This is the 2nd time I have shot at Shutterworks Studio and il definitely be booking again. Scott the owner is really helpful and welcoming, the photographer was not used to the current set up so Scott helped out and also hung around nearby In case we needed further assistance.

The studio itself is small but well equipped, with a lovely big chesterfield sofa, arm chairs and lots of little props.

I have used Shutterworks three times in the last couple of months. Scott and Jeanie are really helpful prior to the shoot and we’re really accommodating during the last shoot when I had to adjust timings twice. Scott has been on hand to get us started but has been happy to leave us alone to shoot. The studio is a good space as it features a range of backdrops and there are large windows which are good for shooting against. There is plenty of furniture and other props to help create a set. There are other props which are fun to use. The range of lighting is good and allows flexibility in lighting setups. I would use this studio again in the future.

This was my 1st studio shoot and so quite stressful, both in terms of the technical aspects of dealing with a studio shoot, but also in terms of etiquette in dealing with the various people involved.

Scott, the owner met me at the studio and showed immense patience in getting me familiar with the equipment and studio layout / setup etc. He was also incredibly supportive and enthusiastic in making sure my first time was a success.

Thanks to both the studio amenities and Scott's professionalism, I had a massively successful shoot and will definitely be back for more. I cannot recommend Shutterworks Studio enough.

This was my first visit to Shutterworks and I had a great session with Eliza Watson. The studio was well equipped and very usable. It had been laid out as I requested and I arrived early to get the heaters on for art nude. A big thanks to Shutterworks for taking the booking at short notice because although it was a long planned session I had forgotten to make the booking !!! Many thanks and now I know where it is I hope to use the studio again.

Had a great shoot at Shutterworks last week. The studio was tidy, clean and had everything we needed. I love the quirky decor in there (and I visit the shop below the studio far too often for more of this!), it has a whole bunch of cool props, and provides privacy and comfort when changing too.

The studio owner was not going to be there during our shoot, so I appreciated their courtesy message just to let me know this too.

This is my second time working at Shutterworks and I’d absolutely recommend it! Brilliant little studio providing all sorts of creative inspiration.

Had my second shoot at Shutterworks on Saturday. Scott and Jeanie could not be more helpful. They are a lovely smaller studio with plenty of equipment and backgrounds and even props to work with.

They are probably the best value for money studio I know and I will be booking them again for next week

Had my first shoot at shutterworks today.

It's honestly such an amazing studio just the right size that you need not too small not too big has the right amount of equipment.

All in all it is just the perfect studio I would definitely recommend shooting here and can't wait to shoot here again.

Had another epic shoot at Shutterworks today,truly is a great studio. There is an abundance of kit there too from beauty dishes to high power flash heads and even the little details like a hairlight mounted by the main background.Plenty of room for shooting so i can comfortably shoot full length with my 105 or 135 which is useful for how i work. An extra special thanks to Jeanie for sorting me out at short notice, much appreciated. Highly recommend using this studio :-)

Scott & Jeanie run an awesome studio! If you’ve an inclination to vintage then there’s a vintage emporium co-located which is a great browse for a prop or something to bring home too!

Scott has taught me a lot over the years about reading light which has been invaluable to developing my style.

I could not recommend Shutterworks any more highly.

Great arrange of lighting and backdrop set ups and also great if you want to get creative and mix it up with their furniture and props.

I have shot at shutterworks studio many many times, it’s beginning to be my second home aha.

Shutter works studio is very clean, and all organised. And as a model it is lovely to have a dressing area with lovely lights and mirrors.

The studio is always a great place to shoot and I enjoy shooting here.

Highly recommend the studio to everyone!

Had my first shoot in a studio here at Shutterworks last night - a tutorial with Scott and model Sinopa Rin - both made it a very enjoyable and instructive evening. Scott is very friendly and helpful, pointing out the shadow fall as we moved the lights around and as Rin adopted different poses. Also in giving tips for exposure and the effects of lighting on the face which aren't immediately noticeable. I felt I learned a lot and am looking forward to booking the studio again soon to put things into practice. Highly recommended.

Had my first shoot here at Shutterworks studio with Abbie Hills. I was pretty nervous to begin with since this was my first time using a studio since leaving university, which was why I decided to go two days before the shoot to their open day to check it out. I was really impressed when I saw the studio, Excellent facilities and kit to choose from. The owners, Scott and Jeanie are super friendly and helpful people! Scott gave me advice and helped me with any questions that I had.

The shoot itself went great! Fantastic range of materials and props for us to use if we wished. I am planning to do my second shoot here soon!

I had a brilliant first shoot at Shutterworks, booked with Graham T.

The studio had a huge range of props and extra clothes to wear and use, drawers of jewellery and a space which can be seperated off for the changing area.

Scott was absolutely lovely and a great help!

Definitely recommended!

This was my first shoot at Shutterworks Studio, but it certainly won't be my last. I have always been wary of studio shoots due to low confidence, so I decided to book a tuition shoot with Scott in his studio to try and gain a bit more confidence. I certainly got my money's worth!

The new location for the studio is brilliant, there is plenty of space and plenty of free parking.

Scott is a fun and friendly host and was happy to discuss lens choice before we got started and I didn't feel stupid or embarrassed due to my lack of knowledge, like I have when I've spoken to professional photographers in the past. Scott's teaching style is brilliant, he doesn't rush through it, and he doesn't confuse you with numbers and calculations, all you get is clear reasoning and encouragement to try the different setups to see for yourself what works and what doesn't, before Scott explains why it worked, or why it didn't.

Additionally, my original model for the shoot injured herself so my friend jumped in at short notice to help me out. She is not a model, and has never modelled before. Scott gave her advise and encouragement all the way through the shoot and despite how nervous she had been, she ended up really enjoying it.

I realise I've waffled on a bit, but I highly recommend Scott and his studio. If you are an experienced photographer looking for a studio then Shutterworks has everything you will need. If you are a novice, or are just looking for a little advice and guidance then Scott is definitely for you!

Thanks for all of your help and advice today Scott, it was a really worthwhile couple of hours and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
