After admiring Mikes work since back when I first joined PP, I was super chuffed to finally get something in the diary.

Mike was really lovely and easy to get on with, funny, and professional. I was made to feel very welcome and was given lots of tea and offered something to eat, I felt well looked after!

He was armed with a Pinterest board at the ready, has a very good eye for detail and full of creative ideas. The images I saw on the back of the camera looked awesome! I'm really excited to see the finished results.

Would'nt hesitate to work with Mike again, definately work with him if you get the chance, highly recommended!

Mike, was very knowledgeable, informative and shown the whole group some really great hints and tips for a successful shoot it was a creative studio lighting and Photoshop course on Saturday(2 weeks ago).

We were shown a good variety of innovative lighting set ups, Angel was our model 2nd time I personally got to work her she is also very professional and knows her stuff. Mike also shared a lot of knowledge about Photoshop which helped to brush up on skills I hadn't taken advantage of for a while.

Mike has a very approachable manner, leading his workshops which meant that we all worked well together.

Mike ran an excellent studio lighting and Photoshop course on Saturday. We were shown a good variety of more innovative lighting set ups, and Angel was an excellent model to work with on these. He also shared a lot of knowledge about Photoshop.

Mike has a relaxed way of leading his workshops which meant that the participants worked well together. Definitely recommended.

Yesterday i attended one of Mikes lighting workshops At Scarlet Door. The course was very well put together, well paced and easy enough for even me to understand. Mike relates well to his photographers and is easy going yet very effectively gets his message across. I would certainly recommend his lighting courses to photographers of all levels.

Even the biscuits were great. But to be fair i don't think i was meant to be eating his biscuits :)

Last week I attended one of Mike's studio days, and it was awesome. I learned so much, Mike is an incredibly gifted and patient teacher, and it was an absolute joy to be taught by him. I thoroughly recommend booking a studio day with this man, he is awesome!

Mike kindly took me up on a last minute arranged shoot due to a cancellation, I’m so glad he did

He picked me up from the station and helped me with my mahoosive suitcases, which is always a good start!

We didn’t have any real plan at the start of the day except the portraits we both wanted to do and also something with coloured gels. The shoot was laid back yet extremely productive, each set was tweaked to get the very best images we could. His understanding of light is just fantastic and his direction is spot on.

Overall it was a very effective collaboration with a lovely person, good banter, good company Andy amazing images!

Hope to work with him again on my next tour :)

Mike's images have a beautiful style that I have enjoyed for some months. It was a great pleasure that he was able to come over and join Zoe Page and I for a fun 4 hours in the studio. As always the time is never enough and I look forward Mike coming over again to spend some more time editing. It is always a pleasure to spend time with a passionate photographer and Mike is certainly that. Highly recommended.

Being new to photography was not a problem as mike explained everything at a pace that a newb like me could understand.The photoshop tuition was also great as i am also fairly new to this as well. He's great to work with, easy to talk to and certainly knows what he is doing lighting wise and all the other cool technical stuff :D

I had a really great day at Mike's Creative Lighting Course. It was very informative and well run. He explained each of the lighting set-ups as we went along thoroughly but briefly enough that it wasn't tedious. I felt we all had ample time to get shots and no one was rushed to finish their turn. He gave us a lot of information and was very open to providing feedback and answering questions. The photoshop at the end was useful too, definitely lots of tips and tricks there.

Along with being a good instructor, he's a nice guy and I enjoyed the day. Thanks Mike!

1) It built upon complexity going through 6-7 different setups

2) Gave us options and information for getting great results in small spaces

3) All the information was well communicated

4) Was great fun to do

5) Great choice of model!

6) Got loads of choices for my portfolio!

Great shoot with Mike on an Amazing Masterclass Lighting Workshop with Angel.

Great workshop, demonstrating lighting, different set-ups and useful 2 hours on postprocessing to finish. Hope to go back on another course.

With five other eager photographers I attended a studio lighting workshop at Scarlet Door studio with Mike in the driving seat. Everything was explained in language that we understood and Mike's patience was tested but never broken as me or someone else said 'no, could you say that again'!

We worked through a number of lighting set ups and Mike showed us how do build an image by making adjustments until we achieved the image that we were seeking.

His patience too when explaining photoshop skills was priceless and I left the place with renewed confidence in using a studio.

Mike ran a course yesterday and in all honesty I dont get much time to myself with my own business but yesterday I thought why not and it was a lovely days photography, Mike is a really nice guy, he knows his stuff and we had a cracking shoot, thanks for the efforts Mike it was appreciated and I will look forward to another shoot with you. I attended the Advanced Studio Lighting Course organised by Mike Croshaw (Modelography) at Roois place in Bristol on Sunday 11 Nov. The course was well run and each lighting setup was explained clearly with time allowed to capture images. Mike organised a great model (Colleen Deary) for us to shoot and the day was thoroughly enjoyable as well as being informative. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mikes courses for any level of photographer.

I attended Mike's Advanced Studio Lighting workshop yesterday and had a great time in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Mike explained and demonstrated a wide range of lighting setups and provided plenty of time for each photographer to take shots.

Mike took care to ensure that each photographer was happy with the current setup and explanation before moving on to the next and encouraged questions. The pace of the day was just right and we managed to pack a lot of setups in.

He finished the day with a demonstration of his post-processing work flow in Lightroom and Photoshop on some of the pictures taken in the day.

I would highly recommend attending one of Mike's workshops and will be looking out for more to attend in the future for myself.
