Myk G made my good shoot into a great shoot. A friendly happy smiley face that just oozed great ideas, help and suggestions. With a wealth of knowledge to draw upon Myk took my amateur shots up a notch and I came away with some fab images.

The studio has a large array of possible shoots due to the number of sets and props which brought variety and options to the day.

The station is only a few minutes away an Myk very kindly ferried models too and from which maximised my time.

When you visit the studio, build a bit of extra time in either before or after as there is a carribean cook house down stairs that will delight the taste buds. Try the swordfish fritters.

Electric Nymph

I had a fantastic shoot with Maurice. It was meant to be a duo shoot with my partner but she as injured her hand so it ended up being a solo shoot. Myself and Maurice came up with many different ideas experimenting with light. He had a variety of props available and a nice warm studio. Mauroca is a great and natural photographer as well as being very easy to talk to. We have already started planning our next shoot!

As always, it's a total pleasure to work in Myk's studio. There's a wide variety of props, backdrops & lighting available. The studio's best asset is Myk himself. A great host who will support to whatever level you want or totally leave you alone. Absolutely recommended, that's why go back time after time. Now about the singing .......

went to visit the stunning mykg studio a few days ago with dan, and what a beautiful place I had no ida what to except but on arrival myk forgot who I was hahahaha but I waked in and suddenly was hit with a beautiful gust of warmth, the studio was so warm and coney, myk was a fantastic host with his beautiful singing. HA!

I had a wonderful time here with many different areas and setups to shoot,

highly highly recommended, already planning my next trip back.Thanks

I worked with Myk at the fantastic Upper Mills Studio in Gloucester and had such a lovely shoot! It was our first time working together so I am always a little nervous, but from the get go Myk was extremely kind, professional and very respectful.

I loved his down to earth personality & he was so kind and encouraging that when you shoot with Myk you feel like a million dollars (or should that be a million pounds! :P ) Myk is a lovely person and the photographs are gorgeous which he was very kind to share with me. I would absolutely love to work together again and look forward to the next shoot! Highly recommended to all, Helen x

I've led workshops at Myk's place, and done shoots for models there. I think today was the first time that I've simply booked hte studio to take my own pictures there.

As ever, Myk was the perfect host - laid back but interested, ultimately experienced as a photographer, and always looking ofr something new.

But I learned one good lesson today. The best amplifiers may go all the way up to 11, but Myk's lights should not go beyond 4... Sorry, Myk!

(P.S. 4 is entirely high enough to get the shots, of course!)

I used Myk studio again today to shoot with my model Tori, Its a great studio to shoot at, loads of different areas to shoot, loads of props and lights, and I cant fault the owner Maurice ( Mick ),

a real pleasure to be around and work with, Loves his job and loves to show and help others if they require help,

Drinks were provided throughout the shoot and heating was supplied so my model did not freeze,

Mick is a great professional as an owner and a photographer and would recommend him and his studio to everyone that will look after and respect it

His help in setting up all the lighting whether Im on one of my studio days or on a private shoot or any other shoot there is faultless and will help you to get the very best out of all the images taken there .. Shot with Myk once again not so long back, I had ruined my hair the night before yet we managed to stick to the initial shoot plan, and smash out some different looks, Myk was full of ideas, has one of, (if not the best), studio in the Midlands, props, backdrops, anything you can imagine to set the scene to create a variety of images. Again, something totally differnt to what i shot last time, an all round slpendid day. Myk is such a pleasure to work with i cannot speak highly enough of him. 100% Recommended, to any tog looking for a decent studio or any model considering a shoot. I'm sure we will be shooting again, during 2019. x

Had my first shoot with the amazing Myk G yesterday, pre-shoot comms were great and despite we didn’t initialise a plan as such, Myk was full of ideas from the get go, that triggered my creative juices also and we’ve planned a few more shoots later this year already. Myk is a pleasure to work with, and a pleasure to be around, chatty, friendly, but keeps a professional demeanour throughout and puts you at complete ease. I can’t speak highly enough of him. I first meet myk when I attended his beautiful studio while I was on another shoot.. and what can I say we hit it off right away so decided to work together.. im normally extremely fussy with photos off my self but omg I love them all and myk is soo good at what he does as well as welcoming and very professional.. I cant wait for next time!!

This was the second time I had shot at Myk Photographic Studios, I had an amazing shoot.

The studio layout is great, with a variety of different sets, including a bath and also a pole.

Myk is a lovely person! He also gave me permission for the TV crew following me to film parts of my shoot at his studio, and was more than willing to be involved in the filming also.

I'd definitely recommend Myk Studios and also Myk as a photographer!
