This was my first ever time in a studio as well as being fairly new to portrait photography.

I had booked a Hollywood themed group shoot with Mel.

There was a group chat created before the shoot that Mel used to share ideas of what she wanted to achieve.

The night was well planned, Mel had several outfits for the evening and a selection of props too.

Mel really helped put me at ease and was great to work with. She naturally knows how to pose, but also responds well with direction too.

She kept in touch after the shoot and gave really positive feedback on my images, which also helped with my confidence.

I am really looking forward to working with Mel again in April and will definitely look to do more shoots with her.

I highly recommend Mel as a model.

This was my third studio shoot with Melanie and was as every great.

Mel is so easy to get on with and does not need any direction and is open to ideas.

This was a Xmas pin up shoot and the costumes and props were spot on as normal with lighting set up from Paul at f8 studio.

If you have never worked with Mel before you are missing out on a treat.

Cant wait for next year to get some more sessions booked in.

Shot with Melanie for the first time at a Pin Up group shoot in Gloucester. I have been trying to get to work with her since before the pandemic started and at last I have.

Her outfits were superb, makeup and hair perfect and she naturally slips from one pose into the next and needs very little direction, if any.

Melanie is very professional model but very approachable and comms since, regarding another shoot have been first class. I can’t rate the experience highly enough and am so looking forward to working with Melanie again next year, probably on location.

I can highly recommend…

Had another fun shoot with Mel In Bourton-On-The -Water at a studio there. We had a fun time shooting Femme Fatale theme. Its always a blast with Mel, she's got a great personality and is so easy to shoot with as she's friendly and professional and just a joy to work with.

I definitely recommend Mel to anyone, as she is easy to got on and work with and a lot of fun to.

Hope to do it again in the New year.

My first location shoot with Mel today was at Batsford Arboretum and we enjoyed good weather. She is a pleasure to work with, being happy to do as I asked and introducing ideas of her own. Melanie was great to work with and it was a fun shoot.

She put up with my obsession for Portraits and we managed to get some really nice pictures.

I would easily work with Melanie again. She was fun and the 3 hours went by so quick.

When I arrived to meet Melanie for our planned retro shoot in a Cotswold village it started to rain, threatening to put a damper on things, a quick chat with Melanie saw us head off to Broadway, another village fifteen minutes drive away, where we were greeted by clear skies! Our shoot proceeded up one side of the main street and down the other. Melanie is a beautiful young lady so I'm WELL pleased with our resulting images! She's relaxed, chatty and absolutely FULL of ideas for a shoot such as ours. Thanks again Melanie for a cracking time and all of your input, the time FLEW by again!

I had a fun shoot with Mel at F/8 studio in Gloucester on Saturday.

Mel was a compleat joy to work with, and we hope to arrange another shoot in the near future.

She was full of fun and very easy to work with. Added to that she has a fantastic look.

Highly recommended.

We got some nice pictures from the shoot, unfortunately the time went too quick.

Vintage Photography

My 4th shoot with Mel, this time at F/8 studio. Mel had just finished a 3 hour group shoot, but was as fresh as a daisy when we started. Great communication beforehand, and Mel brought all we agreed, despite only just having moved house.

Mel is very bubbly and friendly, and she poses freely making it so easy for me. Our 2 hours went very quickly, which is always a good sign, but we managed to get through all we had planned and more. Mel has some dresses and lingerie, and her legs look great in stockings and heels.

Really enjoyed our latest shoot, thanks again Mel.

LOT, so I jumped at the chance, even though I broke my self imposed rule of no group shoots to do so, as always Melanie was relaxed, stylish and brimming with ideas, experienced or novice I SERIOUSLY recommend anyone to work with Melanie.

100% recommended and I can't wait until our Cotswold village retro shoot later this week.

This was my second shoot with Melanie, we'd relaxed, chatted and generally got to know each other on our first shoot, on location. This time Melanie introduced me to Paul at f/8 studios in Gloucester. Mel is a VERY experienced model, with a fantastic array of outfits, she's also very discerning with her feedback, regularly checking the back of camera and making some very constructive

suggestions which decidedly improved the quality of my images through the course of our 4 hours together, combined with Pauls input about the white balance on my camera I'm VERY HAPPY with the results. We have another two shoots booked together over the coming weeks and I can't wait!! Thanks again Melanie for all your help AND a fantastic day out in good company. 100% recommended for all togs, Melanie's comments will encourage and inspire you to improve your ability.

Once more I got to shoot with Mel, originally planned for another location but without missing a beat Mel came up trump's with another great location.

Mel is always fun to work with having done a few shoots together now shoots are always relaxed and we have developed our our own rythm.

Apart from gathering more great photos I was planning to practice lighting techniques and with such a picturesque location it worked a treat, I have had a preliminary look at the photos after the shoot and very happy with a successful shoot,

Definitely recommend working with Mel, shoots are always relaxed and you can be sure of a lovely haul of photos.

It was great to see, and work with Mel again after what seems like an eternity since we last got together! We had previously decided on some ‘Femme Fatale’ style sets - a style I don’t think Mel had tried before, but she delivered superbly! We have tried several different styles and genres in our shoots together, and Mel always puts her heart and soul into making sure I get the picture I’m looking for! I wonder what we will come up with for our next collaboration? 🙂

Vintage Photography

My third shoot with Mel, this time on 2 locations on a very hot and sunny day. Mel arrived on time and ready to start, her outfit was perfect for the shoot and she had found a nice location to start with. Vintage dress in a 'vintage' Cotswolds village. Despite the sun we found some nice spots with some shade and I got the photos I had in mind. We them moved to a lavender field with vibrant colours including a wild flower area. Again Mel posed with little input from me, and we got some lovely images.

Mel is very friendly, brings plenty of ideas and is very easy and flexible to work with. Her pre-shoot communication is first class, and I really enjoyed our shoot. I will certainly work with Mel again.

This was my first shoot with Melanie. Melanie has been on my bucket list of model that I wanted to shoot with for some time so when she posted a casting call to shoot at a lavender farm I jumped at the chance. Pre shoot comms were very good, these can often be difficult for me due to the nature of my employment.

Mel is a very experienced and accomplished model who chooses poses very well, we roamed the fields and got a great range of shots in our 3hour slot. The weather was kind we both got sun burnt!

I am already thinking of other shoots we could do in the future, maybe next time in a studio?

I would definitely recommend Melanie to anyone.

I recently managed to grab another shoot with this excellent model, as always, a pleasure to work with, shooting in a new location for me but Mel has visited previously and was able to help me get the best out of the day, nothing was a problem for her and overall I collected a set of photos that I'm very proud of, I would recommend working with Mel at least once, she is a talented professional and also an all round lovely person.

This was my first shoot with Melanie and it definitely won't be the last!

Melanie is a very professional model who knows what she wants from a shoot but she's also a relaxed and chilled young lady who enjoys her work. As I usually do for a first shoot I let Melanie set the tone/pace and style while we got to know each other. She in turn made it a fun, learning shoot for me. Thank you for a cracking afternoon in great company Melanie.

DEFINITELY recommended to all togs, I will be seeing Melanie again, soon I hope

I had another outdoor shoot with Mel on Wednesday, it was meant to be a poppy field shoot but hadn’t managed to find a field, so Mel suggested Blockley. When looking at various Google church photos I realised that here was where Father Brown was filmed… I was quite excited by this location. Mel turned up on time after being stuck in traffic! The location is a beautiful place to shoot, we got loads of great images. Then Mel had some great news from her hubby that he had found a large poppy field. So I walked my legs off to grab a quick coffee for us both, much needed to get back to the car and zoom off to the very close poppy field to finish off our shoot time. I hadn’t realised how spiky poppy plants are, Mel had lots of scratches on her legs and bare arms, such a dedicated model. Altogether it was a fabulous shoot, I thoroughly enjoyed it but was absolutely worn out such that I had to go to the local eatery - Charlotte’s Cafe - after dropping Mel back home.

So two recommendations one for the lovely Mel and the other for Charlotte’s Cafe :D Thank you again Mel for a great fun, enjoyable shoot… highly recommended.
