References for Crossroads Studio

I had my first visit to Crossroads Studios for my studio day and its a really awesome space! Richard really looks after the people who come through his door making sure they have enough to drink and helping with anything they need. He made sure I was warm enough too which was appreciated. He has some fantastic heaters which warm up the room amazingly! His pre comms are really great too, he kept me informed throughout the whole process of booking me to arriving at the studio. Really impressed with his communication.

The studio itself is a great space with different coloured backdrops and natural light that just shines through the large window. So beautiful especial with the window seat there too. The other room has two large windows in too which again has fantastic natural light just shining through. The model room was warm and had plenty of space for everything I needed. This is a fantastic space and I really can't wait to come back with Marie Jean Taylor in November! Thanks for everything Richard!

Glam and Glow

I had a shoot at Crossroads studio and thoroughly enjoyed it. The studio was clean and tidy and there was a lovely dressing room where I could change and get ready. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone for a shoot. Richard was also very welcoming and made me feel instantly at ease and again I'd highly recommend him to anyone

Today I was booked on a private hire shoot at Crossroads Studio.

I am so glad that the photographer I was working with chose to use the studio as I totally feel at home here and above all it is a really great studio to use.

Richard is very helpful and has the studio in a immaculate condition.

The choices of rooms plus the backdrop and props and all make this a great studio for photographers to hire on a one to one basis. Plus Richard is always on hand to help out when needed. And if not he lets you get on with it although he does make a cracking coffee.

Tidy studio with several different sets, plenty of natural lights and gorgeously high ceilings. More than enough lights, every modifier known to mankind, a seriously powerful wind machine, coffees, teas, cold drinks, help from Rich when needed and peace and quiet to get on with things. Simply brilliant. I have added Crossroads to my list of "go to" studios, and look forward to shooting there again.

Fantastic studio, full of equipment and really clean. I needed to book at short notice and could'nt have had more help if possible. Richard really did put himself out to make things go to plan, and is really helpful once there. Can't recommend enough.

I hosted my first studio day at Crossroads and I have to say what I great day it was! Rich was a complete star helping to promote my day which consequently sold out - very much appreciated :) Rich is very welcoming and a great host, meeting me at the station and ensuring I was fed/ watered and warm enough throughout the duration. The studio is very tidy with superb amenities and great sets. I was extremely impressed with the model changing area and the array of props available. All the photographers that attended were respectful and came full of ideas. Crossroads studio comes very highly recommended and look forward to shooting here once again in the future. Once again thank you for the superb day :)

Have shot at Richards studio a few times now and always have an enjoyable few

hours whenever I do.

Although the studio is small it has lots of equipment and Richard is always happy to set up or move things as needed.

I shot at Bonnie Bellotti's studio day at Crossroads Studio yesterday. I would like to thank Richard for his help in changing his lighting set up to accommodate the shooting I had in mind. Once again I enjoyed the studio day at his studio and I look forward to shooting there again in the future.

This weekend I shot at Crossroads for perhaps the 3rd time. Each time I have more fun and am treated with the same outstanding hospitality and respect!

I don't know what I can that hasn't already been said! But this is certainly one of my favourite studio's and highly recommended if you want any assistance shooting, as well as the option of natural light!

Hired the studio as a photographer and used those long strip lights which are great for full length shots and controlled lighting, high and low key photoghapy easy to achieve, great to be able to setup both rooms and move from one to the other easily. Richard's a great guy and communication is excellent with bookings and during photo shoots.

I think it’s safe to say that half of Richards references are gonna end up being mine because I practically live at Crossroads haha!

I’m always excited to come back. We’ve really pulled our resources together this year and ran studio days, evening workshops and high end styled events. Nothing is too much for Richard and he goes above and beyond for everyone who steps through his door. Always on hand with a brew or five and happy to help with lights where needed.

I’m proud to be attached to this studio as resident model!

Yesterday was my first time attending Crossroads Studio, as makeup artist for a group shoot event with Marie-Jean Taylor.

Richard was a perfect host, good to chat to, on hand all day offering refreshments and making sure everything was running smoothly. The studio itself was great with a lovely little area with good light reserved for the makeup application and dressing. There was a variety of lighting set ups and backdrops, and all the photographers seemed very happy with what was available, Richard even provided a buffet lunch.

I'm already looking forward to my next event at Crossroads at the end of the month and hope there will be many more!

Had a shoot day today at the studio arranged by Rich. The communication beforehand was excellent & I was made to feel completely at ease. The studio itself is fantastic offering a lovely warm & spacious dressing room,stocked up kitchen facilities & 2 studio spaces offering a range of backdrops, props & natural light/windows. I hope to visit the studio again:)

Another great shoot at Richards lovely studio.

I was welcomed back for a group event here for the third time (I must be doing something right) again it was a pleasant and productive evening.

It wa great to meet some photographers I hadn't worked with or met before and some old faces of course.

Richard was once again the perfect host, helping with lighting and offering refreshments.

A really great evening. Highly recommended studio. Excellent results achieved.

Had my first shoot at Crossroads studio today with Ellie Mae. Nice studio with two rooms, good facilities and lots of tea and biscuits. Richard, the studio proprietor was on hand to help with lighting and to make the tea. Already looking to book my next visit.

I had a shoot at Crossroads studio where they were holding studio day, it was my first visit to this particular studio and one that was most productive.

Richard was polite, helpful and available whenever required and helped me with a few shots of me in action :) to support a side project t I am working on. Tea, coffee and biscuits were available throughout.

The studio itself is fairly compact but has a good range of quality lighting and modifiers with good full length backdrops. It was clean and tidy and was just the job for my shoot.

Overall I enjoyed my time at Richard's studio and will return when shooting in the area again.

Attended a brilliantly organised and run event at Crossroads Studio. The studio is well equipped with various lighting set ups, a range of modifiers and backgrounds. The studio space is kept warm and has excellent facilities. Richard was a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced host and made sure everything ran smoothly. I recently had my second visit to Crossroads for a full weekend of events!

A fashion fetish event alongside Marie-Jean Taylor on sat and then a 1-2-1 studio day!

Just as last time, all pre communication with the studio owner Richard was clear, detailed and enthusiastic!

From posters, online promotion, and being a very hospitable host to all models and photographers at the studio, Richard ensures all are made welcome and is always willing to assist!

The studio is always immaculately clean and organised and I honestly cannot fault any of my experiences working there!

I cannot wait to return soon and would highly recommend!!
