A great little studio - my second visit. Once you've found it, it's well equipped, easy to work in and Brian is always on hand to help the shoot run smoothly. It was also tasty warm when we arrived on a chilly morning - something that was especially appreciated by my model!

Brian contacted me regarding a Studio day and I'm so happy he did! How have I not been here before? He was there waiting to let me in and show me around.

The first shoot got cancelled (very valid reason) with full pay so Brian tried his hardest to pull shoots forward.. unfortunately it didn't work out that way but I had a fabulous day shooting regardless!! The studio is spacious and very versatile.

Brian is on hand to help with anything and makes a cracking cuppa tea! Will definitely be returning and will recommend to anyone!!! Thanks again!!

I recently travelled down to The Cottage Studio - a place I used to frequent for model days quite often when I lived a little further south in my earlier modelling years. I hadn't visited in around 8 years! It was lovely to return and catch up with the the owner Brian, see new faces and familiar ones.

Through joint effort we booked up 2.5 days in the studio which was great to make the most of the journey. Lovely summery weather meant we could use the nearby outdoors areas like the forest and the lake, to wonderful effect. Despite the hot temperatures outside, it was nicely cool in the studio, where an array of beautiful lighting and sets were possible, from renaissance inspired to quirky portraits, hollywood fashion, movement shots and dynamic nudes.

I also hosted a remote shoot there, UK to USA, which once connected went really well! Brian was able to provide extra styling from his vast in-house wardrobe. Overall a very successful time, and I enjoyed visiting some lovely sights in the area too! :-)

I have been to this studio many times over the years and Brian is lovely always so helpful and always professional and polite. He is on hand to help when needed. The studio itself is a fantastic space especially for aerial work!

Very nice studio, great set up and amazing props. The location is perfect and straight forward to get to. The owner Brian is very hospitable and accommodating- what ever you need help with ( lighting , camera questions etc) he is always able and goes out of his way. It’s one of those places I wish I had found sooner. Highly recommended and I will be visiting there regularly in the future.

Brian is absolutely brilliant and works really hard to get the lighting incredible...

I am so happy after going away with 2 very happy photographers...The images from the back of the camera look so good...

Brian is very protective of his models and this is just one thing I love about him...

The studio itself is spacious and loads of props...

Another great shoot at Photo 39 this time with Miss Diamond Sparkle. We aimed to get some bodyscape images and with Brian's input and lighting expertise we achieved what we set out to. As ever Brian is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble to help you out to get the lighting set up you want. I would highly recommend the studio

I think this was one of my best days here...

Great atmosphere and the shoots went soooooo well...

Brian worked so hard to help the photographers especially one where he had never done bodyscapes before...Brian continuously helped make the shot better and better each time including holding a reflector for ages...Brian was really determined...I cannot wait to see these shots...

If you are a model, you are always safe with Brian...He will walk you back to your car and make sure your in the car before walking away...

It was sooooooo lovely and warm too....Brian knows I love the heat...

Brian has good taste in music too!

I worked at the cottage studio today for first time. Brian the studio owner was lovely. He collected me from haywards Heath train station as planned and drove me to and from the studio.

He was polite and professional. He was great and was always there to give a helping hand when needed

All the stress was taken off me as Brian kindly organised all of the bookings

The day went swift and smooth and flew by. The studio has a great set up and changing area too.

I would highly recommend the cottage studio to any models travelling towards Sussex. Brian is a good guy. Thumbs up from me. I’m always happy to return to the studio :-)

Brian is an excellent host. I had the pleasure of working in his studio on Monday with the lovely Sooze. He was helpful with lighting and props and always on hand to make the shoot run smoothly. This was my first time shooting at The Cottage Studio and it was wonderful. Brian picked me up/dropped me off to the station which was so kind of him and throughout the day nothing was too much trouble. He is very friendly and has a great sense of humour. The studio is well equipped and warm and the changing room is lovely too. I would highly recommend shooting here and we are already in talks for my return next year :)

I think this was my fourth shoot at photo 39, i have never failed to get good images from a shoot here, but most importantly as i gradually learn studio shooting is how helpful Brian is, when you don't need him he is invisible, when you do, and shout Brian? he suddenly appears and has the skills and experience to sort things out. Just don't get him going on the virtues of |Sony cameras (until that is of course you need to borrow his because yours has had a Brain fade). Think you Brian for saving the day
