I had my first shoot at The Cottage yesterday, and it's a compact versatile space with some interesting architectural features and an impressive array of lighting and modifiers.

Brian is very, very helpful and a lovely guy. He was quite content holding a reflector, removing bits of framing from the mezzanine, setting and re-setting lighting and backdrops, and providing excellent coffee.

The Cottage is a lovely studio to work in and is highly recommended

I had a shoot here and I am really impressed with the professional attitude, Brian the studio owner, has. The studio was tidy and well equipped with lights, modifiers, collection of backgrounds etc. The studio is very spacious too. Accessories like rope and a ring swing both hanging from the ceiling, even a lake and wooded areas makes this place a must go to with endless possibilities.

Brian is most helpful, always at hand if you need a little assistance, while unobtrusive if not needed.

I had a really super shoot at Photo 39 recently. It is without doubt the best studio I have ever worked in. It is very spacious and has a four metre high ceiling providing ample space for rope/silk/aerial work. The studio has superb lighting and is very well equipped with props and an awesome wardrobe. It is also possible to use the mezzanine floor for natural light shots. There is a nice wooded area with a lake nearby for outdoor work.

Brian, the studio owner is a true gentleman and could not be more helpful. An accomplished photographer himself, he is always on hand to assist with setups and provide helpful advice.

A welcome cup of tea/coffee is always on hand.

The studio is convenient to Gatwick Airport for a photographer like myself who lives on the other side of the pond.

I highly recommend Photo 39 to all!

Shot yesterday for the first time at Photo39 and what a pleasant and productive experience it was!

Brian has constructed an adaptable, multi faceted studio with a good sized working space plus many interesting photogenic niches. This includes a working shower and outdoor wooded area.

The studio provides an extremely comfortable working environment with seeming limitless shooting possibilities.

Brian was helpful with setups and lighting as needed but left model and photographer to be creative. Thanks for your assistance Brian.

I highly recommend the studio to all.

Fantastic set up! Had the pleasure of enjoying a shoot with shutterman at Photo39 recently and was really impressed! Great studio, not that I know too much about the technical equipment side but there seemed to be everything! as well as endless props and adaptable spaces. Brian was extremely helpful and courteous - highly recommended!

Without a doubt Photo39 is one of my very favourite studios at which to shoot. Not only is the studio large with a very high ceiling, but it is also extremely well equipped and always very clean.

Brian is most helpful, always at hand if you need a little assistance, while unobtrusive if not needed.

He is clearly a very skilled and experienced photographer, and is able to offer a lot of very helpful advice and hints especially with studio lighting.

I cannot recommend Photo39 highly enough, and will certainly be back to this studio again and again.

Nothing is too much trouble for the ever-present Brian who is simply incredibly helpful and patient

I had a great shoot last week at Photo39 - it was the first studio I worked in after arriving in England for the start of my tour - and left me with a great first impression of the standard of studios in the country.

Photo39 is clean and well equipped with a variety of lighting setups, props, wardrobe, heating, and even has a private dressing area for the models. It is also equipped with aerial silks, which was a treat to play with and made for some great images.

Brian is extremely helpful and attentive, he's there ready to help before you even ask!

I'd love to shoot in the studio again and hopefully have time to arrange a studio day at the end of my UK/Europe tour!

Brain was a nice guy, very helpful to me and the photographer I was shooting for. He drove us around and showed us all the good spots, and even helped by being a human reflector stand! I'd love to go back when it's not so busy at the campsite.

A superb studio, certainly one of my favourites. I've worked at Photo39/The Cottage studio many times over the past 3 years, and it is always a pleasure, and always a highly productive place to shoot in. The facilities are terrific- I love all the space, especially vertical space, which is perfect for dance photography- allows me plenty of freedom of movement for ballet leaps/jetés, and I love also experimenting with the suspension equipment, which has helped me to expand my repertoire of skills. Brian is always considerately at hand to help with the lighting and equipment, and his knowledge and skill combined with the studio's excellence make shooting at Photo39 a consistently great experience. Also- you can't beat Brian's taste in music. :)

Am very much looking forward to working here again in September on both studio days- solo and with Olivia-Rose. :)

Had my 2nd visit to Photo39 yesterday for a shoot with RubieRose. Again had a wonderful time. Great location for outdoor shots and the studio has everything needed for great studio work.

Brian was as helpful as ever and really helped me get the best out of my booking.

Was looking for a studio to book one evening when working away from home and Photo39 looked a good choice from the options available. As things ended up it wasn't just a good choice, it was a great choice.

The studio itself has everything a photographer could want and the outdoor locations available nearby are brilliant.

Can't praise Brian highly enough. Really nice person who knows exactly what he's doing and really helped me out throughout the shoot.

Studio39 is a fantastic studio and really well equipped. I was really impressed with how many different sets you could achieve from the studio. Plenty of beautiful outdoor space to offer aswell. I would love to work there again! :)

I just had my first shoot at The Cottage Studio and Brian was just great. He picked me up and dropped me off to the nearest station. Made lots of tea and left out lots of chocolate (which was all gone by the time I left - sorry!)

The studio was great. Separate area for changing and makeup, Lots of clothes and accessories and Brian was fab helping out with all the lights and backdrops.

Loved working here, very highly recommended.

I absolutely love working at The Cottage Studio. I was planning a weekend but ended up extending and had 3 fully booked studio days. It was absolutely great. As always Brian was very attentive, always helping photographers when needed and constantly serving tea!

It's an absolutely lovely studio and the people are even better. Thank you again Brian, see you again soon. I highly recommend this studio for all models who enjoy studio days and any photographer looking for a location to shoot.

I recently had my second Studio Day at the Cottage Studio. Just like the last time, it was great. Brian was a faultless host as always and helped me advertise to fill my slots for the day.

Unfortunately the last photographer of the day had their car break down and couldn't make it. Fortunately it meant I finally got to work with Brian. We took artnude images and portraits to create my profile on his register. Brian has fantastic light skills and is a wonder to work with.

Can't wait to come back!

What a pleasure it was to work in this well equipped studio, supported by such a skilled, knowledgeable and enthusiastic owner! Brian was able to provide everything I asked for, and was happy to search out props and backgrounds, and re-position and tweak lights for me, throughout the shoot. Being able to shoot down into the main studio area from the mezzanine level gives a whole range of new possibilities that most studios don't offer. All in all, highly recommended!

I recently met Brian at Cottage Studio's and was introduced to his studio. I was amazed as a photographer the level of equipment and props the studio has at its disposal and an incredible understanding how to use them as well.

I had the greatest pleasure of shooting from the studio today with Ivory Flame and Brian helping set up lights and explaining how to best to use them as well. I am so great full to Brian and his studio today as I had one of my best results in a studio I have ever experienced.

I would highly recommend the studio and its facilities to any photographer or model who wants to use great facilities and an individual who is committed to giving the best experience to everyone who turns up to use the studio.

Sunday was my first time working at The Cottage Studio and we hosted a Studio Day. Brian was a great host, always making tea and assisting the photographers with their lighting. He was absolutely lovely and I am definitely looking forward to working there again.

The studio was fantastic to work in. Everything was on wheels making it easy for photographers to use different set ups and adjust them. There was also a large collection of clothes, a dressing room for the model and heaters to keep you warm.
