Mel Mel Mel what can be said about Mel. Well she is a regular at our studio and is always on time and happy to try out new ideas. She recently has gone out of her comfort zone and has done 2 rockstar photoshoots with smokes and stroke lighting all round her. Too say she did well would be an understatement... she ROCKED IT! She is always up for shooting at our studio and gets involved in our banter which can be abit Boyish. Highly recommend and hopefully work with her again soon. Thanks Mel #nomorepinup

Had another shoot with Melanie a couple of weeks ago and even though the weather TOTALLY let us down, It was cold, wet and overcast, but Mel really got stuck into it, tried a few experimental Infrared shots to start with then moved in to 'normal' shooting and considering the circumstances I am very happy with the shots that arose from it.

It's not weather that would encourage location shooting but all thanks to her we made the best if it, I can't recommend Mel highly enough. Always enjoy working with her. Here's to the next shoot!

Melanie was booked for a 1:1 studio lighting workshop with one of her fellow photographers Stephen. As much as we have done group shoots together this was the first time doing a workshop. Melanie was on time, happy for Stephen to try ideas, give a great positive approach to shooting so Steve felt relaxed. We have another group shoot booked together we are looking forward to.

Last night we tried something new with Melanie, which was a rockstar group shoot. I have worked with Melanie on multiple group shoot and this one has suddenly become our favourite. After getting used to posing with a guitar she was on FIRE! everyone already has said how amazing the evening was and already wanting to organise another one. Highly recommend!

Managed to fit in a third shoot with Mel before Christmas and as ever she was a breeze to work with. As usual communication beforehand was spot on, everyone was clear about what the goal was. Mel arrived well prepared so we could flow straight into shooting, in general I collected all the shots I was looking for, I have an ambition to shoot some Hollywood style portraits. The theme for the shoot was Pinup, but Mel happily swapped looks to try out a few generic setups. absolutely delighted with the shots collected. I could work with her on a daily basis and if the world will stop being insane, I plan to create more art with her. definitely advise you to work with this lovely lady when you have the chance!

Had my long-awaited first shoot with Melanie today, and it was so worth the wait.

Melanie’s pre coms were superb - I felt we were friends before we met.

The shoot itself was amazing - the 4 hours just flew by and I would have loved another 4 hours ( and that will definitely happen another day). We created many beautiful images of very different styles, and had lots of fun achieving them. Melanie made it a fantastic 4 hours as she is so easy to work with and a lovely person. Totally professional throughout, I came away very happy with the amount of stunning images.

Melanie, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and I am so happy with our beautiful images.

I once again had the pleasure of shooting with Melanie. Just as before, it was a joy to be part of this shoot. Melanie is always professional and fun, we had a great night and I got some fantastic photos. I have already booked my next shoot with her and if that isn't a recommendation, then I dont know what is.

Melanie's great to shoot with - experienced and chooses poses very well. I shot remotely as part of a group shoot which can be un-nerving for models as I give direction from a video window on a laptop screen and I'm unable to move the camera to recompose, but Melanie handled it well and worked with me to keep shots in frame and make the most of the backdrops and the available camera view.

Pre shoot communication was spot on, ideas being shared in a professional but fun manner.

The shoot itself was also professional and fun. Melanie poses naturally and takes direction well when necessary (which isn't often).

Just finished another really enjoyable location shoot with Mel just ahead of the second national lockdown. I was extremely grateful to Mel for agreeing to come out on a cold and dark evening so that I could experiment with lighting techniques for cinematic portraits. As usual, Mel was chatty, helpful and highly professional. I thoroughly enjoy working with Mel and will be looking for an early opportunity to work together again. I am happy to recommend her highly to any photographers.

Just finished my second shoot with Mel, and it was just as good as the first. This shoot was arranged very short notice after the second lockdown was announced, and I wanted to get a shoot in before lockdown kicked in. I approached Mel with about 18 hours notice but within 3 hours we had arranged shoot styles, outfits etc for the shoot, and Mel fully understood what I was looking for. The next day Mel arrived on time to the studio, and had a suitcase full of suitable outfits. Mel was ready to go within minutes and basically hit the ground running.

I was trying Gels for the first time on this shoot, and Mel provided some very useful insight and ideas, which really set the tone for the shoot and ensured it was a success.

Mel needs little direction, but can easily follow it if your after a specific look. Mels a great person to shoot with and to chat too, and has a great sense of humour, and even put up with my singing.

I will be shooting with Mel again, despite the 2.5 hour journey for me to get to her area. I 100% recommend Mel to anyone.

What a thoroughly pleasant and fun experience working with Mel during a location shoot at Lower Slaughter today. From the outset, the comms with Mel were good and we shared lots of ideas for the shoot ahead of the day. Chatty, knowledgable and 100% professional, Mel was an absolute delight to spend time with - I know we'll have captured some super images. I can't wait to work together again very soon. Managed to grab a second shoot with Mel on Sunday on a day out in Broadway, with Autumn really in full colour bloom now it really was a pretty little place for a photo walk.

being the second shoot with Mel it was always going to be a little more relaxed, and Mel being the great person she is showed me where the good places in town were to shoot, places that were good for different types of shots, which helped me out so much as this was my first time in Broadway, Mel is so easy to work with, conversation flows so easily and this felt just like a walk out in town, with the bonus of a load of great shots to show for it! I would recommend Mel to anyone without a thought, for all the reasons above, her experience shines through, already got more ideas for another shoot with her, just hope we can organise something soon. I had a wonderful day working with Melanie both on location and then onto the studio. As always Mel was 100% professional, adaptable and willing to try something new. We worked on a Vintage poster image and from the outset Mel was willing to try a new style, even practicing Hairstyles before the shoot so that she got it right. I have no problem in recommending Melanie to fellow photographers and I look forward to shooting with her again.

Melanie was fantastic to work with. Her experience of modelling really showed and she understood exactly what poses and looks were required, even though it was a different genre than her standard. Melanie is very approachable and friendly but also professional and clear with all communication. She offered great suggestions and advice and really contributed to the shoot both technically and to the great atmosphere that on set. I'm very much looking forward to shooting together again if the opportunity arises.

2nd location shoot with Mel, this time around the lovely cotswold town of Bourton-On-The Water. Its a great location to shoot with the beautiful cotswold stone and the bridges across the river make some great locations. With the tree turning some lovely colours and Mel's great Autumn dress we got some great shoots in many locations around the town. The sun did shine but the wind was a bit fierce at times which caused a few problems for Mel and a few laughs. We just made it back to my car when I really heavy shower came.

I would recommend Mel to anybody, she's bright, bubbly and beautiful and is simply a great model who's fun to be with and always professional.
