Never have a bad word to say about Shaun, he is just an all around amazing human being. We had to postpone our shoot due to a catastrophic incident in my personal life and I ended up being late to the shoot (thank you train strikes!) despite all of the above I had a fabulous time and he put me up in the most wonderful way, I have no bad words for this chap... he is a wizard with his photos... just book him, you won't regret it!

Shaun has to be my favourite person in this industry. We work together all the time and I think so highly of him, not just as a photographer but as a person.

He has some of the best skills there is when it comes to studio shooting with lighting expertise second to none. He has a level of talent to capture the best image that is incomparable at what he does.

Shaun Is always so friendly, accommodating with somewhere to stay at his studio (which he makes a little home for you and everything you could need), constantly offering coffee and snack, just a really nice guy.

A crazy genius is the best way to describe him due to his phenomenal creativity, ability to Enginere anything that could benefit a set and constant energy and enthusiasm.

I look forward to shooting together again in a couple weeks!

Fabulous location shoot day with fellow model Lou1111 on Shaun’s beautiful boat, if you can call the open sea a location!

Any photographer will know that shooting in bright sunlight is a nightmare at times, but Shaun’s photography skills barely need reiterating by now.

We shot a mix of swimwear, fabrics and art nude, both solo and duo - Shaun helping make sure both models posed to compliment each other and never once looked (or felt) awkward. Always bags of fun, I love this guy!

Today Shaun took myself and Pollyanna Hale on board his beautiful yacht and we sailed on the sea with our skipper! Wow!! What an amazing day!

There is no end to this mans talents. He is just amazing and I love working with him. Even on the boat sailing the seas, he works the light fantastic!! As the sun set lower in the sky, the light was beautiful and so are the images. Our skipper and Shaun worked together to angle the boat with the light, and Polly and I did our thing jumping into pose! It was an absolute dream!! Magical!!

My shoots with Shaun are always fantastic! And as I write this now, my smile is beaming thinking about our day. He’s a joy to work with and every time produces the most amazing images.

Thank you once again Shaun for another magical adventure!! Until the next time…..

My second shoot with Shaun. Due to some problems with trains I ended up coming down early and staying two nights. It was well worth it. We did a very full day's shooting and used lots of ideas props and different sets.

Shaun is very professional, he knows exactly what he's doing and he has an extensive store of props and scenery. Highly recommended.

This was my second time shooting with Shaun and it was fantastic.

As usual, he was extremely diligent and efficient in producing some wonderful scenarios to work with which were different from what we shot the first time around. His communication throughout was excellent, and his direction on the day was precise and very accurate.

He’s very complimentary and enthusiastic which makes collaborating with him easy and very enjoyable.

He produced edits very quickly (not even 24 hours later) which are looking really good.

Third time working with this incredible photographer, in his fantastic home studio. This time a duo shoot with Mr Npr, who is one of the best male models I know of. Co-ordinating duo shoots is complicated as any tog who's tried it knows but Shaun knows to how to multitask and get every person and object in the frame working perfectly together. His creativity and resourcefulness are unrivalled and it was an honour to have bene invited back to shoot with him.

I can’t even remember how many shoots I’ve had now with the amazing Shaun Solent. But I do remember that each and every one has created some of the most amazing images.

Shaun invited me to Dorchester Prison to shoot with him, obviously I jumped at the opportunity!! Yesssss!! Oh my…. What a shoot!!

I absolutely love working with Shaun. He is one of the nicest people I know. He has such a passion for photography and his enthusiasm is infectious.

He is the master of light! No matter where we go or what we do, this man lights me perfectly…. Every…. Single… time! He goes to great lengths to get the shots and angles and nails it!

This shoot was special. The images are out of this world. I sat on the beach in Cornwall when I received the edits, with a smile on my face and tears of joy and astonishment in my eyes, I was overwhelmed at the beauty of what we created.

Incredible duo shoot with Shaun and Hannorah yesterday which has left me grinning from ear to ear!

Shaun is one amazing photographer, His eye for detail is impeccable and not to mention an awesome guy.

We worked through a number of sets ranging from pillow fights to a festival themed set using big hats and floaty dresses.

I’ve yet again had one of the best shoots with Carl and can’t wait for the next three! Probably 4,5 I could go on!

Carl you are incredible I’m so lucky to be able to shoot with you over and over again!

My second shoot with Shaun, our first was 4 years ago when I had first started modelling.

This time was duo shoot with beautiful Jade K. What can I say other than I am blown away! Jade and I's styles and figures are so different but we complimented each other so well.

Shaun is so welcoming and has a studio like no other, along with a vast amount of props and outfits. We shot sexy fashion, pillow fights and stunning implied nude.

He is so enthusiastic and passionate about getting the most out of you as a model and has a signature style of photography.

Shaun's enthusiasm, passion and great talent as a photographer, combined with his kindness and warmness as a human being are there just as before Covid-19 started.

I have not modelled since then...or just before that, so for nearly 3 years. Therefore I was not confident at all ahead of the shoot and was really hesitant and not sure about standing up in front of the camera again. However, Shaun gave me kind comments throughout the shoot combined with very helpful posing suggestions which emphasised my strong points and minimised weaker ones. This improved my modelling ability and my confidence.

I feel that I am dramatically lucky to start shooting with Shaun again and I am humbly thankful to him for inviting me again as a model into his studio.

It’s always a fantastic experience to work with Shaun. One of the most talented photographers I know.

He is very good with light and every setting brings out the best in his models. He knows immediately which way and how much to move the model for the most perfect result.

He communicates very well, explaining exactly what he has in mind, making him very easy to work with.

His studio is fantastically set up. Everything is possible! A dream studio. He has a pole, aerial hoop, silks, cube, and dance floors…. Everything you could possibly need. The studio is very well organized, and everything has its place.

He starts the shoot with a ready plan for lights and backgrounds, he sees exactly what the model's strengths are, which he brings out beautifully.

He fully understands and rrspects boundaries of the models.

Shaun is always a pleasure to work with and the results are always fantastic!

I have shot with Shaun many times now, and each and every shoot has been out of this world.

When my path first crossed with Shaun I was a fairly new model. From our first shoot to the one we’ve just had, I have learned so so much from him. His lighting skills are fantastic and the images we create are exquisite. Each time that I receive edits from our shoots I am literally overwhelmed at the beauty of them. I am constantly blow away with the results. From lighting, composition, to pose perfection; this man is amazing!! You only have to look at his images yourself to understand the beauty that I explain.

Not only is Shaun an amazing photographer, but he is a true gentleman. I could spend days shooting with Shaun. He’s great company, a good laugh and will bend over backwards to get a good shot. Noting is too small for Shaun. You discuss ideas together, and in his magical space that is his studio, he makes them come alive.

I feel like I could never write enough to praise this man to give him the credit he deserves. I feel blessed and honoured to work with him, time and time again. If you should get the opportunity to create with Shaun, take it!! I promise you that you will be equally astonished at his skills.

Wow the saga of Josh and Shaun continues!

This man is out of this World with his ideas, creativity and talent!

Every shoot with Shaun is an experience. He goes out of his way to plan, create and capture every shoot with such enthusiasm from start to finish.

We had a great day of solo shooting. Art nude, workshop man and a chess player.

The second day was a duo shoot, art nude, shower set and a suspended cube. This man had the most incredible ideas and sets which he builds all himself!

In a league of hus own! Roll on our 2 shoots next week!

This was my 22nd shoot with Shaun making him the photographer that I have worked with more than anyone else!

Why....

He is an incredible photographer who captured them most amazing images! Shaun is such a talented lighting technician with a genuine eye for composition. His creativity and ideas are just phenomenal and make for stunning images. Shaun has always show professionalism and respect to me and even single female that I have worked with and I praise him so much for this!

He is also a great person, friendly, fun and accommodating which makes for a great shoot. The images which I have achieved with Shaun are my favourite photographs ever!

Yesterday I had the opportunity and privilege to shoot with the fantastic Shaun Solent and I'm finding it hard to find the words to describe how incredible the shoot was!

This a duo shoot that myself and Joshenton had been discussing and I've seen all his work with Shaun and who else better than to shoot this duo?!

Prior to the shoot Shaun was messaging us with ideas, what ideas we had and came up with a shoot plan in advance for the day.

When I arrived at the studio I was great by him with loads of energy and a massive smile on his face, given a tour of his studio, offered tea or coffee and then we discussed more of the days ideas

I love how passionate Shaun is about his images, set up and lighting. He's an absolute dream to work with!

He's so professional, funny and chatty he will make you feel completely at easy!

Chapter 4:

My departure from November 2021 to May 2022, felt like a mission away, but I kept the head down and the effort up. The reflection post shoot is a starting point for me to set new goals. Which I did and consistently altered the nutrition, macros and my sleep hygiene. I undertook a huge overhaul in physical and mental health.

I knew it would be worth it.

My family, friends and neighbors have witnessed me road running morning and night in the rain sleet and snow.

My diet and drinks have been researched and commitment to excellence was a priority.

People thought I was going mad and the sniggers and outbursts about me and my regime have been enough for me to cut ties with some people.

All worth it.

I knew in my heart why I was working without any waivering

I absolutely adore each and every set in every shoot with this photographer. Something inside my heart body and soul clicked I found my utopia, so I am motivated to achieve the goal and then some. Nothing else compares.

I enjoy the countdown because I strive hard to achieve more than the previous time. I enjoy the shoot because this is joy. Therapeutic free flow state, and time becomes irrelevant and I deliver it all day with the passion and enthusiasm because I mirror what is given to me. I have been blessed with lucky stars because this is the magic I dreamed about and the company and creative abilities is bliss. It's beautiful bliss.

Then the images blow my mind.

I am so moved I cry because it's over and cry in happiness because I am so blessed to have been there.

I am crying now because I have so much love and compassion for the most immense pleasure and privilege I have been fortunate enough to experience in my life. I thought being high in a rave was unbeatable, I was wrong, this exceeds that high.

I am sober living and clean from the rave, booze and fast living. I made the changes to be the best I could be to return and carry on the the path to self actualisation.

I am so grateful to have been facilitated by your energy and enthusiasm because of this, you inspire me to try and be a good match for you. I am beyond grateful because I respect you from the heart and understand you from the mind I deliver to you from the soul.

You are the best leadership and mentor, and my soul sours high in your company. I am honoured to be able to make images and memories with you
