Phil and I met when he contacted me to model for his local photography club that were to shoot in Far Forest studio. Pre communication was great and he was very polite and thoughtful, arranging to give me a lift to the studio from the train station as I was struggling to sort out transport.

What a lovely bunch of people the camera club is. It was an absolute pleasure working with them, sharing ideas and exploring the outdoors space of the studio. The group had to be really creative and organised due to the dying evening light, and the club leaders were efficient and supportive through the whole time.

I can't wait to see their work and hopefully work with Phil and the others again. They are very enthusiastic, passionate and positive, but also very considerate of any needs of the model and will always make sure you are comfortable and happy with the process.

I'd definitely recommend to any model, whether starting or professional.

What a day! An early start, a long drive and then I get chucked in a river! You'd have thought that after long time, no see, I'd be given an easier brief...but nope!

I'm only joking...sort of. We did have an early start, and I did end up in the river, but I was entirely enthusiastic about the whole jaunt! Phil is a wonderful photographer and gentleman, who showed nothing but the utmost respect and care to me throughout the entire experience. He picked me up from the train station the evening before, welcomed me into his home, let me stay the night and dropped me safely back at the train station afterwards.

Phil looked after me as we trekked to and from locations and sat in almost freezing water for shots. An utter gent who respected my every need at all times. I cannot thank him enough for the care and attention he showed me throughout and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anybody else.

Phil and Maxine make a great team and I instantly felt at ease. They chose a lovely location and their pre comms were excellent especially in helping me find the place and excusing my car troubles!

I had a lovely shoot and they even came with dresses! I can’t wait to shoot again :)

I worked with Phill and his partner Maxine yesterday, along with their camera club, for a shoot in the blue bell woods. I was very excited about the shoot because I imaged the shots would be very beautiful. The shoot was well organised from start to finish and each member of the club were all friendly and polite. I felt comfortable and at ease, the humour amongst the group made the shoot fun and very much enjoyable. I look forward to working with Phill, Maxine and anyone of the club again in the near future. Yesterday i worked with Phil and Maxine for the Camera club they run. This was my first time working with them and also with such a big amount of photographer (15 including them i think). I had spoke to Phil for a while on here trying to arrange a shoot, Due to my very busy work and home life at the moment Phil was very understanding that i may not always message back right away.

We managed to match up a time and date finally and Phil was very understanding and payed the very small deposit i ask for.

Phil and Maxine asked me to come a little early so they could pick up there cameras and have some time with me before the club got there, This for me was no problem at all and it was lovely to see them both working.

The group had big range of ages, backgrounds and levels of experience.Every single one of them were kind, welcoming and funny especially the woman group!

Maxine started by giving the group a talk which even i felt inspired by and also giving them pointers. Making sure every since person in the club was happy and ready to shoot.

Phil was telling them for movement images how to set their cameras, i really hope they learnt a lot from shooting with me and my dancing motion images.

I would definitely recommend Phil and Maxine either just working with them or the club as you will deffenatly feel like you arn't working. I look forward to hopefully working with them all again in the future.

p.s I left some of my clothes with them by accent and they were very willing for me to pop over to theirs so i could collect them.... I would lose my head if it wasn't attached.

Max and Phil booked me again this week for a pinup themed workshop for the Camera Club they organise.

As always it was an absolute delight to work with them and the club! Shooting with Max and Phil is like hanging out with old friends, they're always so welcoming and warm. Shoots with them are very funny and I probably spend as much time laughing as I do posing :)

The shoot was well organised and communication both before and during was brilliant. This meant that everything ran smoothly event with 3 models, 20ish photographers and a commercial location.

I would always recommend Phil and Max to absolutely anyone! If they ask you, say yes! You're guaranteed a fun and productive few hours (I won't even call it work as it doesn't feel like it).

I got to work Phil on a 1950s shoot. Phil was so lovely and the shoot was amazing. I loved every minute of it had lots of fun and he was a pleasure I would definitely recommend him. I hope to get to shoot together again l. Thanks again Elle x

I had my first shoot with Phil at a great location alongside 2 other photographers.

It was a last minute shoot so considering we did not have time to plan a lot for it we created some amazing images!

Phil has a brilliant sense of humour which makes the photoshoot so much more fun!

Great photographer and would love to shoot together again!

I had my first shoot with Flip and 2 other photographers yesterday. I had great pre communications and Location was beautiful though quite hard to find - I did manage to get there using detailed instructions that were previously sent to me. Everyone was very friendly and laid back and from what I've seen so far we've achieved some great shots! Recommend and look forward to working together again!

I had a great photoshoot with Phil and Maxine at the Guys cliffe house in Warwick last week. They are both very polite, professional and provided me with a transport from the train station to the location making sure I am not missing my train. The shoot was fun, relaxed on a beautiful outdoor location. Excellent communication and easy to work with. Looking forward to seeing the images and would happily work with Phil and Maxine again.

I was called to fill in at far forest with Phil and his club. He is a very friendly, cheerful kind of guy. Was very easy to work with. Had great fun on this last minute shoot. Really hope we can work together again as didn't get much time.

I worked with Phil again earlier this week when he attended a model workshop of mine hosted by @farforeststudio.

Shoots with Phil are always a lot of fun and the group shoot was no exception. He had me laughing throughout, which helped make the day fly by. Phil was kind, helpful and communicative with everyone attending the workshop.

He was kind enough to share his finished images from the shoot and they are really lovely!

I hope to work with Phil again soon and would recommend him to other models without hesitation.

Far Forest Studio

We were pleased to welcome Phil here for his first working visit with the lovely Rosie.

He is everything you would expect in a photographer. Professional, polite, respectful and most of all fun, behind, as well as away from the camera.

If you enjoy having a laugh on a shoot, generating great photographs and partaking in humourous off the wall conversations then Phil is definitely the one for you.

Highly recommended to any studio or model and we hope it wont be too long before he visits us again

I had yet another thoroughly enjoyable shoot today with Phil and Max. We get on so well and last week's shoot was our biggest adventure yet! Phil and Max had scoped out an amazing location, and the sizeable drive and hike to and from it flew by as it's just like being with old friends.

Homicidal sheep and threatening rain clouds aside the shoot went really well and the resulting images are beautiful and just as dramatic and Wuthering-Heights-esque as promised.

I'd recommend Phil and max to everyone and I hope to shoot with them again soon. Thanks guys :D

I had a lovely hours shooting with Phil & Maxine at Sandon Studio, and found them both to be extremely friendly, professional, considerate and fun to work with. As a photography duo, they were very easy going, checking I was okay, helping each other out with ideas, keeping the banter flowing, engaging with me and giving great feedback. The edited images are very beautiful!

I would happily work with them again and recommend them to others!

I had the pleasure of working with Flip and his wife Maxine at my studio event at Sandon Studio in April. They are both really friendly and easy-going, communicating their ideas well with me as well as asking for my input and ideas. I felt comfortable and involved in the shoot throughout.

Both of them worked hard individually and worked well together and with me as a model to create interesting and unique images and get the best out of our time working together. Flip and Maxine are both friendly people who have light-hearted personalities and a good sense of humour.

I really enjoyed the shoot, and only wish that it hadn't been so brief.

I worked with Phil and Max again on Wednesday and as always it was a thoroughly entertaining experience. The theme was Phil's brain-child and worked brilliantly, especially with the host of props him and Max had put together (including Chris ... joking of course! ;) ). It was freezing but time flew by, and Phil was kind enough to treat us to some warming soup (hold the coriander) and ale. The images I've seen so far are brilliant and different. Shoots with these 2 are not only productive, but also a truly lovely way to spend an afternoon! Thanks again Phil and Max :)
