I had a fantastic shoot with Mal at Shapeahifters studio in Warrington.

Mals communication was brilliant all the way through - we had a cold snap so had to keep plans updates and Mal was so considerate as making sure it would all be warm and comfortable.

Mal is a great photographer, and I loved what I saw on the back of the camera.

We shot a good range from fashion to violins, and loved the coloured gels added in to give some variety and mood.

Mal is super easy to work with and a pleasure to chat too through the shoot.

I would highly recommend shooting with Mal and hope to shoot together again in the not too distant future!

I had an amazing creative shoot with Mal in Shapeshifter studio again in Warrington.

We planned this shoot a month earlier. Mal sent me the theme and mood board to give me a clue to prepare the accessories and crafts.

He arrived before me in the studio to make it warm as was a freezing day.

Mal is a professional and well-behaved photographer.

The shoot went very well as always and I'm looking forward to seeing the photos.

Looking forward to working with Mal on a new creative project again and 100% recommend him to work with.

Had my first shoot with mal this week. Really nice guy, friendly and helpful ( picked me up for station and dropped me back off after the shoot)

We got some really cool pictures and brainstormed lots of exciting ideas. Looking forward to shooting again. Would recommend shooting with mal :)

Worked with Mal first time and he was a kind gentlemen, offered me a brew and asking if I wanted some snacks :)

While I was making my journey to his studio, Mal gave me a call just to make sure I don't get lost and was I able to find a parking space, so that was kind and assuring of him.

When I got to the studio he was well prepared, as in he made the changing room warm making sure the model doesn't get cold when they get change so that's a plus for me. :)

During the shoot it was flowing, so we got some good images, which I'm very happy with. Though we was very chatty, talking about different ideas what we can plan in the future etc... we managed to get the task done.

I'm hoping to work with him soon again so hit me up Mal for that shoot we planned on :)

I had to pleasure work with Mal at his Monkey Santuary Studio recently! Absolutely lovely chap. His communication was brilliant leading up to the shoot and he showed me nothing but respect and professionalism. Really nice time working through a bunch of ideas and styling, Mal was chatty and friendly, he varied the lighting of each set for added drama and atmosphere as well as embracing creative suggestions. We had tea and biscuits and I was kept warm by heaters nearby and in the changing room. Great conversation, clearly a very positive, encouraging, considerate person. I'd happily work with him again, many thanks Mal :-)

I had such a wonderful shoot again with Mal! This time, we were shooting in an amazing studio in Warrington, which was incredibly helpful because it's exactly where I live when I'm in the North West area. 🙈 Mal kindly offered to pick me up near my house, but I opted to drive to the location.

The studio was cozy, clean, and exceptionally comfortable, boasting creative backgrounds, numerous cool props, and an array of wigs! 🤩 As always, Mal was very easygoing and fun to work with. We had a great and interesting chat. Mal came up with several fantastic ideas that I was eager to bring to life. Additionally, I was free to suggest my own ideas and choose the outfits.

Mal assisted me in creating my backstage videos, and we captured numerous really great and stylish looks! 😍 We utilized a neon background, smoke, and gels, resulting in photos that are diverse and cool! The outcome is stunning, as always. Working with Mal is always a tremendous pleasure. He's not only a great photographer but also a very warm and caring friend who looks out for me. Thank you for this amazing shoot, and I can’t wait to collaborate with you again! 🤩

Had my first shoot with Mal yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it…he is very easy going and great fun to work with…very professional and an amazing photographer! Loved his ideas and the time flew by! Great conversation felt like I’d known him for years 😊 Would love to work with him again and again! Can’t thank him enough for such a great shoot I was buzzing all the way home!! Highly recommend 💯 to any model you will not be disappointed! X

Had my second shoot today Mal. Again, an absolute pleasure! We did a body paint themed shoot attended by Mal's MUA. The shoot flowed really nice and smoothly. I actually ran a little bit late due to roadworks on the M62 but Mal was fully understanding not adding any pressure on me to get there. Mal came out of the studio to greet me assisting me to the studio making me a nice cup of coffee. Even though today was more of a practise, we captured some amazing shots!

If you're wantinga relaxed, fun and creative shoot then Mal is your guy!

This was my first and definitely not my last time working with Mal.

I found the studio easy enough to find,Mal helped me with my belongings and provided hot drinks and snacks throughout.

Mal is a great guy to work with, he is professional, friendly and full of ideas which we will look to work on in the near future.

Mal provided props, lots of different lighting and showed me the images as taking them, we got some great shots.

I'm looking forward to working Mal again very soon and 100% recommend to anyone who hast yet shot with Mal to do so.

I had a fantastic shoot with Mal. Highly recommended.

This was my first time meeting and working with Mal. Mal’s communication right from the start was exemplary. He expressed clear ideas and explained the location with directions well. On the day, Mal greeted me at the entrance to show me up to the studio. We started with a cuppa and a chat as we worked out where to start. And then boy did we natter. We were shooting and talking throughout, shooting at a relaxed pace and our conversations flowed beautifully. Mal is thoughtful, considerate and helpful, a great person to know and to shoot with. We took breaks and worked productively. He provided props and outfits as well as including my clothes and let me freestyle with poses. I have no hesitation in recommending Mal to others and I would be delighted to work with him again.

My first shoot today with Mal. He made me feel super comfortable. Very polite and was very attentive and accommodating to my needs and allowed me to take my time getting dressed and having breaks to warm up etc and was full off conversation which made it easier to work as no awkward moments and felt very casual. I really enjoyed working with him today and would be pleasured to do it again!!

Also, Mal was super understanding about my train being cancelled which caused us a delay, however, was still on time to pick me up from the station and ensured I got back safe.

A proper professional and a credit to work with!

It was absolutely amazing, working with Mal today! Not only is he incredibly humble and kind he knows exactly what he wants from the photo shoot prior and gives you plenty of information 🥰 we have already discussed about future Photoshoot, which I am incredibly excited for. He is definitely a pleasure to work with and one of the most polite and accommodating people I have ever worked with. If you have not yet worked with Mal, I highly recommend that you do so. He always looks after models as well and make sure that you message him when you get home safely. Very kind photographer and incredibly good at what he does!

I had another fantastic shoot with Mal but this time in Shapeshifter studio in Wartington.

Also, we tried continuous light instead of speed light this time.

Mal made the plan before the shoot and sent me theme colours also gave a clue about the makeup style. He ordered the accessories himself and brought to our shoot too.

Very nice and enjoyable shoot and looking forward to see the images and working together again.

Had my first shoot today with Mal. What can I say? Outstanding! Mal is a pleasure to work with and probably the most patient, polite and accommodating photographer. He really does have the models best interest and needs at heart. Mal worked extremely hard to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed throughout the shoot.

Mal is an extremely professional photographer and knows the industry very well. Mal is also a great coach and gives good direction on poses throughout the session. From the beginning of contact Mal was lovely and polite and clear with what he wanted to achieve throughout the shoot.

This was my first time working with Mal within his studio. Mal was very calm, friendly and a true gentleman with warming energy and a professional creative mind!

We got along very well, chatting away throughout our variety of styled sets and he even let me hug up to the heater between sets to keep toasty.

First time shooting with Mal and hopefully it won't be the last! I had the joy of shooting with Mal at his studio and what a pleasure it was. I had a couple of issues regarding travel due to a recent storm flooding many train stations but i managed and Mal was very understanding. Mal was kind enough to pick me up at the destination where i was arriving and kept me fuelled with the very necessary coffee, we had a natter then got started.

We had a quick discussion of what kind of shots and looks we can do for the day and got to work. Mal is a fantastic person to talk too and work with! his sheer love and passion for what he does is very motivating. He is very clear on the outcome that he is looking for but allows me to approach that in my own way, giving direction as and when it was needed. i felt very safe, comfortable and relaxed with him which always makes for better shots. Mal was also happy to teach me about lighting whenever i had questions there which is always very helpful.

Mal is definitely someone i can see myself working with many times again in the future and someone i can highly recommend to any model. Thank you for such an amazing shoot and i can't wait to work together again soon,

For our recent shoot, Mal met me near his fantastic new studio, where he kindly assisted with my heavy bag and introduced me to the new location. Working with Mal is always enjoyable and stress-free. He never rushes me, allowing me to pose freely, and he creates perfect lighting for outstanding photos. This time, he even had a couple of fantastic outfits for me to try, which added to the fun.

Mal's photography is truly exceptional, and he has even managed to secure a couple of publications, which made me incredibly proud! 🤩

I'm immensely grateful for the great shoot and all the support he provides. I eagerly look forward to our next meeting!

My first shoot with Mal and it was a pleasure!

Firstly the pre shoot comms and organisation was so easy, I didn’t need to ask for clarity or questions as he covers all bases. I

Shoot day! I was running behind planned schedule as traffic delays weren’t on my side and he reassured me not to rush and to arrive safe however long it took so I was less flustered. Upon arrival this was very much the case ensuring I was okay and was so laid back and warming.

We got on great, he made me feel comfortable and we could flow freely during the shoot with outfits clearly selected from one set to the other annd sets being be organised made it completely fly by. That at that we could talk for hours! He’s such a lovely man and I’m looking forward to seeing the final results!

Spire Photography Studio and Events

Met Mal for the first time on our recent horse and ballgown event. He was a pleasure to work with- he was super friendly, professional and creative. Worked well in the group and created such a lovely, chilled atmosphere when working with the horse and model. Thank you Mal! We hope to see you again soon x
