I recently had the pleasure of shooting with Mal for the first time and OMG what a thoroughly enjoyable shoot. Pre comms and organisation were faultless. Mal is respectful, professional and easy going. I was equally impressed with Mal’s enthusiasm and approach to photography. He had plenty of creative ideas that were so much fun to shoot with fantastic results. Although the shoot was laid back, we shot plenty of different sets in between chatting! Needless to say I have no hesitation in recommending Mal. Thank you once again and can’t wait to work together in the near future.

After meeting Mal a few months back at Basford Hurst Cottage I was absolutely thrilled when he asked if I would work with him at Shapeshifter Studios!!

All pre comms with Mal were great, he gave me a clear idea of the things he wanted to shoot and gave me plenty of instructions for directions to the studio :) When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and made a cuppa!! Always a bonus!!! We had a great chat and a catch up and discussed some ideas for the sets for the afternoon.

Mal is so relaxed and easy to work with - This was our first shoot but it felt like we'd shot together many times before!! We probably chatted more than we shot ... As is always the case haha!!

Thought out the shoot Mal was very happy to show me the images we were creating and I absolutely loved what I saw!! Mal is very good with his lighting set ups giving us two very different looks for the shoot which is always appreciated!! He even indulged me when I started faffing around the material.... Something that isn't easy to do... Haha!! :P

Anyhow - Would I recommend Mal? Of course a would!!! Full of inspiration and a wicked personality!! Thank you Mal, I look forward to seeing the editing images!!

Had a super great photoshoot with Mal, he’s so professional and laid back and really awesome to be around and work with photographer, and person. Always listening to the ideas and producing stunning images as a result. I cannot recommend him enough to absolutely anyone, with any kind of experience, you will have an incredible experience!

This was my first shoot with Mal at Shapeshifter Studio, and what a fun shoot it was! Pre communications were great, I knew what Mal was looking for and what to bring.

On arrival Mal was very welcoming, we had a coffee and a chat, as I arrived early.

Mal is very knowledgeable in his profession and also great fun to work with, with has such a creative ideas.

Highly recommend shooting with Mal.

I had a great first shoot with Mal at his studio!

Mal responded to my casting call as I was in his area, and precomms to set up the shoot were perfect, I had a good idea on what outfits to bring, and what kind of things he wanted to shoot. Shooting with him was great, the atmosphere was very relaxed, I was able to pose freely, when needed he gave me some useful directions and we also tried different ideas. The back of the camera looked great and can’t wait to see some of the final images. We had a lovely chat while shooting, planning shooting together again in the summer :)

I would definitely recommend him to any model, and looking forward to working with him again!

Had my first shoot with Mal and wow it’s was so much fun!

We spoke for a bit prior to shoot and made sure everything was okay with what was going to be shot that day in terms of style etc! Pre comms were great

Unfortunately due to bad traffic I was actually late this day but Mal was so understanding and waited for me! He was ready and set up before I got there and offered drinks when I arrived! We got on so well he has a friendly and bubbly personality which is great for making any model comfortable and bringing the best out of them!

We not only got some great images but also discussed some amazing ideas he has! It’s very clear to see he’s a very talented photographer with some great ideas accross the board! He certainly knows what he wants to capture!

The entire time I felt very relaxed and had a great time!

Cannot recommend Mal enough!

Very look forward to the next one already when I progress through my diet phase as ideas have already been discussed around ideas and styles for that!

All round a brill day and photographer! Thank you Mal ☺️

2nd shoot with the lovely Mal and as per our first shoot, what a pleasure it was!

Mal has wonderful communication both prior to the shoot and during. the original plan for our shoot had to be altered due to no fault of Mal however he gave me more than enough notice and we quickly planned an alternative which worked beautifully. Mal is always very clear on the kind of styles he likes which makes it so much easier for myself to prepare. He is also happy to try any weird and wonderful ideas that i have on the spot.

As previously mentioned, Mal is incredibly respectful, polite, safe to work with and more so creative. its always a joy to work with Mal and i can not wait for the next couple of shoots we have in mind! i can not recommend him highly enough to all models.

I got so painfully behind on my references from the tail end of 2023 into this year for many various reasons (my life being the main one!) but finally here I am with my cup of herbal tea catching up!! :)

I shot with Mal last month on a Tank Space event organised by Ivory Flame.

We shot a superb mixture of styles in this half day booking and focused the event on being a much smaller group- therefore getting more time to work on ideas and perfect images- which was a great way to work as the tank isn't easy to model in!

It was lovely to finally meet Mal and I really hope we can work together again this year.

Yet another wonderful shoot with Mal today, always so much fun! Mal is clear with what he wants and Isla always open to some creative input from others which often leads to the best results.

Mal is always early and payment is sent promptly, he is a kind individual whom makes everyone in the space feel at ease and ready to create. I would not hesitate to reccomend mal and our next shoot is already in the calendar. Mal would much rather wait until the makeup is perfect then rush me and not have the best results which is always appreciated.

Yet again smashed the shoot with Mal, he’s always onset with time and giving his location in advance which is great.

Had this shoot planned from our first shoot and I’m happy we made it happen. Hopefully we can plan out that shoot you was talking about Mal (bridge) We shall make it happen 😊

Happy that Mal organised the MUA for the body paint so less stress for me, I just turn up get my body painted then rock and rolled.

Highly recommend Mal if you want some brill images.

Always is delightful to work with Mal.

We had a planned shoot in Shapshifter studio in Warrington.

In our few last shoots, we focused and planned on one theme and I think this idea worked very well.

This time Mal offered to have a face paint and rainbow theme. It was very different and unique for me and I enjoyed joining his project.

Looking forward to working with him again and highly recommend him to work with.

Yet another lovely shoot with Mal,this time at the Shapeshifter studios in Warrington. In all honesty, I've lost count on how many times we have worked together, but each shoot has been great, productive and fun.

Mal is a great person to work with, he is very supportive, caring and easy going. He is creative and likes to experiment to achieve various looks/feels, which makes the process a rewarding experience.

As always I can highly recommend Mal to all models and studios, thank you very much and I look forward to working with you again.

The shoot was great! The photographer was super chill and worked at my pace! I work fast! He was really calm and understanding about the levels I work to. It was a fun shoot. Would highly reccomend !!!

Fourth… fifth time working with Mal? Always a pleasure, but this time was my favourite shoot with him to date. We worked out of Shapeshifter Studios in Warrington, which was a beautifully curated little zone I highly recommend to all artists. As usual he was fully set up to shoot his signature style of vivid subjects on a black backdrop. He snapped away and I posed in several outfits/implied. Not only does he create grand results, but he’s especially wonderful company, and we talked the entire time while shooting, connecting over a variety of topics. He is a very interesting person to talk to, understands a lot of life’s complex topics and it was healing to chat, joke and create together. He cares gravely about model’s safety and success, I’d recommend all models to work with him.

Hope we can keep working together regularly, he has been a pillar of my success since I started shooting in UK. Thanks again Mal!

Had another amazing shoot with Mal at the lovely shapeshifter studio. Pre comms were spot on with both of us knowing exactly what we wanted to do.

Mal has such an amazing and creative mind and I love being able to bring his ideas to life whilst also having such a laugh and giggle to go with it. Mal makes sure that your comfortable and well looked after from start to finish, offering refreshments and making sure the studio was warm (always a bonus 👌)

Mal has thrown some crazy and creative ideas at me that im so looking forward to creating in the new year with him.

I was lucky enough to grab some time with Mal working at Shapeshifter Studios.

Pre Comms were great and i had a clear idea of what was expected of me.

Mal has great to work with from the off, very warm and welcoming and had the studio ready to go.

We managed to shoot everything arranged and also have a good chat and plan for future projects together. I got to see a few back of the camera shots and Mal clearly has the talent to back up his ideas.

I look forward to seeing some images and hopefully working together again soon.
