Euphoric Images

I'm refreshing my portfolio notes as I haven't updated them for a while due to personal circumstances! 

A bit about me...

My background covers various careers in the forces, construction industry, teaching and self employment. I have been a keen photographer most of my life since since my first SLR, a Zenit E (remember those anyone?) and took some slides and images on a tour in Kenya way back in 1978. As with most things, life and family take over and the lack of darkroom skills meant I was limited to family prints and those of friends using my OM10. I took the plunge in to digital back in 2006 with my first Nikon updating to Olympus a couple of years ago. I currently work for a major historical tourist attraction in Kent where I also do some event photography for the marketing department.

What am I looking for..?

For my personal aspirations on here, I am looking for creative images in terms of lighting, composition and mood. I am also looking to capture images for use in compositions and in their own right. I am keen to create some images with a 'cosplay' theme as well as some artistic nudes and occasionally some more edgy erotic images, as one does!

I try to shoot to a budget and usually do 2- 3 hours on first booking a model to see how things go. I like to communicate my ideas beforehand so everyone is clear what type of images I am after. I am more than happy for models to offer their own ideas as part of the creative process. I always ask for a model release to be signed after a shoot.

I have recently upgraded my home studio with new lighting accessories and softboxes, but I am happy to shoot most places with artificial and natural light and my studio can travel!

I realise I have only 16 references, I hope the above explains why!
