References for The Apex Studio (Telford)

Had a spectacular first shoot with the lovely Trev today at my home and I was blown away with what we created over the four hours of different shoot styles he is a wonderful person to work with creative talented and a joy to shoot with making the time together a real creative collaboration and I cannot wait to visit the studio and working together more.

I've not done a remote shot before so was a little apprehensive about how it might work, but Trevor at the studio made it straightforward. What worked best was needing to really slow it down and think more about composition, lighting, etc. The end result has been some excellent photos. I'm more than happy recommending Apex Studio (Telford) and I'd certainly recommend trying remote.

First time at Trevor's new Apex studio and what a delightful working space it is, going way beyond building and lighting sets for the recent Fairytale workshop with the awesome Tegan Elizabeth.

Trevor is very friendly and made us feel very welcome, his knowledge of lighting and costume choice to create a flawless session is without question, hence the quality of images produced was so much better than expected.

I shall look forward to future to workshops and shall be returning for personal projects.

I cannot recommend Apex enough, a potential little gem in Telford.

Had another shoot with Trevor today at his new studio (Apex).

What a great little space this is.

Pre comms were great, as always, and he sent me images of the outfits he was matching to each set. We did 3 fairytale looks (sleeping beauty, evil queen and Maid Marian).

The day ran smoothly and you could see the level of detail and work Trevor had put into each set and lighting each set, with gels and beauty dishes.

The images looked great.

I would definitely reccomend Trevors new studio if you’re local to Telford or even further afield and hope to work with him again in the future.

He even had his mum on hand to help with dressing and making headpieces and extra bits of costumes.

This time I did a mixed set of in-person and remotes and it went as smooth as it always would.

The equipment including the remote set-up are faultless

Had a wonderful shoot at The Apex Studio this afternoon. Trevor was very welcoming, and his communications are superb. I asked about the studio location, and it seemed only minutes before I got a response.

It was my first-time working with a studio on my own, Trevor was very helpful and informative.

I was really spoiled for choice as regards different settings. I will be going back there.

An excellent studio set up. Trev was very helpful throughout the shoot - created a great atmosphere for the shoot and happy to rearrange things at speed to help me get the right shot. The studio space has great natural light and lots of different studio lighting options. Highly recommended and a pleasure to work with.

I had an amazing shoot today!

So many styles and choices around the studio! He picked out many outfits that suited me to a T. And his lovely little assistant (mother) made plenty of coffees and helped with outfit bloopers.

Even goes as far as making extra safety features to ensure the model feels protected whether it's with their studio or another photographer in general.

100% recommend and cant wait to shoot again :)

I booked this space to do a portrait shoot. It's a great place with a huge amount of options. Trev is a pleasure to work with, he had already set up the lighting and was on hand for any help (which he did) with changing backdrops or postioning lights. Definitely book again and 100% recommend.

This a great space for a shoot…loads of options for background and a nice private area for changing. Directions were perfect and there was great parking. The guys were so welcoming and it was a pleasure to chat to them as we did the shoot over a couple of hours…very engaging and really know their stuff about what a great space needs! Great gig!

Wow! what can I say my first shoot with Apex studio today it was amazing and so much fun I loved it.

From the moment that I got there, I was made to feel comfortable amazing communication throughout the shoot there was lots of outfits and amazing changing room fully stocked with make up , hair clips you name it they got it.

We got fun and creative and the 4 hour shoot just flew by we did gel lighting and used a few different backdrops.

Trevor is very respectful and talks you through everything.

After only a few hours I have received the photos from the shoot.

Very highly recommended I hope to work with you both again very soon.

My first visit to The Apex Studio today!

Such a lovely day and SO many amazing images taken!

Upon my arrival Trevor immediately put me at ease, I felt very comfortable shooting with him, and the studio itself is a great space too. They have lots of outfits which we used as well as my own clothes, and a changing room fully stocked with makeup too.

Comms were very clear and quick which made my life easy :)

The shoot absolutely flew by, I never felt rushed but we managed to shoot several outfits and used lots of different backdrops, gel lights etc as well as using the natural light in the studio. Trevor is so knowledgeable about light and has a clear vision of each shot making him a joy to work with.

I've only been home a few hours and have already received the unedited shots to choose from as well as a few edited images! The images are some of my absolute favourites ever. Just stunning 😍

Thank you so much Trevor, highly recommended from me and I hope to work with you again soon!

A fabulous studio space with great equipment and a lovely atmosphere.

I was lucky enough to have a shoot with Trev, and to also have a themed studio day at Apex.

There was no detail missed, and so much work has gone in to the studio.

Trev and Mom are also absolutely lovely, and made me feel so welcome.

My first visit to the Apex studio and meeting the owner Trev who was very help full. The studio was larger than I expected from the images online and well equipped. I had booked a 1 to 1 with Ashleigh Rae with sets done by Trev.

The shoot was very relaxed the way I like them Ashleigh and Trev both coming up with new ideas threw the shoot all in all a very enjoyable afternoon my thanks to all involved hope to see you all soon

This was my first visit to this studio, i attended on a bodyscapes & bondage lighting workshop.

Trevor the studio owner is very knowledgeable when it comes to lighting the sets he had arranged for the session. The place even though it is small has a lot of different set ups and possible combinations with backdrops, plenty of lighting available and the studio itself has good natural light too. Very easy to chat with and we got along very well.

He would start each set by taking a photo and showing what he achieved with his settings and showing how changing lights would change the image, he always talked me through power settings on lights so i could achieve the shot i wanted each time in regards to shadows and lighting.

Recommend anyone in the area to attend the studio, i already have a few ideas i want to try out for next time.

I finally got to spend the day at Apex and I loved it so much I'll be back again next month.

This time I was modelling for a lighting workshop the owner was hosting and managed to get some shoot time in with Trev too.

I've always gave Trev my highest recommendation to other models but now I can confidently provide it to other photographers too.

It was fantastic watching him zipping around the lights and also taking time to discuss the light settings, positions and model safety with the group. Truly in his element.

The studio has everything you could need an more, its a great space with a bounty of sets and lights you can move around with ease.

Proximity to the train station is absolutely brilliant too.

Looking forward to working here again

I was booked by Trev, the studio owner, in his new studio, and from entering the studio to leaving, I felt incredibly welcomed by him and his mother, Joan, who were both ever so accommodating. The studio itself is one level on the top floor with all of the necessities (bathroom & separate changing room, both fully equipped with everything you could possibly need!) In the main shooting space, Trev has a wealth of equipment, everything you'd need in a studio. There we lots of small sets available in the main room, from boudoir to boxing, classy and elegant and sci-fi esc. I was kept constantly supplied with cups of tea and biscuits galore (loved having snacks!). The company of Trev and his mother is lovely, they're both fantastic people to work with and I definitely enjoyed myself - I will be sure to return!

This was our first visit to this fabulous new studio and when we arrived we were greeted by the warmth of Trevor and his mother, (who also provided yummy treats!) The studio was lovely and warm when we arrived, with lots of mini sets set up ready for use. Trev has a fantastic array of high quality lighting and equipment for use, as well as a fantastic boudoir set with natural light. Nothing was too much trouble for Trevor, as he happily moved things about for me.

It was a joy to be amongst the first to work in this new studio, and I definitely look forward to returning.

I had an amazing shoot with Apex studio. I arrived Apex studio on time with my boyfriend Carl and we where well received by Trevor and mum who made us feel comfortable throughout our shoot at the studio. Trevor gave us a brief about the studio and showed us around . It was a beautiful tour and this studio offers a variety of shoot styles as you can see in the pictures of his portfolio on here . We were offered tea, coffee, lots of biscuits and chocolates. I was given directions from Trevor and mum who also help us throughout the shoot and also had a variety of selections of outfits to choose from the studio. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we came out with some amazing photos. Thank you Trev and will recommend you to everyone
