References for The Apex Studio (Telford)

Had another remote session at The Apex Studio, assisted by Trevor, the owner. When we started, he had the the background set up, and the lights needed were right there, ready to be dialed in. The remote session went off without a hitch.

When I wanted to do a shot from directly above, he had a boom ready to go to put the camera in the right location--have to love Live View when the camera is well out of reach.

The studio is well equipped, Trevor was extremely helpful; I recommend The Apex Studio highly.

Lots of brilliant ideas shared, loads of different backgrounds and areas to shoot in for an array of styles.

We had so much fun making working together fly by and I'm looking forward to coming back at the end of the month!

Had another brilliant shoot at Apex Studio, this time I was modelling for a shutter drag workshop. I'd never done anything like it before but everyone was so patient and helpful! This was my first shoot at The Apex Studio. This was a group shoot for the Lottii Rose Birthday Bash. Very well organised by studio owner Trev with two different sets and outfits. Trev timed the shoot to give each photographer enough time to shoot the two sets. Very friendly and welcoming studio with relaxed atmosphere between photographers, model and studio staff. Very good choice of model which resulted in some excellent images. I would definitely recommend Apex Studio and will return.

Had another great remote shoot at The Apex Studio last week, and Trevor was an enormous help. In addition to the general setups, we used a variety of lighting sets and smoke, and each worked wonderfully.

Nice sets, great service, and an all-around good guy to work with.

I am most fortunate to shoot (remotely) with the Apex studio and Trevor.

The theme nights are always a joy to attend, the models are incredible.

Trevor is prepared to do anything to adjust the camera position or angle. His professional eye is always there to help get that shot that the viewer will pause and just enjoy.

This was my second time visiting the studio and again it was a weekday group shoot.

The group shoots are very well run, and Trevor the owner checks to make sure your exposure is ok with what you are after and gives advise to improve you're images (a nice little touch).

The studio is well equipped for all your photography needs and well worth a visit.

Trevor arranged for Evie to be the guest model, and wow, what an incredible model Evie is.

Great shots obtained from 4 different outfits and backgrounds/backdrops.

I had my first shoot at apex studio on a workshop titled bound to please event Trevor had organised with evie kedavara

His pre shoot comms were spot on and unfortunately due to drop outs i was the only one who showed..

Trevor is a great photographer & thoroughly professional in his approach and we shared ideas on the lighting and poses which was great and was good at getting the model to pose in a realistic natural way

The whole shoot was superb and relaxed over the few sets we did and i was kept well refreshed with tea thanks to Joan who was trevors assistant for the day.

Thank you Trevor. I shall look forward to shooting with you again real soon cheers stu

Today I had my first shoot as a photographer at Apex, Ive been there a few times as a model and knew it would be the perfect place for expanding my photography.

Trevor is so great, hes super helpful and happy to help with anything at all - including my blondness and being a beginner. He helped and talked me through everything. I even had a histogram lesson ;)

I couldnt recommend this studio more, from a model or photographer perspective - its great!

Had the opportunity to use the space for a recent shoot and man, WHAT A FANTASTIC SPACE!

Great ownership and wide range to play with in terms of shooting space etc

Definitely would recommend for anyone out there to use!

Wednesday! Trevor booked me for a Marilyn Monroe themed studio-evening group-shoot with a lovely bunch of photographers.

I was, as always, blown away by the sets Trevor had gone to great pains to put together. They were absolutely perfect and, along with the outfits and styling, delivered such an authentic feel that I know was appreciated by those in attendance.

Marilyn is one of my favourite looks to shoot and it was so lovely to work alongside someone as dedicated to paying tribute to her accurately as I am. Trevor’s attention to detail is exquisite! And I’m so appreciative of his battles against a certain set of satin sheets to get everything just right 😂

I was made to feel like family at the studio, as always. Trevor and his mum are amongst the friendliest I’ve ever come across in this industry, and after 9 years of modelling that’s no small feat. I was offered many cups of coffee, lots of biscuits, and as much rest between sets as I needed.

All in all the night was a complete success and I’m so, so looking forward to being back for our next themed group shoot. Incase you hadn’t gathered, Apex studio is highly recommended by me! Thanks so much Trevor 😁

I did another workshop at The Apex Studio recently, this time Bubbles!

I absolutely love this studio and the creativity that Trev puts into every workshop concept, he provided 2 cool (glastonbury worthy) outfits for me to wear and let me know what to bring along.

We shot with big and small bubbles and got some fab shots from all the togs that attended!

Lights setups were great and Trev was very helpful with all the participants.

The night ran well with timed slots and no over the shoulder shooting.

I've had a few remote shoots at The Apex Studio, and each time, I've been more than satisfied with how organized and helpful. This most recent was with Ashleigh Rae, and Trevor had some 'bits and bobs' in the studio's collection. that we incorporated into the shoot.

He was able to handle all the lighting requests, tweaks, and tuning that I requested, and dealt with the remote setup quite handily.

Highly recommended.

I have been invited a second time to the studio for a Low Key Workshop. As the previous time everything was organized and well thought. Love how Trev plan his workshop, every time are different. Lights set up are wonderful and Trev is always very helpful with all the participants. I enjoyed so much! I hope to be back again at the studio and 100% recommended !! Thank you for having me!!!

It was my first time at the apex studio and meeting Trevor for the first time and his mum who is such a lovely kind lady ❤️

Trevor was very welcoming, professional and a true gentleman, we chatted over a hot drink before we did our quick shoot

The studio is well kitted out with loads of different props backdrops and lightning

There's a changing room which had different range of makeup hair accessories just an all round lovely place.

Trevor was very helpful with directions when I needed them

I would highly recommend this studio to any model

My second remote shoot, and I was blown away....

..what a night.

It was a my first time of meeting Tokka, a truly remarkable model.

Trevor, had sent me the link the previous evening, before our shoot.

The theme was Erotica and shadows, and it was incredible.

The sets he arranged were perfect. I truly believe that sums up the entire evening. A perfect night and shoot.
