Was a pleasure to work with Phil and his better half on an amazing shoot in the woods. It was a red riding hood theme and the scenery direction and photos are all amazing.... it was a pleasure to work with them both and to work with rosie who has shot with them many times previously. It was a freezing cold day but the banter and atmosphere made the day special..... I would definitely recommend

I was able to be one of three models for a club shoot yesterday, which was very enjoyable to be able to be part of.

Communication prior to the shoot was good, wit understanding the type of atmosphere, and way in which the shoot would take place. which was good for making me feel at ease with what was to expected.

arriving early I was made to feel extremely welcome by all of the members I met, and got a good feeling for how the night would work and how the club itself is run.

Everyone is Lovely.

I would defo feel happy to shoot with them all again, and would recommend other models to feel 100% comfortable.

Drinks and snacks were also offer throughout the shoot, with everyone checking I was okay and if there was anything that I wanted or needed.

Tuesday November 15th saw me working for the first time with Flip who - together with Maxine and Richard - brought the massed forces of Hagley Camera Club and three models together for a studio shoot in a church hall in Wordsley near Stourbridge, and ran the evening in such a way as to make the experience hugely rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable.

Flip and Max advised and guided to help the participants get what they wanted from the event, and knew how to communicate with models and photographers both to help everyone make great pictures with picture perfect lighting, framing and capturing.

I'd love to work with Flip and Max again and would urge others thinking of doing the same to make the most of any opportunity that comes your way.

I joined Phil and Maxine and their photography club for the second time yesterday. This time we were shooting at a beautiful old railway station in Bridgnorth in retro gear, which was great fun! Phil and Maxine were very understanding when my original train was cancelled, and still picked me up from the station and were lovely company. I can't recommend either of them enough - both very trusted photographers.

I was so pleased to be asked to model for Phil and Maxine's camera club for a second time.

Phil and Maxine are absolutely wonderful to work with, and the camera club was as warm and lovely as I remembered. There were a few new members that attended on Tuesday, and they were also welcomed with open arms.

The group decided to split and work in two separate locations, as there were two models. Shooting with Phil is always an experience! He is a big character and such fun to work with; very friendly and very very funny. He is also obviously a very knowledgeable, experienced photographer and is on hand to help the other members with technical issues should they arise. Shooting with the camera club never feels like work; the banter ensures that i'm in stitches between shots (and occasionally in them). I was also able to join them for their famous post-club drink which was lovely (and an education... I'll never think of Shrove-Tuesday the same way again!)

I'd recommend Phil and Max to anyone and assure you you'll have a wonderful and completely bonkers time!

Phil and Maxine are such a joy to work with, it was 32 degrees, we was all so hot, bothered and a little dazed but we did our best with it and I had bundles of fun. They are high spirited, accommodating with ice cold beverages and very kind people and went far to ensure I was home safe. They have a clear professional eye for photography and an expertise working with lighting. They have a good eye for stunning locations and their passion is lovely to be around. Their work and images speak volumes. If they are happy with my results it would be a pleasure to work with them again.

Ive worked with Phil many times over the past probably 6 years! (god!)

Hes always coming up with these awesome ideas and I cant get enough of them! Hes great to shoot with and bounce ideas off, hes always so polite and a massive gent.

Always love shooting with him and cant recommend him enough.

I have had numerous shoot with Phil and Maxine now, this time I had the pleasure of working with Phil alone! He had this amazing location in mind however he made me get up at ridiculous time! ;P

He picked me up from my home and off we went driving off to wales somewhere to this stunning place. We had to be fairly quick shooting there before people woke up and found us wandering around but we stopped at other places on the way back too and I must say I had so much fun!

Phil is a great guy, lots of fun to work with but also a complete professional and just a great guy!

Cant wait for the next random email about a mad idea he has :D

I had a one on one shoot with Phil after having worked with him at a group evening. Such a good shoot even if it was pouring with rain..again ;p we found shelter in a lovely loication and got some incredibly beautiful pictures. I absolutely love Phil's sense of humour. This was my first time working with Phil and Maxine and they were both great! The photoshoot was a group shoot for the camera club in a poppy field. Unfortunately the weather was awful so we couldn't spend much time taking pictures. Regardless of how short the shoot was Phil and Maxine very kindly paid me in full. Phil is very funny, chatty and optimistic about non rain ;p Maxine is very caring and thoughtful and made sure I was OK. The members of the club were great and I'd definitely shoot again with them. Thank you for both being so welcoming and friendly :)

I worked with Phil and Maxine for the first time yesterday after chatting with Phil for a while. I'm so glad our diaries finally matched up! I was asked to model for the camera club they work with and it was a delight from start to finish. The group consists of a huge range of ages, backgrounds and levels of experience; yet they were all so kind, welcoming and funny! There's a lovely camaraderie between them all and I love that they all have (often-times bonkers) nicknames. I honestly had so much fun it didn't seem like work at all!

Phil is (i'm sure he'll agree) beyond cheeky and very, very funny. Most of my efforts for the evening were concentrated on actually modelling and not descending into giggles (I wasn't always successful). Maxine is absolutely lovely and so easy to talk to. I may have talked her ear off on the journey home (haha)

They're both incredibly accommodating and thoughtful; I experienced this first hand but it can also be seen in the efforts they go to to ensure every single person who attends the events is happy, comfortable and safe. They're also, it goes without saying, talented photographers and I love the images they've been kind enough to share.

I would recommend them to everyone and look forward to working with them, and the club again soon :) Thank you so much for having me! :D

I met Phil and Maxine yesterday for a shoot that I had been excited about for a long time. They were both welcoming, easy to get along with and knew what they wanted from the shoot. They also had a couple of dresses with them which they were happy for me to try on and use. I had a lovely time with lots and laughs and plenty of photos making the most of the different areas of the location - I look forward to seeing the images!

I worked as a model at a photographer's club night where Phil was helping to coordinate the evening, and I had a really lovely time. I was well looked after by Phil and Maxine, especially when some stormy weather was making it difficult for me to get there, they were both so understanding and accommodating, and ensured that I got home safely afterwards. Everyone at the club was really friendly and appreciative of the models there and made the evening fly by. I was also given a constant supply of tea, coffee, and lovely conversation with photographers of varying backgrounds and levels of experience. I would love to do one of their club nights again, really couldn't fault it.

Had my first experience of being a model for a camera club shoot last night with Phil and Maxine.

I was a little nervous as a new model, but they made me feel completely at ease and made sure I was involved in the evening (even if my hair didn't quite fit in with the vintage theme)

Had a great time and found the whole experience very enlightening and helpful towards my hopefully successful future as a model. Thank you for the invite

Great shoot last night at the severn valley railway with Phil and Maxine.

Even though it was a group shoot for a camera club , which can sometimes be stressful , the entire evening was well organized, relaxed , imaginative , sociable and fun. Always a pleasure :)

Worked with Phil and Maxine for the third time this week (second time for Hagley Camera Club) and what a lovely group. Very friendly, funny and down to earth, all easy to get on with. The Group are always welcoming and are open to new/wacky poses and ideas. The images I have seen from the shoots are always beautiful taken and I strongly approve of them! I highly recommend Phil and Maxine as not only are they great people, they are great photographers too.

I worked with Phil yesterday for Hagley Camera Clubs weekly session, this one was all about lighting. Pre-Comms were good & he even came to pick me up and drop me home. Upon meeting phil he made me feel comfortable straight away and there was no covering up about the evening i was going to have. Most of the photographers were still learning and phil was sure to make me aware of this. Maxine was lovely too!

I would work with them both again!

I has the pleasure of working with Phil and his partner Maxine today on a bridal themed Shoot at Hartlebury Castle.

Phil was so easy to get along with and made everyone feel at ease. His bubbly, enthusiastic personality helps capture amazing images and I can't wait to see the final images from today's shoot.

I would definitely recommend Phil and hope I get to work with him again in the future.

A photographer is someone who is Professional, Passionate, fun, and has a good eye for detail and how an image is going to look before its even put on the computer. Phil and Maxine have that gift. I have worked with other togs that don't have a clue or any ideas of lighting, obstructions in the image, camera angle or even how the final image will look on camera and i find that type of tog always thinks there amazing... BUT ALAS NOT Phil and Maxine there work speaks volumes and shows just how skilled and professional they are. If you wish to learn a thing or to or shoot with an amazing group of individuals then i do recommend them highly. Great Shoot once again and a great knowledge and professionalism.

Have worked with Phlip on a couple of occasions. Despite the slight lack of planning due to impulsive arrangements, we got some cool photos! Phlip and Maxine were very enthusiastic, the love for photography is clear to see. Highly recommended.
