Shot with Mal for the first time today and would highly recommend him to anybody. Communication prior to the shoot was great. On arrival I got a little lost and Mal was kind enough to stay on the phone and direct me and also to wait outside and save me a parking space which was extremely thoughtful :).

The shoot was really really relaxed and I can’t wait to see the images we produced! Really enjoyed the shoot and can’t wait to do another one :).

I had an absolutely lovely shoot with Mal last week at Darwen studio. Mal had approached me for a Jack Vattriano style shoot, during pre-communication, Mal was great at expressing what he wanted to shoot so I had plenty of time to prepare for the shoot. Mal is very friendly and a pleasure to work with, at the start of our shoot we sat down and chatted with a cuppa which was a great way to relax into the shoot. Mal has a great eye for photography and direction and our shoot flew by. We for some great shots abs I hope to work with Mal again soon. Highly recommended :)

I had my first photoshoot with Mal today. Pre-communication was great and he picked me up from the train station.

Mal is easy-going, nice, patient and respectful. He also have lots of good advices and ideas. The shoot went very smoothly with few breaks. We allowed us plenty of time before and after the shoot and it was a relaxed environment.

The studio is on top of an antique store which was very charming.

I had a great time shooting with Mal and I hope we will be able to work together soon again.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mal came to Basford Hurst Cottage with his friend Dave to shoot with Jessica Wall on her studio day.

Pre-comms with Mal where easy and everything was discussed thoroughly prior to the shoot. Mal arrived on time, fully prepared to shoot with Jessica.

Mal is so easy to talk to, he's very laid back and clearly has a great eye for photography!! - Mal worked well with Jessica and was always respectful of our location here at Basford.

Mal is welcome back to Basford anytime and I hope to see him (and Dave) again soon!! Thank you so much!! :D

I had a another fantastic shoot with Malcom in a new location in Bluckburn. He picked me up from the train station what is greatly appreciated! He also arranged a lift for me after the group shoot.

I had a really good time and I felt safe, warm and comfortable. I was provided with soft drinks and tea.

100% recommended! :)

I had another great shoot with Malc and Dave in their studio in Darwen! It s always sooo great to work with them, i always feel like meet old friends! Malc was so kind to help me to get to the studio and drived me back me to the train station, cause i had some problems with my car. Also we finished earlier to put me on the train on time🥰

Along the shoot Malc and Dave were worrying about my comfort all the time: they made the studio warm, didn't rush me at all, made some snacks and tea for me. Backgrounds and outfits that they chose was very cool🔥 Shoot with Malc it is always warm atmosphere, great chat and a lot of cool shots! Always a big pleasure to work with you! Thank you🤗

Mal contacted me a while back about a shoot and after exchanging a few messages our schedules finally met and we got to work together, and so happy we did!

From his pre coms he was very friendly with some wonderful ideas. He was so kind to pick me up from the station and we worked at his lovely studio. The shoot was very fun and relaxed and I think we got some nice images.

It was great that I had an opportunity to attend the Albert and Victoria club organized by Mal and Dave! Always a pleasure to work with them. The images I've seen from our last shoots with Mal are great.

The communication with Mal before the shoot was excellent and he explained to me what he expected me to bring (outfits and props) which made my work easier.

As the location was new, they were flexible about anything I asked to make me more comfortable during the shoot.

I enjoyed it and looking forward to working with Mal and this nice group again. Surely recommended.

Another great shoot with Mal but this time in the group shoot event which he organised in Albert & Victoria studio.

He kindly offered me to attend their event as a model and I'm glad I did it.

A positive atmosphere and it was lovely to meet and work with some new photographers and a few who I already worked with them and was nice to have a shoot with them again.

Mal is a very nice, friendly and professional photographer and I enjoyed working with him.

What a pleasure it was to work with Mal. We started off the shoot with a real good chat and a laugh, which always makes for a much better shoot, because you feel so comfortable around them! The studio was wonderful, and he made me feel incredibly at ease and safe. His photography skills are absolutely second to none, and he went out of his way to make sure I got home safely after the shoot as the trains were not running accordingly that night. I cannot recommend Mal enough, I look forward to working with him again in the very near future.

It was delightful to meet and work with Mal in Studio Albert and Victoria in Southport.

Pre-shoot communication was excellent and Mal clarified to me what types of outfits and makeup he preferred which made my work much easier.

Mal was very nice and easygoing to work with and 3 hours shoot went very fast!

Also, the studio was very nice and warm.

I enjoyed having a shoot with Mal and looking forward to work with him again.

Mal organised a 4 hr duo photographer shoot with me at the Albert and Victoria.

His pre comms were clear and concise but also friendly.

He was even kind enough to drive me to Southport from Preston.

On the day of the actual shoot, he was full of ideas and the shoot really bounced along, poses flowed, it was chilled but very productive and allowed me to just do my thing.

Hugely enjoyable, I hope we can do it again :)
