Carl is definitely passionate about his photography. He gives the directions needed to achieve great pictures, had fantastic ideas for David51 and myself as duo or solo, professional, enthusiast, funny, I really loved working with him in his studio. He had props and different settings. Warmly recommended and I hope to work with him again soon.

Commuting to Carl's superb studio is now something of a regular occurrence.

This would be shoot number 3 or 4. I forget now as like i say its a regular thing. This time it was a continued shoot concept that had been developed with carl / jade / myself.

As always details and communication from carl was spot on.

A huge array of props and clothing was at our disposal as always.

A super warm studio and coffee and snacks on the go.

As for carl and his work. There are no other words to add which has not been said already. He is simply magnificent. And unique in his own way.

This was a carry on of our duo shoot with the very talented Mr Npr using several sets and scenarios,

Always very welcoming with a cup a coffee waiting to warm me up, This was again an extremely fun shoot,

What can I say that I haven’t said already but I can’t wait to shoot with Carl again, Next time a gg shoot,

Oh wow where do I start ! I travelled to Carl from Manchester pre communication was excellent and he even let me stop over in his lovely coach house studio the night before our shoot :) he was an amazing host and made me feel comfortable and at ease ! Honestly he is one of the nicest people I have ever met , he constantly made me feel amazing about my self , I have never felt as confident in a shoot as I did with Carl ! He is a professional for sure , he knows what he’s doing , what he wants and doesn’t disappoint. He truly is an amazing photographer and person ! His studio is one of the best studios I’ve ever seen he has loads of facilities and never short on ideas :) I cannot wait to work with him again , I can not recommend him enough ! So worth the journey

Had a brilliant shoot hosted by Carl at his studio! I've worked with Carl before some years ago now, and he brought the exact same creative energy and spark to this shoot as he did back then!

Carls attention to detail is second to none, he knows the vital importance of getting the angle just perfectly, and he will shoot you as an individual - studying your body and face's unique qualities and celebrating these specifically in his shots. He has a quality over quantity approach and does not stop until he gets the PERFECT image, but then doesn't waste time overshooting it - once it's in the bag, he moves to the next shot. This means every final shot is a keeper!

His studio too is the perfect backdrop for the art nudes we shot, he has thought of everything in there - including comfort. While it is a beautiful old coachhouse, it is also clean, tidy and warm.

Carl's passion for light, shadow, and the human form is infectious, and while I was low on energy before this shoot, and struggling to recover from illness, by the end I was absolutely pumped, had totally forgot I was even ill, and left very inspired!

If you're feeling a bit uninspired or lacking motivation with your modelling, shoot with Carl. He will open your eyes to your own capabilities as a model, pushing your poses to the next level.

I went to Carl for a lighting workshop, the pre shoot comments were good and had all the information I needed.

I thought the workshop was very good and got a lot good advice from him.

His studio is a very interesting place with lots of equipment props and lights for different set ups,

I got some great shots from the day and think that was also helped by Eliza who is a great model.

So thanks Carl and Eliza for a great day.

My solo shoot with Carl for the first time for a long time was AWESOME!!! Literally "time flew by!!!"

Carl’s best point is that he centres on the best parts of a model and displays them perfectly and optimally with gorgeous lighting and precise direction. Carl also continually compliments models which makes us not only comfortable and happy but also motivates us to try to improve ourselves for the next shot! His cleverly organised, gorgeous studio, his warm and kind personality and his outstanding talent create a dream world for models. In this dream world I was an anime girl which was my first challenge and then a catwalk model!!! I love Carl's creativity and cannot wait for the next creation!!!

I had a five months wait to work one on one with the infamous Carl Grim, and I tell you what, I'd wait twice that to do it again!

Carl has so much passion that it radiates off of him and he goes above and beyond to get the best out of you! He is a complementary gentleman and I came away from his magical studio feeling invincible!

I walked in feeling flawed and Carl took those flaws and made them into something beautiful.

I really can not recommend this man enough, if anyone gets the chance to work with him, snap it up!

As well as being a magician of light and angles, he practically built his studio with his bare hands! Such a talented man and a really great person to spend time with.

I have wanted to work with Carl for YEARS! and i am so glad we finally got around to organise something. Ive also always wanted to actually see the studio with all the water and stuff and i was not disappointed. We shot all sorts of fetishy awesomeness and also of course in the water with it raining and it was insane. In a good way. Its easily the most fun shoot ive ever had. Carl himself is also lovely. It was our first time meeting but we chatted and got along right away. I am a happy bobbi! if you get the chance to go and work with him do it because its fun. Thanks again for a great shoot.

I worked with Carl at his amazing studio again today and had an absolute BLAST! Carl was super kind to shoot myself and my partner- so it was truly a treat to get some stunning images together, all under Carls expert lighting which was absolutely beautiful, so flattering and pure magic.

As a woman Carl makes you feel a million dollars (or should that be a million pounds!) He is very kind, complimentary, gives AWESOME direction (He is not known as the five degree man for nothing! :) ) and has such fantastic humour, its very hard not to leave grinning ear to ear! He also made my partner feel very welcome, very included and was the perfect gentleman.

The photographs looked stunning and I can't wait to see the uploads. Carl has created the very first images of myself and my partner and I am really grateful.

He has some crazy ideas but always manages to pull them off creating stunning work every time. I love working with him and would highly recommend :)

Is Carl a photographer, an architect, a builder, a designer, a creator or a producer?..he is definitely an artist!!!

I was lost for words when I walked into his studio this morning. A gorgeous sophisticated massage salon was there!!! Today's shoot started in this massage salon with the beautiful UkCuteGirl Lucy as a masseur. I am sure that it took hours and hours to create such a beautiful salon in his studio and he always makes every effort and endeavour to achieve the highest level of photography. Every time when I work with Carl, I find something new and I cannot stop respecting him more and more.

The second setting was mud and then water which needed a long preparation time and he almost skipped his already short lunch break for it. When a shoot finishes, it finishes for the models, but it takes a really long time for Carl to tidy up and get ready for the next one. Thank you very much and I really appreciate and respect you, Carl. He is definitely one of the best and most enthusiastic and talented photographers.

Thank you for the amazing, fun shoot and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

PS : I recounted the number of our shoots and found out that I have to add another 11 days full day shoots so this is our 36th shoot so far! WOW!!!

I had an awesome shoot with Carl at his cleverly organised studio and in his garage with his beautiful vintage Jaguar, accompanied by Joel Hicks.

Carl kindly arranged everything, the studio settings were ready in advance, he made a perfect outfit for me and looked after me as I was very nervous.

The reason why Carl's images are so brilliant are because he sees the individual as both a model and a person with his warm heart; he is thoughtful, full of kindness and enjoys creating real art with his talent. This time I particularly felt that he was considerate, attentive, caring and sympathetic...!!!

Carl quickly edited images from the shoot with his vintage Jaguar and they are FANTASTIC!!!

I am greatly honoured that I keep working with this great photographer and this is our 24th shoot!!! Thank you very much for the awesome 24th shoot, Carl!!!

As always, Carl's pre-shoot comms were excellent, and on the day, Carl worked with his usual exuberance and charm. He's an absolute delight! As a photographer, what Carl doesn't know about light, isn't worth knowing, and he is clear in his direction towards models. The ultimate professional, as always, as pleasure!

Well what can I say about Mr Grim that I haven't said before 🤔🤔

So today I had the pleasure of shooting with Carl for the 3rd time , this time for a duo shoot with the wonderful Mr Focu and what a shoot it was .... I can honestly say I could shoot with Carl every day of the wk for yrs to come and never tire of working with him ... not only is Carl an amazing photographer who really does put his heart and sole into every shoot, he is an absolute gent and never fails to make me feel so welcome and completely at ease In his company. ... I will forever be grateful to Carl for giving me the opportunity to work with him and in doing so, hugely built my confidence to make me believe in myself , that in itself being absolutely priceless 🤗🤗

To top that off, I am blown away with the images we have created and feel very fortunate to have yet another opportunity penned in my diary. ..

Do I recommend Carl to work with?? Hell yes!!!!!!1 You'd be an absolute fool not to take the opportunity should it come your way!!!

My third shoot with the fantastic Carl Grim.

This time I had the absolute pleasure of being invited for a days shoot upon Carls Yacht 'Ntombi'.

Working with Carl is always fun, full of laughter and I always feel 100% safe and comfortable in his company!! - The weather was glorious and not only did we have a great shoot, Carl also taught me a lot about sailing!!

The BEST thing??? I had ALL edited images in less than 24 hours!!!

Carl - You're a legend and I cannot wait for the next one!!! :D

Had a fantastic full-day shoot with Carl. Pre-shoot planning was well managed. On the day of the shoot we arrived and the scenes were well planned out and he gave very good explanations of what he wanted to achieve with each scene.

I hadn’t modelled that much before but I was able to feel at easy throughout. Lots of excitement when we got the shots just right! Haha

It was also amazing to watch his approach to lighting of the subjects.

I would definitely recommend working with Carl and I’m very excited to see the final edits from the day

Another fantastic shoot with Carl!

His work is always stunning. Shoots are always mega fun and he is great company too.

We shot an art nude/fetish boy girl shoot which I don't normally do but I knew I would be comfortable to shoot it with him. He asked me who I would like the other model to be and made sure we both were happy with everything.

I cannot wait to see the pics as from a quick look at the back of the camera I know they are going to be awesome :)
