About Me

I am a hobbyist photographer who has been using an SLR for over twelve years and has been exploring the world of portrait photography and working with models both male and female for the past five years.  I enjoy working with models and it is a skill I have developed with to expand and my portfolio. During this time I have worked on a diverse range of shooting styles.

Shoot Styles and Working with Models

I will work with models on portrait & fashion.  I like collaborating with models to develop a shoot theme.  I use Pinterest to collect shoot ideas and will usually share this with a model in advance to help us both get ideas for the shoot including outfits and props to be used.  I like to have plenty of pre-shoot dialogue to develop ideas for the day.  I enjoy directing models and setting up scenarios to photograph.

Shoot Locations

I will shoot in studios or on location.  I use studios in Hampshire and Dorset including the Art Asylum in Weymouth, Old Bakery in Poole, Shutterworks in Southampton and Fareham Studio.  I shoot on location in Southampton city centre, Poole Old Town and in the New Forest.  I am based in Southampton and can travel easily in Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex to shoot locations.

Commercial

I will work on a Time For (TFP) basis for portraiture and fashion.  At present I am willing to pay for shoots involving a:

• Female Traditional ballerina
• Female gymnast
