Ghost Light Photography

Had a tremendously productive shoot with Rachelle during her studio day at Slogical in Yeovil today. This was arranged at quite late notice but communications covered everything we needed to discuss and Rachelle was well prepared for what I wanted to cover during our shoot.

Friendly and welcoming, we got on well and were able to work at a good pace which is essential within the restrictions of a studio day. Whilst no direction is necessary with this excellent model, if you are after something in particular then Rachelle will quickly take this on board and develop the idea with some beautiful, elegant posing.

I very much hope to work with this lovely lady again. Highly, highly recommended.

An Eye for Beauty

My third shoot with Rachelle and I certainly hope to make this an annual event when she comes SW. It is amazing what a good and experienced model like Rachelle can achieve in a short space of time. Slogical Photography

I was fortunate to work with Rachelle again recently - it was a fantastic shoot. As supremely organised as ever with a huge range of carefully selected clothing, include the suit - I've been waiting a long time to shoot Rachelle with that amazing outfit :)

I don't think it's possible to have a bad shoot with Rachelle but once again it was a really fun couple of hours covering a wide range of setups and outfits - each of which Rachelle made so much better than I had originally envisaged.

Highly recommended as ever and will definitely be working with Rachelle again.

My second shoot with this stunning model... Although supposed to be a South Wales tour we managed to arrange a small diversion to Exeter where we had another very sucessful shoot at my home studio trying out a number of different ideas...

Rachelle is fun to work with as she is very chatty and friendly. She poses beautifully and ensures the images are great before moving on.. she has a good selection of clothes in her heavy suitcase...

Hope she will tour to Exeter next time so I will have longer with her...

I had my second shoot with the very beautiful and brilliant Rachelle. This time we did an outdoor shoot on the South Wales beaches. Rachelle created some brilliantly dramatic poses and expressions despite a bitingly cold wind throughout the whole shoot. Rachelle was the ultimate professional in modelling so brilliantly in such conditions. We shot high fashion, fashion nude and nude and in all genres Rachelle excelled. We created some lovely dramatic and strong images against the beautiful backdrop of the South Wales coastline and I can't wait to work on them. Rachelle is also a lovely person, great fun to work with and collaborated amazingly in creating some wonderful images. Thank you so much Rachelle for a wonderful shoot - I'll try and arrange warmer weather next time!!!! Highly recommended to all photographers.

I have just had another stunning shoot with Rachelle at my home studio. We were hoping to get outside but the rain came down in torrents, but no problem, the ideas surged as they always do with Rachelle and we have some lovely images.

I enjoy our shoots as she is not only so very tallented - interpreting my ideas to perfection, but she is a delightful person to be with.

Excellent shoot with Rachelle last week. Pre-shoot communication was blessedly efficient, as was the shoot itself... we got an awful lot done in the day even though it felt like we were shooting at a very relaxed pace. It's a real treat to work with professional models who really "get it". Joceline very much appreciated how easy it was to tie Rachelle up, and I very much appreciated how little direction I had to give in order to get absolutely stunning poses. A real pleasure to work with.

This was the second shoot with Rachelle (the first having been a cold and rainy, candid headshot session on location which produced some excellent shots with varied and wonderful expressions) and this was on location at the coast aiming for nude in landscape images. Despite the beach being a dog walkers' favourite, we did manage to get several sequences in that worked really, splendidly well. Rachelle dealt with the slightly complex arrangements flawlessly and remained calm, collected and efficient. The biggest shock of the shoot was the discovery that linen shifts soak up cold sea-water very quickly and make for unexpectedly cold clothing! She was very successful at finding related sets of poses for these images with little more than a short chat about a theme or linkage and offered up excellent ideas with great body language. At one point we almost simultaneously concluded that 'Jump' should be the next pose! Whilst waiting and watching for gaps in the crowds, we discussed: elections, human psychology, etc., ate a little and traded odd anecdotes.

I have every intention of trying more of this sort of work with Rachelle and also hope to arrange a studio session sometime. I look forward to working together again. My recommendation is wholly and absolutely positive, she's a brave and talented model and muse.

Had a shoot with Rachelle yesterday at Yorkshire Studios, it was my first shoot with a model so was pretty nervous as I'm used to photographing weddings. Luckily the shoot was with such a skilled model as Rachelle.

She is a naturally stunning model with a great body.

Would definitely recommend Rachelle, wether your new to model photography shoots or a skilled pro, Rachelle is 'a must' to work with! Hopping to crack on with sorting through & editing the 570+ pics I took in the next few days 😀

Had my first outdoor location shoot and picked two top models to break my duck - Rachelle and Tillie. They get on like a house on fire - their expertise has given me some great images so far and I've still got more to edit. I was worried about the weather not being too good in the depths of the Yorkshire countryside but it didn't faze them even as it was an art nude shoot. The ideas flowed from both sides until the light went and it'd be good to have another shoot outside at some point but this time where I don't need to think of hand-warmers, wellies and places to thaw out...

The shoot certainly put a smile on the face of a jogger who I didn't see until it was too late ;-) Professional as ever, Rachelle and Tillie carried on with the poses.

Both models are highly recommended and can't wait for the next time - may just be able to squeeze in a set in Spain later in the year which will be more conducive to outdoor shooting...

I do have to caution you though: In this last session, I took 249 images and of those, 82 of them were portfolio worthy (with only minor adjustments). I've spent hours looking them over trying to decide which one's to post and in the end I just picked two at random.

If you book Rachelle, be prepared to have a similar experience - too many images to choose from. ;)

I must be going MAD, I did my last shoot with the fantastic Rachelle about 6 months ago, So why oh why have I left it till now to shoot her again. Rachelle has got tons and tons of great references, and some more eloquent than I could ever say about her. So I will sum up all the positive adjectives I could ever say about shooting with Rachelle, into a couple of short sentences. Rachelle is THE best model I have ever shot with. And if I only ever had one model to choose to work with again, it would be her. Highly Recommended
