Fashion With Victoria

You don't often see Victoria Summers doing fashion but she rocks it as the image shows! Victoria is so versatile we managed a range of diverse styles in one day, this is the first image from the set.

Technicals: Using the ambient light which was very soft (see the shadows) and supplemented with a large octabox just camera left. This was to lift the white suit a little, following the guideline that the eye goes to the brightest part of the shot. It also provided eye catchlights and gives some shadow definition to the white suit. 1/60th f5 ISO 200, 24-120 at 52mm, D810.

Post Production: Victoria Summers has great skin and needed little in the way of retouching so I used frequency separation on a low setting and masked it just for the skin areas. Using a mask this way leaves the other areas slightly sharpened which was ideal in this case. I did the usual adjustment to exposure,highlights, etc and added a vignette on the edges to help draw the eye to the model and make her stand out more.
