Where do I begin with Carl? I’ve shot with him 4 times since January this year and I’ve loved every time, always makes me feel super comfortable and the images are always amazing, I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of shooting with Carl, if you haven’t booked I suggest you do, you won’t regret it!

Had my first shoot after lockdown! Finally and what a better way to start it all off again... with Carl Grim!

He went above and beyond like every photoshoot, he kept distance & made sure I had masks & hand sanitiser! He made sure we was both safe during the whole photoshoot!

He had set up different sets for us to do a four hour photoshoot and I loved every second of it!

Carl always has amazing ideas and I’m always excited to shoot with him again after having repeated amazing shoots!

Carl always makes sure I see the images & when I got them back I was in awe with them all!

Never a failed photoshoot with Carl!

This was my second shoot with the photography mastermind Mr Carl Grim. WOW I was so in owe with his abilities and endearing personality the first time that my expectations were super high.

Carl just raise the bar AGAIN! He can come up with anything brilliant out of any situation including a last minute change upon to a B/G/G shoot including a fetish frame and huge studio shower area! Mermaids, fishermen, apocalypse and BDSM all incorporates in a days shoot...standard level or creativity for Carl Grim!

His lighting skills are impeccable, his people skills and comforting and brilliant and his mind is creative and weirdly wonderful.

My favourite all time Photograoher! I shall be arranging our next shoot ASAP!

First time meeting Carl invited by Josh Enton and working with the beautiful Lou1111. I knocked on the door instantly greeted with such kindness & enthusiasm! The studios are incredible within a quick turnaround we were shooting a range of scenarios and even atmospheric rain for our Fisherman capturing Mermaids scene with B/G/G! Carl has so much energy and continually looks for a better shot. Thank you for such inspiration and teaching me so much!

Today was my first shoot with Carl. I was invited by Josh Enton to join him and another model (not on PurplePort) for a B/G/G shoot at Carl’s studio.

Wow!!

Carl’s studio is amazing!! The possibilities are endless.... literally!! We worked through a few sets. Beginning in the dungeon, and ending with a fisherman catching two mermaids in a net in a shower of rain.

Carl is an amazing photographer, his lighting skills are second to none! He knows exactly how to accentuate your best assets and is fabulous to work with. Carl is very passionate about his photography, he is extremely professional but also knows how to have a laugh and is lots of fun to be around. A true gentleman!

I’m really looking forward to working with Carl again.

It's not every day that an opportunity of a lifetime knocks on your door... But that's exactly what happened to me when Carl invited me to spend two weeks shooting on a sailing yacht in Thailand. Still can't quite believe it ever happened!!!!

Anyhow... Going on an adventure such as this required an enormous amount of trust and mutual respect from all involved parties. I can honestly say that Carl and his crew could not have done more to ensure my time with them was comfortable and safe.

Shooting with Carl NEVER disapponts... We took every opportunity we could to create some truly phenomenal images!! No sooner did we shoot, Carl was already sat in humid 40 degree heat processing the images... Talk about dedication!!

I can't thank Carl enough for my time in Thailand. I cannot wait to show the world the images that have been captured so beautifully!!!!

The best thing? We have two more shoots planned!!! Can't wait!!

Carl is always absolutely amazing to work with! He is so enthusiastic, creative and positive it makes the shoot itself so much fun. His ideas are insanely awesome every time and the pics always blow me away!

Shot with Carl for the second time yesterday and as expected he never disappoints! Always has such amazing ideas and an eye for detail.

Carl always creates a such a good shooting environment and makes me feel extremely comfortable, look forward to working more with him in the future.

We find ourselves here again, the fairy tale slaying family by the name of grim and the Monster himself, but these two work well together and live happily ever after.

Wonderful shoot with Carl yesterday - a fun, creative session playing with his incredible lighting skills and my circus skills. We shot aerial hoop, trapeze and floor work, all with an "athletic art-nude focus". It was great fun to be able to play in his beautiful studio, it's perfectly equipped for aerial work. Carl put me through my paces and I left very tired but confident we created some beautiful images!

Carl was very welcoming, considerate and easy to talk to. I hope to work with him again soon!

It was not our first shooting together, but I think the most successful!! We created so great pictures together! It’s always amazing to shoot with Carl!

He is a great person with a good sense of humor so enjoyed our shooting so much!

He has a huge place to shoot and he has everything that you need for a shooting. Pole, aerial hoop and silks, more background, beautiful walls and windows.

Carl had already a plan for the shooting. And we were really good in the time so we could fulfill the schedule. We created beautiful and different pictures.

He is very perfectionist and he always try to find the best lighting. I’m also perfectionist so we can work so good together!

I’m looking forward to shooting with Carl again! He is so talented!

Second shoot with Carl Grim at his studio this weekend. From beginning to the end, I can only say Carl is Carl. Everything just professional, great knowledge, tutoring, pre-comms and all.

Carl gave me a lot of tips how to improve my skills, how to be great art nude and know what is my strong point which help a lot in my future modelling.

He made me work hard but he made my images worth every aching I had. :)

As every models would say the same, Carl is great to work with, friendly, professional and very talented.

Apologies for the delay I leaving a reference. My phone died and I have no access to a computer.

My second time shooting with Carl which was incredible. Carl's direction is brilliant and such a creative mind. Turned up to a schedule of what was planned and I was excited albeit dubious about the wolf set but I do love a challenge and dressing up and acting is a passion of mine so I threw myself into it and got on with it.

Carl is great fun to work with. He works you hard but it's worth it when you see the results. Love love love this man. So grateful.

Yesterday a duo shoot with my partner in crime, Renoa.

Carl, as always, was such fun to work with!! A complete professional capturing the most beautiful images, an absolute master of lighting!!!

Carl has already made a start on processing the images and from what we saw on the back of the camera... I think they'll be pretty incredible!!

I had to wait 6 months from when we booked our shoot however...wow well worth the wait!! Carl was fun, professional full of ideas and brilliant at pushing a model to the max!

I didn't realise I could achieve as much...Carl made it happen. I did nick name him the punisher. Although I gave him this nickname I was loving being pushed to achieve some great shots.

Carl made me laugh so much he has a great sense of humour.

Carl really is an inspiration to work with and will get the creative juices flowing.

If you get the chance to work with Carl take it (even if you do have to wait) you will not be disappointed!!! I look forward to hopefully getting to work with this amazing man again! Totally recommended.

Had an amazing second shoot with the one and only Carl Grim!

I can’t say even put into words how amazing it is to shoot with this guy!

Carl is enthusiastic from start to finish which helps creates fabulous images! He always has a plan before the shoot starts & we sadly never get to finish all of our ideas but I don’t mind that because it means I have another shoot to look forward to!

Carl is ever so helpful with everything! My personal situations, accommodating me, helping with poses, ideas, outfits, props! It’s never ending! Carl goes above and beyond at his photoshoots and I cannot thank you enough!

If you get a chance to shoot with Carl please don’t pass it down! You certainly won’t regret it!

I’ve already seen the photos from our second shoot and wow! They are incredible! I always know I’m going to love the photos before I even see them! Carl also always shows me the back of the camera so I can get a feel for what we are trying to create and that helps a lot during our shoots!

Always fun and relaxed covered in clay and mud, water everywhere with lots of smiles and laughs

I’m not sure what I can say about Carl that hasn’t already been said - what an incredible being, and a very talented photographer!

Carl and I planned to shoot roughly 6 months ago - due to both of our busy diaries this was the only opportunity we both had.

Carl’s pre-communication were spot-on. We discussed in great detail what we would be shooting, what I would need to bring along with me, and what Carl would be supplying himself. We ended up having multiple things to shoot, so plenty of choice.

Unfortunately for me, traffic on the day I planned to arrive was horrendous, but Carl stayed up until I had arrived safely (which ended up being roughly 1am the next day!)

After a brief tour of Carl’s studio, we agreed on a time to start shooting later that day and both retired to bed. It was incredibly kind of Carl to allow me to stay in his studio for two nights, as I was shooting the next day as well at Fareham studio. Carl made sure I knew where everything was and made sure that I had everything I needed, including towels and plenty of refreshments.

The next day, we began shooting! We put together a brief plan of the themes we had discussed from what I had brought with me, so we knew what we would be shooting and could make the most of the day, but also created a plan B, in case we had time.

Carl is an absolute perfectionist, and truly talented photographer. He knows how to work his models and how to get the best out of them. It’s clear that Carl has an image in mind and knows exactly how to get it. His direction is very clear and concise, yet he did allow me to go with my own flow and pose as freely as I liked.

Carl is also quite the engineer! He has multiple pulleys and other nifty contraptions installed in his studio that result in it being efficient and also means he can utilise the space appropriately. The studio itself is an old coachhouse. It’s beautifully decorated - clearly a lot of thought has gone into it to make it as comfortable and as appropriate for use as possible. It’s a beautiful place, with some wonderful sets.

Carl and I ended up shooting for roughly six or seven hours, and by the time we had finished we were both exhausted. Carl had worked incredibly hard to make sure that the time we had spent together working was incredibly successful and that we both enjoyed ourselves to the max, as well as getting awesome images. Carl is absolutely great fun to work with. He is passionate about his art and has a way of making anybody feel and look incredible - my head was huge by the time I left, I was so full of confidence!

The next morning, Carl invited me to have a look at the images that we had created to get a second glance and to make sure that I was happy with what we had created the day before. Virtually every single image was perfect! He took on board my suggestions and respected my levels entirely.

All in all, I felt incredibly comfortable around Carl. He is professional, chatty, and an absolute gentleman. I would wholeheartedly recommend Carl and would definitely work with him again if I had the chance. Thank you so much, Carl!
