About PurplePort model arr.ina.roawr

Irina started shooting at the age of 15. She was surrounded by a community of artists. The people around Irina either wanted to have her as a model for their fashion collections or simply shoot polas and capture the moment.

Later, she was naturally drawn to nude as she grew up in a naturist family, and for her, nudity is something normal.

Slowly but surely, modelling became a full-time job in the nude and commercial industries, and she started travelling around Europe for modelling tours and other jobs.

Since joining our creative community in 2019, Irina has earned many glowing references on PurplePort, and her stunning work has been featured many times in the Front Page Image (FPI) Collection.

FEATURED Interview with PurplePort model arr.ina.roawr

How did you get into modelling?

During high school, I had quite a lot of friends who were designers and photographers. I helped them with their projects strictly out of passion.

When I turned 18, I started shooting nude because this is how I feel most comfortable, and I was just curious to try it and see if it feels as natural to shoot nude as it does to be nude.

What did you do before becoming a model?

Before giving all my time to modelling, I had a day job, and sometimes I was taking photos for different clubs and bars.

Do you have a health or fitness regime?

As many of you may know, the life of a travelling model is hectic. When I'm on the go, I don't have the time, energy, place, or equipment to exercise, and I don't always have time to eat properly.

However, when I'm home between tours, I go to the gym every day for 1-2 hours and swim. I eat at regular hours and am careful with my meals.

How do you prepare for photoshoots?

I try to be in the best mood possible. Prior to the booking, I ask the photographer if he can provide a mood board and if there is anything in particular he'd like me to bring along.

I do my makeup and show up on time and with the props we agreed on.

What style of photoshoot do you enjoy working on the most?

As an artist myself, the best shoots for me are the open ones where we can collaborate, where our energies match, and where we can all bring something to the creative process.

The style is less important when everybody's having a good time and feeding their soul with the process of creating something unique.

What's the most interesting photoshoot you've ever worked on?

What do you most enjoy about being a model?

I love being in front of the camera, having my photos hang in museums, and having them published in magazines.

I love the small achievements along the way. Not only that, but I also love having the liberty to create my own schedule, and I am very fond of being able to visit new cities/countries while meeting new people and creating art.

What would you describe as your main strengths as a model?

My main strength is my face and the many expressions I can display.

What's your absolute favourite photo?

It would be a very hard choice to make - so hard that I prefer not to make it.

Is there anyone in particular who inspires you?

The people in this industry who are kind and supportive - the free spirits.

What advice would you give to a model just starting out?

Be very careful who she's working with. Make at least 1 or 2 model friends (better if more) and always ask for a reference.

Stand her ground and don't let herself be intimidated—it's a small industry, and people can be very mean ( models, photographers, or other creatives you might bump into along the way).
