References for The Apex Studio (Telford)

I had visited Apex studio in Telford for my first shoot.

I had booked 2 models for 4 hours, which was also my first time working there and shooting with models.

I was also given some assistance by Trevor with the lighting and i got started from there.

For my first time, i did extremely well and got some very good images out of it.

I look forward to visiting there again soon

So lovely to see Trev again after a few years!

Trev was a fab host for my shoot, and the studio has a great variety of backdrops, lots of space and even a bedroom set. And it was warm! Essential as it was snowing outside.

I also shot with Trev as well as another photographer, and as before he came up with some wonderful creative ideas.

I won't leave it so long before the next visit and will 100% be back!!

What a lovely studio Trevor has!

It has plenty of room, props, a changing room, backdrops and lights oh and its warn!

Trevor knows his stuff and is really helpful to!

I had such a fun time last night, we got 3 different sets done with 3 different lighting set ups and im already impressed with what iv seen! :)

I honestly cant recommend the studio enough!

I visited the studio again, another group shoot, a handy studio to use with plenty of options and Trevor is super helpful and works hard to keep everyone happy on these shoots.

The studio is well worth a visit you won't be disappointed.

I love this studio so much, I worked another group shoot/workshop evening and this time it was all about plastic wrap!

Trevor is great at coming up with interesting and quirky ideas for his workshops and is always super easy to work with, he's always efficient and create fab sets to shoot.

We got some really cool images again, recommended as usual :)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Trev contacted me to organise a shoot here at Basford - Despite it being a next day booking Trev was once again really easy to organise everything with and all pre comms were great!!

Trev came to shoot with Evie and they arrived on time with everything they needed for the shoot. Throughout the shoot Trev was completely respectful of our location and was happy to ask if he needed anything. Trev is easy to talk to, polite, friendly and clearly a very talented photographer!!

We would highly reccomend Trev and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you once again Trev! Welcome back anytime!!

Fantastic shoot at The Apex Studio in Telford!!

Trev was an absolute diamond. Pre-comms were clear and precise and I was happy to fill this casting at the last minute to keep this fantastic workshop event going!! Met four fantastic photographers and had myself a great time!!!

Ideas were wonderful, set up was amazing and I cannot wait to go back there and have another amazing shoot at Apex.

Brilliant studio. I have shot here on a few occasions and Trevor is a great host. He has great skills with lighting setup and helps both the models and photographers to achieve their desired image.

Located in Wellington Shropshire it is easy to access from the M54.

I would have no hesitation to recommend Apex Studio.

My third time at this studio for another group shoot, A gel workshop this type of lighting I've always struggled to get any decent results, Trevor makes it look so easy, I must take my hat off to him as every time i've been to the studio nothing has been done twice, where he gets all the different lighting technics and background creativity from beats me, well done on that score.

I had the pleasure of meeting Trevor with my first visit to the studio. I would like firstly to thank him for his hospitality whilst there it was fantastic.

The studio day with Gia_ was incredible with Trevor being on hand to alter lights etc. The shots were perfect and well light. A testament to himself as a lighting tech which cannot be faulted . Can't wait to return back on upcoming events

I organised my first remote shoot studio day ever at the studio recently, after having worked with them on multiple workshops for a while now (so I knew I would be in good hands).

Trevor was so helpful, having done remote shoots before. He set everything up in the studio in preparation and was so efficient in moving sets and lighting around throughout.

He really knows what he's doing when it comes to lighting and was complimented for it by the togs, I'm very happy with how smoothly the day went. We had one in person slot at the end, where Trevor was just as helpful.

Special thanks to Trev's mum for her tea and coffee skills and assistance, as usual too!

Highly recommended studio, I look forward to coming back for a workshop next month :)

This was my third shoot at The Apex Studio. This was a Hollywood lighting workshop with Cheryl Leigh. Studio owner Trev explained in detail how to achieve Hollywood lighting images with some excellent modelling from Cheryl Leigh. Trev was very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.

I used Apex for the first time on Sunday and will definitely be going back again in the future.

Trev was brilliant, the booking comms were great and when we arrived he couldn’t have been more helpful.

Prior to the shoot he was on hand to give advice and guidance, with his knowledge of the art being very evident.

I was very comfortable during our stay and so were my models who all remarked on what an interesting and useful venue it would be for future shoots.

Would recommend the place to anyone looking for a great venue for a shoot.

Booking the studio was a pleasure. Trev was most helpful in arranging the lighting ready for when I arrived. Initially the natural light that I prefer was very dim and Trev had set up a diffuse fill light ready for me. He knew what I wanted in advance as we had exchanged email messages and everything was available and laid out. Consequently it was an easy shoot and he was available to assist with any changes, and made helpful suggestions about changes to backgrounds et cetera during the shoot.

Happy to recommend this studio to anyone.
