References for Crossroads Studio

I've had the pleasure of working at Crossroads studio a number of times over the last few months at Create! events organised by Marie-Jean Saxton.

The studio space offers great flexibility to be creative and nothing is any trouble for Richard to overcome.

Looking forwards to my next return to the studio and can't recommend this place enough to anyone thinking of attending an event or hiring it for their own needs.

i had a shoot with Marie at crossroads studio it was my first time at the studio Richard is amazing guy and studio owner his flash light set up is amazing he is a lovely guy he went out of his way to make me a cup of tea it is amazing studio i will be comeing back to the studio kind regards ian

What a top man Richard is always on hand to give advice and help with lighting. Super clean and warm studio with the kettle always ready to make a great brew. Richad is very knowledge always warm and welcome and great to chat with. I always have a great time when working in his studio even though its like Lancashire V yorkshire but only in a joking way with each other.

Richard was on hand for the 2nd part of a maternity shoot on the yorkshire moores at the weekend to help with the lighting to get some very dramatic shots.

Always a pleasure to see Richard I can highly recommend photographers and models to use his studio. Families who want portraits etc I would highly recomend Richard you wont be disappointed.

I attended Crossroads studio for an event with Moxy Cooper. As always Rich is such a huge help with offering help in all aspects, from setting up the studio to offering us drinks throughout.

Rich is such a lovely gentleman to be around and goes above and beyond to make your vision come true.

Had my first shoot at Crossroads Studio at an event arranged by Morticia Avery. The studio is great and Rich is very accommodating. He was very helpful setting up scenes and lighting and didn't complain at all when I wanted to change things ;)

I'd happily shoot there again. Highly recommended!

Had my first studio day at Crossroads, and it was just fantastic!

The studio is lovely, with a nice spacious dressing room. There are lots of costumes and accessories to use, and a whole array of backgrounds and set extras!

I'd be more than happy to attend Crossroads again, a brilliant place!

Recently had my first shoot at Crossroads for one of Marie's events and had an amazing day. Between Marie and the owner Richard, myself and the others were kept toasty, catered for with beverages (lovely selection of herbal teas!) and provided with lots of lovely backdrops, sets and kit to use. The lighting was fast and responsive, really nice quality kit and there was an abundance of backdrop colours to choose from as well as some lovely natural light.

I will certainly be back when I can next pay a visit that way! A lovely studio and great experience!

Attended a studio day at CrossRoads. Super lovely atmosphere, very friendly and supportive with free flowing coffee and soda, safe and clean changing room, very versatile spaces which were well utilised, had an absolute blast - would love to work there again!

A Shot in the Dark

Shot at Crossroads on a studio day organised by Marie recently and I loved my time there!

It's a well equipped studio and the owner is super respectful, helpful and really nice and friendly, which makes a huge difference!

I felt really at ease the whole time I was there and nothing was too much trouble.

I'm absolutely planning on going back for my own booking :D Brilliant studio, brilliant owner, highly recommend!!

I had an amazing Studio Day at CrossRoads Studio.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the studio owner, shown around and offered a tea.

The owner is very kind, helpful, professional and a passionate photographer.

I felt very comfortable at this studio also, Richard is such a lovely human being and creative! :)

The studio is very spacious, is well equipped and has many shooting possibilities.

Richard is able to assist with lighting set-ups, backdrops and ideas if needed.

The day went very smoothly and all photographers enjoyed shooting together.

I definitely will be back at this great studio and I really look forward to it :).

I had a really enjoyable and productive shoot at Crossroads yesterday. Richard was friendly, helpful with all the lighting and background setting up, and kept the brews coming throughout the shoot. This is becoming my go-to studio due to the space, range of equipment and also the events that Richard is running. A gem of a studio and a welcoming and relaxed place to develop and produce high quality images.

Richard was on hand to help us keep the shoot running along. He is relaxed and calm but quick thinking whenever we required an extra prop. There was such a “closet” of clothes and accessories that we managed to pull together a whole extra look. Richard was more than happy for us to use anything in this “treasure chest”.

At one point my finger started bleeding slightly and Richard was immediately on hand with his first aid kit. He also went above and beyond helping me find an earring that had dropped from me! I hope to be back there at some point!

I was back again at Crossroads and this time it was for an event organised by Marie Jean Creates. As always Richard was very helpful and accommodating to all of the clients and creative team. Brews were always on hand and his knowledge of lighting meant that he could help out massively when he was needed. Would highly recommend this amazing (and warm!) studio :)

As always Richard is a fantastic host and is always great to see him and have a catch up. He does so much work behind the scenes and is always on hand if help is need needed. I can Highly recommend Crossroads Studio. Welcoming, warm, very clean and always a brew ready.

As always Richard has gone above and beyond for me assisting on my Create! Events. He helped me install my set, helped me get it there for a start! We filled an estate car! As always pre coms are spot on and Richard was excellent in keeping our photographers happy the whole weekend with cups of tea, nibbles and any help with lighting. A fantastic host, immaculately clean studio and incredibly hospitable… this is why Crossroads is basically my hub! Versatile and friendly, look no further!

It fantastic little studio and was a total lifesaver, I was let down by another studio, that had double booked and I was able to book the Crossroads Studio at a few hours' notice as an emergency backup. I didn't know what to expect, but we were warmly welcomed by Richard who looked after my model and myself, seeing we had everything we needed and plenty of refreshments. We were both pleasantly surprised for such a small studio it's well provided for in terms of kit and ideal for a wide range of work, especially portraiture. Highly recommended.

Back at Crossroads Studio for an event, this time I hosted a Valentines studio event with Jessica.

It is always a delight to work in the studio with Rich. I brought along many looks to style myself and Jessica throughout the day, along with building a set for us to work with thought the day. This proved to be a success!

This is a wonderful studio to work at and throughout Rich is always at hand to help move things around the studio and help photographers with lighting set ups to get the most out of each set.

I attended a Christmas themed studio day event hosted by Crossroads studio yesterday. The day went by very smoothly with such effort that had gone into adding the finer details, such as fake snow for the floor, Christmas tree, individually wrapped presents... It looked incredible!

Always enjoy working at Crossroads and very much looking forward to our events come 2022!
