Hello!  Thank you for dropping by, hope something catches your eye :) 

About me:

• As well as modelling experience, I have nearly 20 years acting experience both on stage and screen
• I'm always open to direction and love bouncing ideas off people
• I'm pretty laid back and like to think I decent sense of humour, which always helps- I think you can produce much better images if you're relaxed with the person you're working with
• I don't drive but I'm happy to travel to shoot within reason

Tattoos and Piercings:

I have my ear lobes pierced once and I have a small tattoo on my left hip reading "Non nova sed nove" (it means "not new, but in a new way", in case you were wondering).  I also now have a small scar just below my belly button from a laparoscopy.  

Please note:

I happily work up to art/implied nude in studios/locations that are private.  I also occasionally shoot nude, but not very often and only with a few select people whom I know very well.  Please don't be offended if I won't shoot nude with you; I have been diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder [link removed] and can suffer quite badly, resulting in a major loss of confidence.  That said; I will not be pressured into pushing my levels during a shoot.  Pushing me will only result in a shoot ending there and then.

Also:

I have a history of mental health issues, including self harm, and have (admittedly faint) scars on both of my forearms and the tops of my legs from old self harm.  These are old scars, nothing fresh, nothing new, but I make a point of asking people to not edit them out in post production.  

I'm a mental health awareness and rights activist in my spare time, and I don't believe that evidence of self harm should be hidden in any profession -least of all, one that will influence young people.  The stigma of mental health needs to be reduced, allowing more sufferers to come forward and seek the help and treatment they need and are entitled to. If anyone insists upon editing out my scars, I'm not interested in working with them.  

Availability:

I currently work in primary education so I'm currently limited to evenings, weekends and school holidays.  Feel free to ask about prospective shoot dates and I'll get back to you as soon as work allows (lesson planning can take ages!).
