I had a very easy half day shoot at the recently opened studio in Southampton. Scott was superb to work with helpful and attentative when needed and unobtrusive when not.

I was very excited to shoot at Shutterworks' new location - and wow!

As great as it was before now it's even better...

A much longer shooting area, excellent facilities including a rather nice coffee machine. The props are largely the same which suited my vintage tastes just fine. Car parking is free (doubt many other studios can top that!).

Scott stayed and helped above and beyond and is a marvellous host.

I'm happy to thoroughly recommend!

I did a studio starter shoot with Scott at Shutterworks and it was a great experience and very educational too. The studio was well equipped and Scott is a great mentor. I learned a lot and would recommend this gem. Good luck with the fore-coming move.

I had my second shoot at Shutterworks Studio on Sunday.

This is a great little studio in a convenient location, right in the middle of Southampton. The owners are friendly and helpful and the studio is equipped with everything you could need.

Quality lights, plenty of backdrops and loads of natural light. Highly recommended by me, I know I will use this studio anytime I have a shoot in the area. :)

I had a shoot at Shutterworks this morning and I have to say it is a little gem hidden right in the heart of Southampton.

owner Scott even came to find me when he saw a lost looking bloke wandering up and down the street.

The studio is very well equipped with all the lighting, backdrops etc that you could ever need. There is a spacious changing area for models and plenty of props lying around should you wish to use them. Well equipped, friendly and a reasonable hire charge. What more could you ask for.

I have no hesitation recommending Shutterworks to anyone looking for a studio in Southampton

Had my second shoot at the studio this time for a video. As always studio was clean and tidy plenty of room in the changing room area and in the studio itself. I always recommend this studio for it's space and budget friendly appeal with lovely owner(s)

Had my first shoot at shutterworks yesterday. It's a great little studio in the centre of Southampton. even though I used my own lights and modifiers, there's everything you would need in kit and props and more to cover almost any shoot. There's also a great amount of natural light available. The last thing I liked was the high ceilings giving more possibilities.

Comms preshoot were also fantastic, especially for a short notice booking.

Recommended, and I'm sure I'll be back again soon.

Shutterworks studio is a hidden gem! It has been on my doorstep for years, and I'm glad to have discovered and worked in it recently. It has an eclectic mix of amazing props, all the kit you'd need, high ceilings and if needed an abundance of natural light. It's warm, comfortable, and very private, and helped us produce some really amazing and creative shots. When my photographer had a question, he called and immediately got advice too, which is nice to know :) Thanks Shutterworks!

Lovely little gem of a location in the heart of Southampton. Shutterworks offers both studio and natural light options and the equipment is first class.

It has a bit of a Tardis feel about it; while it's not huge, there always seemed to be another area to explore and always more things to do!

Great little set up here at Shutterworks. Booking and payment was easy and they've got some good equipment and props. Scott was on hand to help with the setup and offer some good advice. Really happy with my first studio shoot here, many thanks Scott and Jeanie

Had the pleasure of shooting at Shutterworks for the first time yesterday. Had a long commute from Plymouth but it was made all the more easier as the pre-shoot communications with Jeanie were excellent. On arrival I was pleased to find the studio was conveniently located in the centre of Southampton, it was easy to find and has secure car parking only a few minutes away. It is very clean, well equipped with lighting, backdrops and props, has lots of natural lighting, fabric, jewllery and a lot more. Jeanie was at hand to show me all the equipment and cold drinks were on offer FOC. Very friendly and professional outfit. Both the model and myself were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Experience a really good studio shoot day in Shutterworks. Jenny was so helpful and both the shooting area and dressing room is so clean and everything is so convenient.I will highly recommend this studio to models and photographers. Hope to shoot again in there.

Great location with parking available.

Next to a row of shops and an Asda.

Perfect sized dressing room equipped with dressing table and mirror along with a selection of props and makeup wipes (which is every models dream... or just mine).

Brilliant size studio with wall length mirror, VERY helpful for guidance with posing and reflection of lighting.

Scott helped me out by allowing me to use his studio at the last minute as another studio I had booked went bust.

The studio was a bit hard to find but once there I was impressed by all the lights and backdrops that were available. He helped me set up the lights and left me to get on with my shoot. Great little studio and very helpful and accommodating person.

Smallish in size, but packs a punch in available sets and equipment!

Shot at Shutterworks Studio with Nicky Phillips. Very warm and friendly welcome from Scott Chalmers. Made sure we had what we needed and left us to it.

Excellent range of modifiers, backdrops and props in the studio. Not large, but definitely big enough for most projects. Easy to find and centrally located. Definitely recommended.
