 2022 and recently I dummy ran my first one on a small scale. It was highly successful and everyone who attended had an amazing time with the helping hand of Richard helping me to run the day, always around to check lighting and make sure everyone always has a brew!

I love working here, and it’s very much my go to studio for a whole list full of reasons…. But why not go and see for your waked just how fantastic this place is!

I had a pleasure work on a recent studio day at Crossroads Studio.

The studio is amazing, it has a lot of different set ups and lighting available. The owner, Richard, is the kindest person you’ll ever meet and has a great personality. He always offers a cup of tea or coffee to everyone on arrival and is always happy to help or assist anyone. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling my best on the day, but Richard was there to support me all day and always made sure I am happy to continue. He will look after anyone and adapt to anyone’s needs. Even though I wasn’t feeling well, it was a great day thanks to Richard and everyone who attended it.

I can highly recommend this studio and Richard and I will look forward to come back in the New Year :)

A wonderful mornings shoot at Crossroads with Paula W and with the help of Richard it jjust went like a dream. Lovely studio with the big wall and the gorgeous natural light big windows. Richard kept the tea coming and I cant wait to be back next week for one of Marie Jean Saxton's events.

Absolutely amazing studio!

Awesome main space! And changing facilities! With extra rooms to shoot in to! Gorgeous props, (the chaise lounge was lush) a whole wardrobe of clothes and accessories!

Extra heating! Variety of snacks and drinks! …. I can go on!

Rich who owns it, is an absolute gent too! Extremely accommodating and a joy to work with!

Would highly recommend for model shoots, brand shoots, and studio days! And actually hoping to get back into the studio myself very soon!!

Had a brilliant afternoon shooting for a brand (alongside other models) with Rich as the photographer.

- Ridiculously well equipped studio with outfits and props

- Cosy with extra heaters

- Full kitchen with snacks and drinks

- Bonus for Rich being lovely and talented too!

Another shoot today at this excellent small studio. Richard had the coffee and the heaters on when we arrived, making for a very pleasant start to the session. We knew that he was on hand should we need any technical advise or help in moving equipment etc.

Gladly recommend Richard and his studio to all.

I attended Angela K Hudson's studio day at Crossroads Studio. I have used Crossroads Studio on several occasions recently for the Studio days which Richard has arranged. He arranged a set up for my portrait shots I wished to shoot of Angela and I am getting used to his new lights so I can adjust the lighting to my choice. He is quite happy to allow regular users to adjust these as necessary. It was a wonderful shoot with Angela who is a great model to work with. As the day was was sunny with soft light I was able to use part of the studio with available light. I have a great set of photographs of Angela. Now comes the job of selecting of the images and making any slight adjustments.

I would recommend anyone to use the studio as the facilities are great.

I attended Crossroads studio for my model studio day and what a delight it was to return.

Rich is very attentive throughout the day check in to see if we have enough refreshments, are happy and have everything we need throughout. The studio itself allows for a diverse range of looks with lots of backdrops, props, outfit looks if you require them and a lovely large changing room for models to put their looks together.

Always a pleasure to return, so much so we already have another one in the planning!

Would 1000% recommend working here!
