Hello. Thank you for stopping by to view my portfolio.
Please if I may, I will keep my biography brief and let my visual art speak on my behalf. However, if you would like to gain a further insight into my photography, you may wish to read my blog..
Please note that if I approach you for work, it means that I am happy to discuss rates. However, if you make the first approach, then I would really hope to be paid since I guarantee all my customers something unique.
Please understand that I shoot on film, therefore I myself cover overheads such as the all important post production.
I happily supply my own wardrobe, as required, which consists of some original 1960's/1970's outfits, accessories and props. I have credited the sources alongside many of my photographs.
In addition, I provide a dedicated photographic space of my own which is flooded with natural light.
I am very excited as I constantly find myself developing a style of my own, albeit an obviously throwback one. I would say that my main influences include Richard Avedon, David Bailey, Playboy and Penthouse magazines circa 1960's/1970's, as well as the Pirelli calendar circa 1968/1969.
Please see the mood board which I have created for a clearer idea of where I am coming from..
I wish to add that I can just as well travel to a shoot as work from home.
To conclude, I am a huge fan and always feel greatly inspired by much of the work seen on Purpleport. Although I may have my favourites, I will have many many more as time goes on. Not only do I have enormous respect for all the gifted individuals in their fields such as modelling, photography, make up artistry etc, but also because I am extremely grateful to them for being giving of their time corresponding and being so supportive of me.
Thank you once again for dropping by.
