Mark Lloyd Creative

I am a narrative photographer based in Nottingham. Over 35 years I have created poetry, written stories and songs, and in recent years returned to photography as a medium to explore creative projects.

                

My approach is to tell stories through imagery, to look to do something different and see the alternative side, using light and props creatively to explore the possible. As a principle I always look for concepts and themes to provide a framework for ideas within photo shoots, and am constantly thinking of new ideas to explore. There has to be a 'why' as a reason to shoot.

I am interested in portraiture, both location and studio, and anything abstract or quirky.
