I had my second shoot at shutterworks with photographer Neville Thomas, i had a great time! Lots of beautiful props and costumes to choose from as well as great atmosphere and nice little changing room! :) i would definitely recommend.

Shutterworks studios its a fantastic and very versatile location only 7 minutes far from Southamptos central station which is ideal for people like me who are not driving ! The studio has a great selection of backdrops and a very comfy dressing room, I immediately felt like home:)

Scott the owner of the stydio its super friendly and it was great to meet him and work with him

Highly recommend Shutterworks Studios to all by me and I hope to return back soon !!

Another fantastic time at Shutterworks - fast becoming my "local"!

Scott has pushed my photographic development considerably (giving me time to play with it along the way) until now and today was no exception.

Today was almost entirely with speedlights (my own - whilst discussing the idiosyncrasies and characteristics of these really fuelling my understanding of what could be achieved), and a simply huge range of adaptors for them - again very generously loaned. The translation from lighting analysis of an "inspiration image" to it's implementation in the studio remains a challenge to be fully conquered but I'm pleased to say that we made large steps today. I cannot thank Scott enough for his time, tutelage and generosity.

Wholeheartedly recommended to all.

Had the use of Shutterworks again yesterday. Scott is the most amazing host and unbelievably helpful .I can't recommend using these facilities enough, Communication through Scott an Jeanie made the use of the studio very easy. Will be using this place on a regular basis from now on

I shot at Shutterworks at the end of a day shoot with Sinopa. Studio was friendly and well equipped. Plenty of lighting set ups and everything was easy to move around to make multiple sets. Even the floor panels could be moved which is a nice touch. Would certainly shoot there again.

I took up Sinopa Rin's casting for a studio starter session with Shutterworks Studio in Southampton - Had a good conversation with Scott about the sorts of images I hoped to produce with lighting tutelage. Ending with some awesome images shot - far better than I ever imagined I'd really be able to do. Lots of fun, lots examples of lighting techniques, ideas about mindset which really led me to think I was on a shared wavelength (reassuring!!!), and what "rules" to follow and which can be broken. A lot of fun, but gosh I went home brain fried! I'd just gotten to grips properly with manual mode metering and now studio flash has rendered that obsolete! Will be back to experiment and learn!!! Rin and Scott give a great day and I'd heartily recommend the experience to anyone.

I had a couple of hours with Sinopa Rin at the end of her studio day at Shutterworks. My first time at the studio but won't be the last...

Clean, well equipped and a good location. Scott is a great guy, very friendly and always willing to lend a hand with the lighting, etc.

A great studio if you live in the area... if you don't, then get your ar$e down to Southampton and shoot some of the great local models :-)

Another sell-out studio day at Shutterworks! As always, Scott was brilliant and so helpful throughout the day, providing lots of lighting assistance and refreshments for the photographers when needed. I absolutely love working at Shutterworks and look forward to the next time.

Kristin and I had a 3 hour shoot with Sinopa Rin at Shutterworks. The kit all worked well and Scott was most helpful and a pleasure to work with.

Not only did we come away with some great images, but we also picked up a few ideas along the way.

Would happily work there again.

Its had been a while since i worked here and is always worth the wait! Even though there was a little mix up with the rooms, it takes true talent for it not to matter... and that talent is named SCOTT!! Professional, patient, has lots of wonderful/is very open to new ideas :) I love working with scott becuase for some reason... without me even mentioning it to him, i'll look at the back of the camera and go " thats exactly what I invisioned ^.^" was a really fun shoot with a great team, ALWAYS recommend! x

I had a shoot at Shutterworks Studio with Emma May Cops on Sunday. This was my second visit to the studio and on both occasions owners Scott and Jeannie have been helpful is setting the lighting and are always close by in case of problems but never interfering. There are plenty of backdrops and props available and I am happy to recommend this studio.

I shot at Shutterworks on Saturday with Scott Chalmers.

Shutterworks falls into my favourite type of studio full of natural light, props & accessories.

The staff are friendly & helpful, make amazing headpieces which they let you use & make good tea!

It also has a range of lights & backdrops & such for those of you that are after that sort of thing :)

Would happily work at the studio again!

I had an amazing time at Shutterworks Studio today ! It was my first time hiring a studio and Scott was brilliant. He suggested different lighting techniques to help me get the looks I wanted and set them up for me. I am very pleased with how the photo's have turned out and I will defiantly be using the studio again in the future ! Kyle

Sinopa Rin

Another brilliant shoot at Shutterworks today. I modelled for a new photographer on one of our starter packs while Scott gave some great tuition - the lighting set-ups created some beautiful images and as always Scott was a pleasure to work with. Wonderful studio and highly recommended.

Scott at Shutterworks was brilliant, the portfolio builder/tuition session was spot on and he immediately understood my (newbie!) abilities and seamlessly passing on hints and lighting ideas to set up some superb images with our lovely model, Sinopa Rin. I highly recommend Shutterworks Studio and will be back for more!

My thanks to Scott and Jade for a great time, very informative learnt quite a lot just got too keep practising I could have gone on all night but only a certain amount of time never mind, need to buy some stuff now to make things even better.
