You might be digging through photos from your previous Christmas-themed photoshoots to share your much-loved gems in all their glory, or perhaps you're busy planning your next photoshoot to create new, fresh festive-themed content for your portfolio.

All kinds of things can make your shoot feel festive; some are obvious (e.g. Christmas trees, Santas, Santa hats, Christmas decorations, tinsel, baubles, stars, etc.), and others are more subtle (e.g. open fires decorated with holly and berries, snow, angels, reindeer, woolly jumpers, lots of sparkle and glitter, etc.).

Photographer Jessica Whitaker has some fantastic photography tutorials on her YouTube channel, including a behind-the-scenes tutorial from a studio Christmas photoshoot with a professional model. 

 

If you're short on props, simply incorporating colours from a 'Christmas palette' (such as red, green, and gold) can be enough to make a photo feel festive.
