About you: 

Are you a model, studio, HMUA, fx, stylist? Are you interested in creating interesting images, blending styles and influences together to develop something new? I'm looking for fellow creatives who want to be part of a team for a shoot and for regular, ongoing collaboration.

What I shoot:

I shoot portraits with bold statements. e.g. block colour clothes, contrasting hair and backgrounds. I comfortably switch between close-up creative makeup/creative portraits and wider, full-length portraits that tell a story. Every shoot has a theme and a shoot plan so that we know what's involved, what we need to bring, what we'll shoot and how we will shoot.

For 2025, I'm concentrating on the following themes:

1. Fantasy - telling stories, mixing fantasy, mythologies and challenging what can be achieved in small spaces without Hollywood budgets. Also shooting out on location, especially around the Peak District.
2. Fantasy fashion - take the above, but shoot it in a fashion manner, most likely resulting in editorial style. I'd expect metals and leather, gems, reflections, strong colours, shadows and shapes. 
3. Video - I'll be getting more into video in 2025, probably combining the above two themes into a trailer, rather than a movie or short.
4. Ongoing projects - I've got a number of projects I'm progressing including one fine art nude - with the emphasis on art, to the point of being heavily influenced by classical painting

Where to shoot:

Studio or on-location. We can make use of any size studio. We'll just set expectations based on what we can achieve in different spaces. For outside locations, think country parks, brickworks, metal, lights. Something interesting for the background that we can juxtapose you against.

Where am I:

I’m based in Chesterfield, between Sheffield and Derby. I’m often in Greater Manchester and would consider travelling to Leeds, Yorkshire, Newcastle, Birmingham or Lincolnshire for the right shoot. You can sometimes catch me in London. Maybe even further afield if the concept is right. I'm thinking of heading to Scotland and the English south coast in 2025, so may look for fellow creatives there as well.

I'm going to start sending model releases in advance and print for signature on the day. Mainly because I want to submit to more art exhibitions.

I’m starting to following more people here on PP. I’ve been missing out on seeing some awesome images, because I was mainly following models, MUAs and designers. Now I’m following more photographers as well.
