This was my first time here and I honestly do not know why it took me so long to work with Xenia at Zavod studio.

Pre-comms were incredibly detailed and clear. Clearly Xenia has much experience of running a studio and organising events. I had literally no questions to ask as everything was sent to me in preparation for our shoot.

I sent Xenia a moodboard so she could understand what I was looking to shoot and upon arrival we went through the board again to confirm. Xenia has a great wardrobe and found no difficulty in producing a beautifully striking look which is just what I wanted for the contrast needed for the mono style shoot.

Xenia knows how to get the best out of this studio but is equally accommodating where I wanted to try some set ups of my own.

Xenia is not only super photogenic she is also a beautiful soul who shares a passion for creating art.

The shoot was not at all rushed and refreshments were at hand, a proper cup of Yorkshire tea with biscuits 🙌🏻

Having captured some of my very best images, I would return to this studio in an instant and I’m very pleased to have made the acquaintance of Xenia.

I had the pleasure of working with Xenia on one of Tabitha Boydell's styled events.

Suffice to say, due to the nature of the shoot, no precomms were necessary, however on the day of the shoot, when myselfcand my fellow team of photographers walked into the room, Xenia was pristine and shoot ready with a wonderful personality.

I have long been an avid admirer of this lady for a long time, both as a model and photographer so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her knowing this was going to be one of her last events for a while.

With only an hour to work with her, her showcased why she is considered one of the best currently in the country, posing and flowing effortlessly whilst maintaining connection with the camera.

I shot with Xenia for the very first time yesterday and most definitely wasn't disappointed. Steve (fellow photographer/friend) and I had booked a lighting tutorial with Garry from PGD and Xenia was our model of choice for the session. Pre shoot communications were prompt and helpful

On the day Xenia was on time (despite train delays) and ready to go from the outset having brought a particular outfit I asked for.

She is the consummate professional posing with fluent ease and so very expressive. She needed no direction merely an occasional prompt and knew all the angles to suit the lighting we were trying

Above all Xenia is warm and friendly and great fun to work with. One of life’s nice people

I shot with Xenia today on a Swan Lake group event organised by Erica Mulkern, at PGD Studio, this being the 3rd group type event where I’ve shot Xenia.

Xenia brings something to a shoot that for me is hard to put into words, but its certainly energy, fun, professionalism, hard work, awesome look, brilliant posing……the list could go on.

On the day, Xenia was Black Swan and through multiple different sets, she created fabulous solo and duo photos, working brilliantly alongside Erica and on her own.

She works hard for every photographer, no matter their skill level and ensures we all left with awesome shots. Xenia has a great personality and this shines through in her modelling.

Thank you for a fabulous shoot and I hope we get an opportunity to work together again soon.

Camelot Photography

Xenia was modelling at an event organised by Erica Mulkern which had Swan Lake as its theme. I know Xenia reasonably well and we had shot together previously on a few occasions but this was the first time that I had shot with her as dancer and in my opinion, it was our best shoot yet. Although as a group shoot it wasn’t strictly necessary Xenia and I had discussed the shoot briefly when I was last at her studio. On the day we were told that Xenia was carrying a slight leg injury and wasn’t jumping as a precaution. I’m glad because had she been there would have been a lot of editing given that she is fairly tall. I’m sure her jumps would be fabulous but I think they would need a location with oodles of height.

Xenia is also an accomplished photographer and that shows as she knows when you have pressed the shutter release at the decisive moment.

We had some great lighting set up’s created by Gary of PGD Studio and the resulting images are some of my favourites from 2024. Definite recommendation from me.

Erica arranged the shoot at Pgd studios Leicester.

Xenia was superb, happy to be directed and happy to strike any poses you required.

Professional, superb model and superb to work with.

I came away with some great images in fact literally only a couple of duff ones which were my fault :-)

Xenia was on a shoot organised by Erica Mulkern at PGD Modelling and Photography Studios in Leicester.

It is always a joy to work with Xenia as she has a great sense of humour and we always have lots of laughs throughout our shoots together.

I booked a shoot with Xenia following a recommendation from a friend. Comms with her were professional, organised and comprehensive, and we agreed an afternoon shoot at Zavod while I was on holiday.

Xenia is a rare talent. A kind and generous soul through and through, with a fair dose of wisdom heaped on top! She understands lighting, solves problems along the way and creates and environment that is focused and tingling with excitement.

I planned an abstract shoot with her for my Absurd project, and Xenia delivered with the style of crazed Siren mixed with the grace of a Ballerina. I love it!

Where to start?! I reached out to Xenia a few months ago asking if she’d be open to shooting me at her studio, Zavod and I’m so glad I did! Xenia is by far one of the top models I’ve always idolised since I started in the freelance modelling world so having the opportunity to not only shoot with her but mentored also was an absolute pleasure. I knew I’d learn a lot from one session!

Xenia is not only a talented model but extremely talented photographer. She has a key eye for detail and will go above and beyond to capture that perfect shot. Nothing was too much to ask! She has a lovely personality and a wicked sense of humour which made the shoot so fun! Her talented modelling experience has certainly mirrored in her photography and vice versa!

A fabulous shoot with Xenia! I have wanted to shoot with Xenia for a while and this was my first opportunity with a shoot organised by Tabitha Boydell. Xenia was extremely professional and friendly and even with my modest abilities I managed to get many stunning images! With being a superb photographer herself she understands implicitly the nature of light and and the best way to pose with the light.

It was lovely to work with such a lovely, pleasant person who certainly puts you at ease!

I had an absolutely blast shooting with Xenia yesterday. Managed to create 3 brilliant sets of photos that I can't wait edit. Big thanks to Xenia for her brilliant modelling that is second to none, her brilliant technical knowledge that really elevated this shoot to such a high quality, as well as being a right laugh through out. The New Zavod studio was a perfect work environment for creativity, making it a delight to shoot there with its great lighting equipment and wonderful interior design. All making for another great shoot where I learnt a lot as well as coming a way with a great amount of high quality images while having a wonderful time doing it. If you haven't shot with Xenia your missing out. 10/10 would recommend to anyone experienced or new to photography.

Cheeky Monkey1

Again, I had the pleasure of working with the lovely Xeniamodel, this time doing a 1-2-1 at My Monkey Sanctuary studio in Warrington. Pre shoot comms were perfect (professional, very organised, prompt, and informative). Xenia arrived as planned giving us time to catch up and discuss ideas over a fresh coffee before getting started. The outfits for the session had been prepared earlier but Xenia still came very well prepared with a super selection of accessories etc and that fitted her style and my requests perfectly.

Xenia is genuinely such a lovely person with so much talent, technical knowledge, creativeness, and passion about her craft. It was such a chilled and relaxed shoot, with me taking advantage of Xenias kind offer to share some of her amazing lighting knowledge, exploring various set ups with both flash and continuous light giving us some amazing results.

Throughout the shoot Xenia was full of positive ‘can do’ energy putting 110% effort into every shot. Xenia not only poses effortlessly but she has an amazing eye for the fine details tweaking both her look and the lighting ensuring she brings any look or concept to life with an amazing Wow factor.

If you are lucky enough to work with this fantastic young lady, then you’re in for an amazing shoot. Totally recommended to all levels of photographer, studios and event’s organisers.

I have had yet another shoot with this incredible model yesterday. Every time I shoot with Xenia I always think we can't top this shoot, it has produced amazing results, but this never bears out to be true as they seem to get better and better each time. She is simply amazing at posing and also as a stylist and MUA. Then there is the fact that she is also a highly accomplished photographer herself who has a great understanding of lighting requirements.

On top of these skills she also happens to be a lovely person whi is huge fun to shoot with.

If you haven't worked with this lady before then it's about time you did. We have already booked our next shoot.

I had wanted to work with Xenia for quite a while but the opportunity just never happened until I saw that she was hosting a lighting workshop with Simon Carter at her Zavod Studio.

Always wanting to improve my studio skills and knowledge I signed up for the day long workshop and oh my goodness, it was a fantastic day. I have provided other references for the studio and Simon separately.

Xenia was an absolute joy to work with. Her skills are multi faceted and her modelling / posing was fantastic but also her knowledge of lighting, camera settings, angles to shoot from....I could go on but needless to say, you get a model who is also so knowledgeable on photography and studio lighting, oh, and she is also a super nice person who makes everyone feel at ease.

On the day we covered many lighting set ups, and styles, and Xenia knocked them all out of the park, and while this was primarily a lighting workshop, I came away from the day with so many shots that I would be proud to have in my portfolio.

I mentioned at that start that I had wanted to work with Xenia for a while and the shooting experience not only lived up to what I had hoped but greatly exceeded that, and well worth the travel over from Belfast.

I would love to get the opportunity to work with Xenia again and hope that we can organise something in the future.
