I feel like adding another glowing reference here is just a drop in the ocean, but Carla has one of those faces that the camera loves, her communications were excellent and she had a range of outfits that meant we managed to fill 3 hours with some very different images.

Had another amazing shoot with Carla yesterday, as always she comes prepared with everything we discussed when planning. Pre shoot comms were great and turned up with a great attitude ready to create some amazing images.

She has a great personality and super professional, if you get a chance to work with her I would jump at the chance. We're already planning a further shoot in Dec when she returns to Edinburgh. :-)

Had a great shoot with Carla on Friday at Barrie's Pavilion Studios, I got there barely on time due to traffic and was a bit disorganised but Carla took it in her stride and was extremely professional. She was absolutely great to work with and her experience shone through in every shot.

Female Art Nudes

I shot with Artemis Fauna for the first time, almost a year ago to the day. So when she contacted me to let me know she would be touring in Scotland again, I jumped at the chance to book some time with her. This time it was to be a duo shoot with Carla who was touring at the same time.

I maybe pushed my luck a bit, asking two models to get up very early for a dawn shoot (!), but Carla and Artemis were both game :-)

Unfortunately, the first location was too misty and Carla exhibited plenty of patience whilst I replanned and we moved on to our second location.

As this was my first time working with Carla, I was slightly nervous, having seen how great her portfolio is! I needn't have worried, as Carla is a genuinely lovely person to work with. She is extremely experienced and immediately and easily got into her stride, moving effortlessly from pose to pose, using the light to best advantage.

As this was also my first duo shoot, I let Carla and Artemis "do their thing". They work brilliantly together and I got some great shots :-)

Later on, we moved into the studio. Again, Carla effortlessly posed for shot after shot, knowing how to make the most of the lighting set-up.

I really enjoyed my shoot with Carla, thoroughly recommend her, and hope to work with her again.

I attended Carla's Countryside workshop on Sunday. Along with two other photographers. We got to shoot a number of different styles and locations in and around Carla's home in Wiltshire.

Carla's portfolio speaks for itself so all I can really add is that she was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be looking to work with her again sometime soon.

Spent a day shooting Carla, with two other photographers, in countryside locations near her home, using natural light only. It was great working with her, she constantly looks beautiful and poses so naturally with almost no need for direction. We went through a number of different styles and she looked perfect in each one. Very relaxed and fun to work with, and I'm very pleased with the shots I got. I really hope to work with Carla again.

I have been trying to shoot with Carla for some time and today managed to catch her in a group shoot with a Sixties Theme. As I expected she was superb. Modelling all our requests with ease. A really beautiful model.

Had a most excellent shoot today with Carla working along side Nicky Phillips, what great modelling combination they make working in perfect harmony with excellent choreography and symmetry therefore creating brilliant images. Last Sunday I had a duo shoot at Scarlet Door with two of the loveliest models on PP – Carla Monaco and Charliee.

This was a bit of a first for me and was truly magical.

I have been lucky to have worked previously with Carla and of course, this young lady was as professional and talented as ever.

It was the first time I had a shoot with Charliee who I found very easy to work with and was a good omen for a one to one shoot already in the diary for next week to which I look forward to with immense anticipation.

Shooting with two models can be a bit daunting but Carla and Charliee were both so helpful and just posed naturally the whole time. Superb.

An Eye for Beauty

My 8th shoot with the lovely Carla (shared with Somersetman). We decided to hire some Regency dresses from Bath Theatrical at Frome and shoot in a country house hotel built in the early 1800s. It is a place I often use, and Carla has been there before. She was the first choice for this rather special shoot and fortunately all the plans came together. I could not have made a better selection - Carla was the archetypal Regency young lady - Jane Austen could not have chosen better! [Coincidentally the shoot was on the 200th anniversary of the author's death, and the unveiling of the new £10 banknote - a very special day.] It was a very special shoot for us and one to be savoured. Not only could I take pictures of Carla all day, but she had just the right deportment, face and figure for this particular project. What's not to like? I now have the pleasure of editing - and of looking forward to another booking with Carla later in the year ... Thanks once again, Carla.

Had my first shoot today with Carla at my home studio/apartment. Pre-shoot communications were excellent, on route to the shoot, she regularly informed of her arrival time. Carla arrived on time, her make-up was applied to a very high standard her hair was done to an immaculate standard and she was ready to shoot almost immediately.

Carla is a stunning girl, striking face, beautiful skin and with a well-toned body and she is a great poser she posed without any direction, most of the time she read my mind and changed up the posing before I had a chance to ask. As well as being a very professional, dedicated model, she has a great personality and good sense of humour which ensured we had plenty of laughs and had a very relaxed shoot.

Carla worked very hard to ensure I captured the right images, after the first few test shots, I knew I would not have any trouble creating some fantastic images. Highly recommended for every level of photographer, looking forward to our next shoot.
