I worked with Carla last month as part of a studio day at Pavilion studios.

Working with Carla was a superb experience; not only is she a seriously great person, but she is an absolute pleasure and total professional to work with. I've got some great images from our session and hope to work with her again soon.

Figure and Form

Occasionally life exceeds expectations. We knew that Carla would be a great model and we had been looking forward to working with her for ages. Carla is down to earth and very easy to work with as well as a graceful and super-talented model. We only saw the 'tip of the iceberg' on our first shoot but have lots more ideas for next time and we cannot recommend her highly enough! Thanks Carla.

Another great shoot with Carla. This time we were out and about in the City of Glasgow doing a city, street, fashion shoot. Carla is always good company as well as being a terrific model and we had a lovely time shooting by the river and around some of the iconic buildings and scenery in the city. We started out with lovely soft light which highlighted Carla's natural beauty. She knows what works for the camera and can work with or without direction equally well. We got some super shots.

This was an outdoor shoot and in previous shoots I have also worked with Carla in the studio. I can highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again in the future.

I had the fantastic opportunity of working with Carla last month. I first knew of Carla from a workshop I did a few years back, where I overheard a photographer mentioning in conversation "...you can't get much better at that than Carla Monaco..." and, despite the immediate impact of "would like to shoot with" that recommendation made in my mind, it would be a few years down the line that I'd actually pluck the courage and arrange a shoot.

Communication beforehand was spot on and Carla kept me up to date with travel plans and we coordinated our arrival at the train station as we were travelling.

Shooting Carla at John Barone's studio for the full day turned out to be almost like a 1-to-1 workshop and, in the absence of a portfolio on here, I have to give massive credit to John for guiding me through some of the thinking processes in setting up a set and images - an unexpected, but a much appreciated bonus from the day in my opinion.

There's no need to do the trivial 'turned up on time, came well prepared with makeup and with plenty of wardrobe selection as per brief' yadda yadda - this is Carla Monaco...professionalism in such matters comes naturally and whilst her reputation may have preceded her, Carla definitely lived up to the hype and recommendations.

I found Carla to be very approachable and engaging in the shoot and would give feedback during sets from back of the camera scrutiny. We may have shot a lot of styles and poses that Carla is familiar with ('getting away with it....' lyrics became an in-joke on set!), but it was the first time for me and, the positive feedback from people more experienced in those styles was both reassuring and encouraging that I was coming away very happy with the day's results. Yes it was a paid shoot, but I felt between my ideas, John's guidance on achieving those ideas and Carla's execution of the ideas, it was very much a collaborative team effort in the end.

100% recommended of course and hopefully not the only shoot we have together.

An Eye for Beauty

My fifth shoot with the lovely Carla, and in one of my favourite venues, a nearby country house hotel. The natural light was amazing for Carla's fair skin and we were both thrilled with the images that we could see in the camera. It is always a great delight to work with this charming girl who is just so pretty and natural. The four hours were up all too soon but we were very satisfied at having achieved some great results. Almost my last shoot for this year, but we have agreed to meet up several times in 2017. I can't wait. If you haven't had the Carla experience, you are missing out big time!

Carla is beautiful both inside and outside, very pleasant to be with and a great model, of course! I already knew she was one of the very best models when I got in touch with her for our photoshoot, because I had been told so by many people in the industry.

She is a very versatile model and understood pefectly what I needed from her. Whatever you suggest, she turns into a beautiful pose ... and picture.

Perfect precommunication, punctual and very professional.

I hope to work with her again in the future and I highly recommended her!

I've had the pleasure of photographing some truly outstanding models from PP, including Helen Stephens, Natural Happy Girl and Rachel Summers. Comparisons are odious but I must say Carla is in the top league of photographic models.

First off, she has a good relaxing personality. Even though I've done lots of weddings, which should be more stressful, I find myself getting tense leading up to a model shoot. Carla put me at my ease from the start.

Second, she really knows how to strike lovely poses. A fringe benefit was the graceful way she moved from one pose to another, which was a delight to watch. She needed no direction but on those few occasions where I wanted to try something a little different she was quick to understand and strike the pose.

Earlier this year, someone at a trade told me "If you ever have the opportunity then photograph Carla Monaco." I can only echo his advice. Photographers, as I write this it's six weeks to Christmas. Give yourself a present and book a model shoot with Carla.

I had the pleasure of working with Carla for the first time, last weekend..

Prior to the shoot the pre comms were great and we sorted plans for individual looks for the day..

On the day of the shoot Carla was punctual and got straight down to work..

The actual shoot was great,Carla had an awesome non stop flow of stunning poses full of emotion and unquestionable talent throughout.

We managed six individual looks over the day, which were all of a very high standard, thanks to Carla's skills in make up and styling/modelling.

I will definitely be booking Carla for further shoots in 2017.

I would highly recommend Carla,she is an absolute professional as well as being fun and a lovely person to work with.

I have had the good fortune to work with many great models, Carla is definitely one of them. Her modelling abilities are more than matched by the effort she puts into each image. I was very pleased that I was able to work individually and in the group the following day.

Carla arrived with a great big case of clothes and the attitude to match each outfit. This chameleon Carla then has the most amazing repertoire of poses which she silently morphs between as the shutter gently clicks on numerous moments of visual magic.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Carla and would love to see what images we could create in a different time and place.

Carla is a fantastic model and always fun to work with; she has a huge variety of looks and styles, and endless patience, who never fails to give good images. I had a second shoot with Carla, this time at her home, and it was an absolutely enjoyable experience. You just run out of adjectives in describing Carla, not just in the modelling sense but also in the operation of the lighting set ups etc. If a camera ever loved it would love Carla. I shot Carla at her home yesterday. I had previously shot Carla in a workshop run by Lizzie Bayliss and I was keen to have a chance to shoot her one to one. So, I responded to her recent casting call for a home shoot. It was rather further than I would normally go for a shoot but it was well worth it. Carla was great to work with one one one as well as in the workshop. Her home has some attractive locations and we were lucky that the weather cooperated and we were able to do some work outside.

I strongly recommend her to all photographers out there. I expect that I will be shooting her yet again.

I visited Carla at her home, where we had arranged to do an outdoor shoot. She took me to a nearby lake and some woods, where we were able to create some wonderful shots, messed around with lighting effects and generally had fun.

Obviously she's a beautiful girl and very easy to photograph, but she adds so much more, posing well, taking direction when needed which wasn't often and easing along with the themes I had planned.

Really enjoyed working with her, would love to do so again.

I have been lucky enough to work with this stunning lady a few times now but we had our first 1-2-1 booking last week during my tour.

Carla is just lovely. She is gorgeous, kind and very down to earth- and of course a perfect model! I loved working with her and felt we got on great (and looked pretty damn good together too) ;)

I can't wait to work with Carla again in December and again next year (and hopefully have her join our trips abroad as a regular model too!) :D

I was fortunate enough to shoot Carla at home again. This time with the incredible Artemis Fauna as well. With Carla's incomparable timeless classic beauty, stunning images are assured. Add to that the enormous talent that both possess and this was a really special shoot with a steep learning curve for me. With 2 models of this calibre, it could have been totally daunting but both did everything to make me feel at ease and the day fun.

To cap it all, I was also able to shoot with Carla for a while the following day at Pauls-Studio Manor House event.

Brilliant! I cannot recommend Carla highly enough.

Yesterday's event held at Pipewell Hall and hosted by Carla and Zoi was just splendid. They provided the venue, some beautiful vintage-style designer lingerie/negligees, a top notch make-up artist, together with catering of lunch and refreshment breaks. I had an amazing day ! There was nothing to do apart from turn up and take photographers of two top class models. Thank you Carla & Zoi :)

I had a great shoot with Carla at Pauls Studio in Reading this morning. She was very friendly and easy to work with, needing little direction as she worked through pose after pose. A very productive 2 hours just flew by!
