Just come home from a most fabulous 2 and a half day shoot with Carl, I love every minute with this beautiful creative soul!

I fell in love with Carls work and dreamed of creating with him, those dreams came true! There is magic and mischief in the studio when I arrive to create..... we delight in pushing the boundaries and work hard with pleasure.

I travel for hours on trains to get to Mr Grim's studio, its worth each and every mile, no far is too far, because for all my effort Carl matches it during and after the shoot. I absolutely adore working with Carl, the planning, the delivery and the results are all from the meeting of minds, a most inspirational creative if ever I met one.

Wow wow wow wow I had a shoot with Carl Grim today and what an incredible man and such a gentleman through the whole shoot.

We’ve had this shoot plan for such a long time but because of the Covid issues it take a year to finally getting around to our shoot.

But it was 100% worth the wait.

When I arrived At Carl Grim he welcome to his studio

I couldn’t believe it’s was amazing. He had everything you could ever thing of. His studio is insane.

We created some fantastic images and some different set.

I really can’t wait to see the finish image

What a shoot...chess went from logical to sexy. Carl puts so much effort into every shoot we do and manages to surprise me every time. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and the images are awesome.

After having to postpone our shoot because of lockdown I finally got to shoot with Carl again! We’ve shot together multiple times now and every time he amazes me. He’s a gentleman from start to finish, he always pushes me to my absolute best and he always creates absolutely incredible images. He’ll take any small idea and turn into into absolute art, every single minute of being in his studio is fun and exciting. We managed to do a ton of different sets from 10am till 6pm and even then we’ve still got a million things we want to shoot next time.

Thankyou as always Carl, aswell as everything else shooting with you boosts my self esteem incredibly and sharpens my modelling skills massively. I can’t wait for the two duos we’ve got booked in, and the next solo!

Carl Grimm is one of my favorite photographers. I honore him for his keen eye for composition, exquisite lighting, his sense of beauty and taste, his adventurous and sometimes weird mind, his technical perfection, his artistic sensibility and his humor.

Garl granted me his generous permission to use some of his images as a reference for my drawing and supported whenever possible. A special artist with great artistic heart and mind. I love his work and I learn about the principles of quality art every time I see one of his images. As an ex dancer in my terms he would be a principal ballerino. Thank you Carl.

This was our third duo collaboration, UKcutegirl and me modelling for Carl. As always there was lots of idea-planning beforehand which makes the shoot more productive but also gets the mind flowing in anticipation.

We chose:

- Kinky Christmas

- Club Tropicana, daytime and nighttime

- Ponygirl

....as our scenes this time.

Carl’s planning and preparation of his studio was fantastic as always with lots of elaborate props. Mix this with his skill with studio lighting the images are stunning and something to be truly proud of.

The shoots with Carl are always super-creative and so much fun. There’s lots laughter along the way so it’s a great environment In which to be creative.

Whether you’re a model or a photographer, if you get a chance to work with Carl I suggest you grab it, as you are bound to have a great time and will probably learn a lot too.

I‘m looking forward to the next shoot, later this year, once we get clear of bloody lockdown!

Carl is one of my favourite photographers to work with. Always so much energy and enthusiasm which make the shoots so enjoyable! He listens and incorporates my ideas into the shoots which is lovely. He is brilliant at explaining what he wants and at teaching poses, giving great advice when needed :)

I can't wait until we can work together again! I'd highly recommend working with him if you get the chance :)

I had another fabulous shoot with Carl on Sunday 1st November. After our shoot being cancelled three times because of Mr.Covid we finally got to shoot at last. Although I was supposed to have been shooting with someone else Mr.Covid put a stop to that,so Carl and I did a solo shoot which was nice for a change as I had been doing duo's every time we shot. I have lost count how many times over the years we have shot,but each each time we shoot its always a very creative and fun shoot.

As always Carl's pre comms were excellent leading upto our shoot. We discussed what ideas we wanted to do and came up with three themes. During the shoot Carl would show me after every few shots and I loved what I saw. Carl's enthusiasm and creativity never fails to surprise me and this is why I love shooting with him.

So pleased we managed to squeeze in our shoot before lockdown number two tomorrow.

Thanks again for another great shoot. Highly recommended.

I have admired Carl's work for quite a while and finally asked him for a shoot. Luckily for me, Carl agreed to shoot with me and we arranged a date. It was quite tricky in the current situation and with me going abroad for a while but we managed. I was so pleased about that. The pre-shoot communication with Carl was excellent, he always responded very promptly to my messages and was extremely accomodating. We discussed some of the themes but I was happy to go with the flow as I trusted Carl that he would produce great images regardless of the theme. The shoot itself was very relaxed and Carl was very easy going and so focused on the actual shooting. He even allowed me to use his pool despite it being my first shoot with him. I was very happy about that. What I saw at the back of the camera looked great, I can't wait to see the images. Thank you for the shoot.

I shot with the wonderful Mr Grim yesterday at his studios for the second time. This time solo.

It was yet again full of madness, delight and magic.

I had so much fun and really enjoyed being able to express myself and ideas. Carl once again was brimming with ideas and the 5 hours flew like a shot. No pun intended there.

I have Just had the most incredible experience working with the fantastic Carl Grim! We planned this shoot a couple of months ago and seeing his incredible work on purple port I hoped to create some magical images with him. I had previously been the model for a photographer on a tutorial shoot with Carl and from this I approached Carl knowing that his experience and studio were literally out of this world! I was absolutely thrilled when he agreed and so we began our planning of themes and sets, including a Harley Davidson shoot which I arranged and Carl kindly entertained in his studio.

I honestly can say I could have just stayed the week shooting and never for a moment been bored! Carl's enthusiasm and energy is superb, always encouraging and praising which is reassuring. The studio is incredible well equipped including a rain function and high shine floor which I love. The pre comms were perfect and throughout Carl was the perfect gentleman and professional. I can't wait to see the finished result.

I most definitely recommend Carl to anyone, Models and photographers. I certainly hope to work with Carl again. Thank you for an amazing day and experience. Perfection! 🌹

I cannot stress enough what an incredible shoot I just had with Carl! We had booked some months ago at the beginning of lockdown so it was a long excited wait, but absolutely worth it.

Carl’s communication was fantastic throughout, from planning to on the day. He is very easy to talk to, passionate and honest. We talked through my levels in detail and I never felt under pressure exceed them.

Carl’s studio is incredible! So many wonderful toys to play with. We started off with implied nude on a reflective black floor and then worked with stripes and projections.

Carl is all about deliberate set up of poses to create a perfect image; not wildly snapping and hoping one works. He was brilliant at guiding me to set up the pose with clear, polite instructions- a technique I really appreciated. His enthusiasm when I got it right was also delightful!

I’m blessed to have already received the results- I’m overwhelmed by how incredible they are. Thank you Mr Grim for a wonderful shoot and spectacular images, I hope you’ll have me back again soon to get wet!

I had been looking forward so much to working with Carl sine we originally arranged the shoot pre-lockdown. So, when we were finally able to start planning the shoot, it was wonderful.

Carl is fantastically enthusiastic throughout the whole process, providing excellent direction and clarity at every stage. I was able to give him an idea of the kind of thing I was looking for from the shoot, and he built a plan from there, for us to go on, on the day.

Carl’s studio is an absolute wonderland, with awesome props and accessories that offer plenty of food for thought and extra inspiration. He gives fantastic direction during the shoot, and knows exactly how to tailor it in order to get the best out of the model’s individuality. He’s always open to input, and knows exactly how to translate everything so it looks amazing.

He is friendly, professional and welcoming, going above and beyond to accommodate his model.

I’m eagerly anticipating the final images from Carl, as they are unlike anything I’ve ever done before, and I know they are going to be second to none.

I absolutely recommend working with Carl, as you will learn so much, and have an awesome experience.

What can I say about Carl Grim.

The man is an ARTIST without question.

Before a shoot he will always come up with a program for the day. This will include an order of the sets you are going to do aswell as a detailed storyline and description for each which will help to prepare clothing and poses beforehand. His pre-communications are excellent, you never are questioning how the day is going to go and can always show up feeling prepared and confident because of this.

He is always such a gentleman when he picks me up from the station, stands by his car for me, opens the door for me and is always on time. Our last shoot we shot a duo, I had applied to a casting call of his and he’d selected me to work with him and Josh. What an amazing day we had.

Carl makes my confidence go beyond levels it’s ever gone and because of that I’m able to push my body to create images I never thought I’d be able to create myself. The way he lights your body, the way he knows how to move you an inch to the left or right to get the perfect shadows is absolutely insane. On top of all that, he always makes sure I feel comfortable and never pushes me past my limits. All of his work has such a high taste level, as you can tell from his portfolio.

Every single image I get from Carl I love, there is never a dull moment in his studio and never a dull image either. I spent two hours going through our duo set, purely because I was in awe of every single image. Thankyou ever so much Carl for ever shoot we’ve had so far, not only are you a brilliant photographer but such a laugh and a great man. Can’t wait for our next shoots, I hope we get to book in more!

Well oh well, where to start with Mr Grim....

This man is just exceptional in every aspect of photography and such a great guy. He is fun and full of laughs, friendly, comforting and makes everyone involved feel at ease. I worked solo an duo with him and every time I have shot as a BG duo with him, he is so respectful and outlines the shoot and checks all are comfortable prior and throughout.

Carl has the craziest, yet most brilliant ideas I have ever heard, which make for creative and epic shoots. When it comes to planning shoots, his ideas are detailed, however he is so open to your thoughts, opinions and ideas and gets everyone involved in creating poses and taking it in turns with ideas.

No photographer has ever impressed me to his level of skills, capabilities and abilities especially when it comes to lighting and creating amazing high and low key images. His turn around on images is super fast and you get so, so many images back making for loads of incredible images.

Where to even start. From the communication to the studio to the man and his vision. All second to none.

I had my first shoot with Carl this weekend with the wonderful Miss Victoria Storm. It was both challenging but wonderful all wrapped into one.

We spent the weekend at Carl’s home studio and boy did we cover a variety. All three of our ideas were put into practise and made reality.

Carl’s vision started with a wonderful shoot plan portrayed in story form. This sets the scene perfectly just teasing you ever so slightly so you know what to expect.

From the moment we arrived Carl was warm and welcoming. He has the perfect manner making you feel totally at ease. He is absolutely hilarious and we laughed from start to finish. Even though we had long days it was worth it and an absolute pleasure to be a part of.

If you want an experience, creativity and fun you must work with this amazing photographer. You won’t regret it.
