Pandora's Curse

Today I got the chance to shoot with Apex on a 1-2-1 shoot and had the best time!

I've been to the studio before but with other photographers, today was my first chance to shoot 1-2-1 directly with Apex!

This was the most comfortable and relaxed shoot, very reassuring and lots of giggles and great guidance!

The studio was set up ready to go with multiple sets ready so we could jump into different scenes with ease! But there was plenty of breaks and cups of tea to give yourself a moment and to discuss ideas, or just have a nice natter!

The sets are amazing quality and the images are next level!

I always have a great time at Apex and today was another amazing experience!

Thank you so much for all your time, guidance and amazing ideas/shoots!

I would absolutely love to shoot at Apex again, especially 1-2-1!

I had my first 1-2-1 shoot (with model Pandora's Curse) at Apex. Steve had set up lights and background as we had discussed when making the booking.

With my arthritic knee and damaged arm from a recent fall I was not in the best shape to be moving and resetting lights that I had never used before.

That was no problem, Steve was there not only moving the lighting around for me but produced a gelled light to give effects for some of the shots and operated a smoke machine to give even more 'special' effects.

The coffee was god as well.

I'll be back.

Another successful Wednesday night workshop with the stunning Naatalielady, tonight's theme was Sheer Delight and once again Trevor has gone the extra mile with the setups and lighting, so creative and original.

The studio has an enormous amount of scenery props, although the studio never looks cluttered, and the props has multiple purposes which makes for a very efficient way of working, this is down to Trevor's ability to manage this great studio.

I have booked onto to every Wednesday night session, knowing I will get great looking images regardless of the model or theme, thanks Trevor and his mum for a great night, highly recommended!!

Visited the studio for the first time, I was greeted by Trevor and was introduced to some regular photographers using the studio on a group shoot, a friendly group of photographers made me welcome.

The studio is well equipped with lights, backgrounds and props everything for beginners to pros to work with, and help is at hand if you need it.

I'll be back at some point.

The amount of thought & planning that Trev puts into his group shoot is a credit to him, I always try to help out when necessary in the hope of learning stuff, & would actually go just to help him,

The lady of the residence (she lives next door) is also an absolute delight to be around

& I can see myself being a regular at apex studios, just because every time is different

Wow!

What a gem of a studio! Today was my first time shooting at The Apex and I cannot recommend enough! Trevor was very welcoming and reassuring, heating was on ready and always a cuppa to hand!

The studio was prepared ready for our shoot and everything was prepped and ready for set changes which were smooth and professionally done!

The props and backdrops, etc were very high quality and Trevor could not have been more supportive (literally) with difficult shots involving balancing on hoops, stools etc, reassurance, health and safety was top priority!

Private changing room with mirrors etc was amazing to have to hand.

I highly recommend and cannot wait to shoot here again!

Really enjoy Trevor's Wednesday night workshops at Apex, I know it's going to be a fun packed evening, great models, unique sets and lighting to die for.

The studio is spotless, comfortable, well organised and the variety of backgrounds and sets is truly remarkable, making this the number one studio of choice. The true test of a good studio is the results you get in camera and I'm finding less time needed to process the images due to level of detail in the original setup and lighting.

100% recommended.

What a pleasure it was to shoot a studio day at the apex studio.

Cuppa’s was on point ☕️,the building was lovely and warm.Trev made sure i was 100% comfortable and the levels we agreed on staying consistent throughout the evening!

Lighting,background and props was all on point.. Trev really thought it through with easy directions .

Definitely recommending the studio and trev his self as a photographer

The Apex Studio (Telford) is a brilliantly ran, well taken care of studio that makes you feel very welcome, comfortable and looked after as a model.

The studio has multiple sets/scenes props, various lighting and backdrops. Everything needed for a photographer and to make for a great shoot for a model.

Highly recommend!

I booked Apex Studio for a three hour Bodyscapes shoot. The studio itself was easy to find and has good parking. It has a good range of interchangeable sets, backdrops, props and all the lighting equipment a photographer will need.

The owner Trev is warm, friendly and was on hand to help with setting up the equipment and moving sets around as required. Nothing is too much trouble if you need help in the studio.

I have attended a few studios now but what I like about Apex is that it feels very warm and inviting to be there, so much so that I have now signed up for a number of studio days organised by the studio with a range of models and themes. I have also already booked the studio for a forthcoming coming shoot and I will be using the studio a lot in the future. Highly recommended.

I've shot at The Apex Studio 3 times now and already had 2 very different, but successful, workshops!

This studio is so versatile! Trev clearly works so hard setting things up and creating sets for his workshops and it shows. He even got a hair stylist on board for the recent Vintage Hollywood workshop, which made all the difference to the final images.

The lighting was spectacular for the setting and theme, really made the images pop and I'm so happy with the outcome.

This workshop ran very smoothly, while still giving me a little break to breath between corsets. Everyone was lovely to work with again and the workshops just have a really friendly and chilled vibe, while being efficient and giving everyone time to get some amazing shots.

This studio is quickly becoming one of my favourites and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. :)

An excellent days shooting at this gem of a studio!! a wide variety of sets were available as well as a great selection of lights and modifiers. Add to that the huge array of props and bits and pieces for models to use and freely flowing tea and coffee who could ask for more! I shall be back!

This was the first shoot for Miss Rosie Lea and I at this brilliant studio. We were made very welcome by Trevor and his mother (who makes a very nice coffee) and we were showed around the studio.

The studio has an exceptional amount of equipment including different sets, lighting, backdrops, furniture, props and clothing. Trevor was on hand during our four hour shoot to help and assist with the lighting and changing the backdrops.

Highly recommended to all photographers and models.

I had the absolute pleasure of working at Apex Studio for the first time on Thursday, when I was booked for a four hour shoot there by Brian Ashley.

When Brian and I arrived we were met with warm cups of coffee and an even warmer welcome. Trev and his mum are, quite simply, fabulous. We had a good chat, and I realised quickly that we were going to get along like a house on fire!

Trev is obviously an expert when it comes to lighting set ups and photography in general. Any help that was needed was there on tap, and there was no request too big or small that wasn’t fulfilled straight away. Saying that, Trev wasn’t at all intrusive and allowed us our space entirely until we requested him.

The studio itself is beautiful, with so many different sets, props and outfits (oh, the outfits!) There are backdrops in any colour you could imagine, and even a beautiful bedroom set with lovely natural light through a large window. It’s a place absolutely bursting with possibilities and we’d have needed much more time there together to even skim the surface of its potential.

I hope to be back at the studio again (and then again and again and again) and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to other models and photographers without hesitation! Thanks so much Trev and Mum x

I was the model for one of the Wednesday night workshop at Apex Studio, Trevor and his mother (lovely lady) were fantastic hosts and set up some amazing lighting for the gels sets . The night went smoothly and I was made at home straight away . I had a fantastic time shooting there and can't wait for the next shoot .

Went for a group shoot at the apex,

Mainly because I’d shot the model once before & I wanted to shoot her again

But the studio was relatively unknown to me, but I was very pleasantly suprised with how it was set up, good option of light & a good few different backdrops & props available, I’ve already booked 2 more group shoots their, as I was so impressed, & I left with more questions than answers, I may have to go back for a bit of lighting tuition & explore the possibilities a bit more without a group there l,

I’d recommend this to many aspiring photographers as you will het help if needed & a lovely

Had a great studio day at Apex this weekend. Trev is so great and helpful! Hes so easy to chat with and really knows his stuff!

Pre comms were easy!

The studio day its self ran like a dream and everything I asked for he was able to help with or supply! The studio is great because it has sets and so much variety! Has all the lighting, furniture, props and even clothing youll need!

Cant recommend it enough!
