References for Melanie Bond (Butler)

I had my first shoot with Melanie just over 2 weeks ago... sorry for my delay in doing a reference. We decided on a simple fashion and casual outfits for the 2 locations - at a Lavender field and Broadway Tower, which Melanie suggested... 2 great locations.

Melanie arrived at the first location just before me already to shoot. Because she had been here before she posed really well. I left the choice of dress to Melanie, she chose a lovely dress. We had a great time there, resting and chatting enjoying the time.

After about 2 hours we moved on to the Tower, well in a field nearby... it was pretty crowded, full car park! Even though we weren’t right by the Tower we created some good images (pleased to say that she's chosen 20 or so, which I need to sort out)

Melanie is very friendly and fun to work with. She poses well and so makes it easy to get the picture you’re looking for. I recommend Melanie for both amateur and Pro photographers... we've booked a second shoot together, so really looking forward to that one. Thanks again Melanie for a great shoot.

I Had a super first shoot with Melanie yesterday on location in the Cotswolds, we did a 50s style retro and pin up shoot. Melanie is really a lovely caring person with a great personality, she is so easy to talk to and is quite chatty herself, on top of that she's she's a fantastic model,needs little or no direction and poses with ease and elegance, she came with a variety of outfits and achieved everything I wanted.!! All the communications before,on the day and after were excellent. What more can a photographer want?

Highly recommended and I look forward to our next shoot.!!

Had a great first shoot with Melanie on Friday at Cotswold Lavender Farm. Despite the the somewhat challenging conditions being rather windswept and the final hour being rained off we still got plenty done. Mel posed amongst the Lavender in a retro outfit and Demin shorts and top before rain put an end to things, Mel is really friendly and easy going and great to work with. I cant think why we have not met up before now. I would deffinately recommend Mel to anyone as she is simply great to work with and very friendly.

Cant wait till we do it again!.

It was an absolute privilege to meet and shoot Melanie.

Pre-shoot communications were excellent, being friendly, open and clear. Mel arrived at the initial shoot location exactly as agreed and brought an excellent range of alternative outfits. Her make-up and hair were to an exceptionally high standard.

This was a whole day shoot but it flew by. Mel was chatty, open and really engaging. She posed naturally and captured the exact tone that I was looking for, but was always happy to take direction. I can’t wait to go through the photos and just know that I have some fantastic ones.

I‘m already looking to plan that next shoot with Mel again and have so many ideas for her....

This was our third shoot, and our first since social distancing restrictions were relaxed enough, to allow us to shoot out on location. I got to meet Melanie's husband, and their absolute cutie-pie daughter too! We took the opportunity to take several 'mum and daughter' photos among the poppies before moving on to the main shoot. As usual, we had a good old natter while shooting (we hadn't seen each other for three months, so we had a lot to chat about! :D), which once again, was a very relaxed, and enjoyable way to spend a few hours with a really lovely lady :) I am super pleased with the results (I'm pretty sure Mel is too!), and look forward to exploring more ideas with Melanie, later in the year.

I had a great morning making photographs on a natural light location shoot with Melanie this morning.

Her communication before the shoot was perfect so we were both on the same page about what was happening, and she arrived absolutely on time. She had lots of ideas for the shoot about locations and posing, and was totally cheerful and engaged in the shoot for the whole two hours. She's fun and professional, really enjoyable to work with, and I'd happily recommend her.

I finally got to shoot with Melanie today and it worth the wait. What a lovely woman she is and we got some amazing images. Her precomms where amazing and professional and her modelling and adapting skills are next to none. Really easy to get on with and we had a good laugh and chat as we where walking from location to location. Already planned our next shoot together and looking forward to it.

I applied to Melanie's remote shoot casting - we discussed doing a pin up theme. Communication by Mel was clear and professional. I received the images last night - and they are lovely. I had the privilege of working with Mel on a remote shoot and she's a genuine joy to work with. This was my second time working on a remote shooting project with Mel and just like the first time she was absolutely fantastic to work with. Communication was first class all the way through the process and she took on the ideas/themes we discussed to create wonderful images that fitted the project to a tee. It's clear she's a natural in front of the camera and this shows in the emotion/narrative she produces in the photos.I'd highly recommend Mel to any and all photographers out there as she's a star. OH MY. WHAT A SHOOT. I was so happy to meet Mel and shoot for the first time in an Oxford hotel. We agreed to shoot pretty close to the date so I was surprised that she had so many outfits to match the mood boards. Mel is clearly a good poser because many of the images are lovely. We covered 3 natives and Mel absolutely nailed the looks. The images we saw when tethered are super and I’m not just saying that I really like them.

Pre shoot Comms were great and she arrived at Oxford station on time. She changes fast and efficiently. She’s really chatty and easy to get on with!

Mel’s make-up and hair were absolutely immaculate. 10 out of 10. Tip top.. you get the idea! No need for a MUA!

I would certainly like to shoot with Mel again and would recommend you do too! thanks a lot for a great shoot.

Melanie was booked first for a snowdrop group shoot which had be changed to our studio due to storm Dennis coming in, So after a change of plan Melanie was happy to do a series of fashion to lingerie level lighting set ups at our studio. I worked with Melanie last Sunday at a group shoot she and Alistair Currill had organised. As a Newbie to this style of photography I was a little nervous to begin with, but Mel immediately put me at my ease. She was friendly, easy going and happy to run though a few poses so that we could find shots we liked. With several changes of outfits and different lighting patterns the afternoon was soon over, I can honestly say I had a great time and some lovely shots for my portfolio :-)

I can happily recommend Melanie and I hope to work with her again in the future.

It was my first time shooting with Mel, originaly we were going to shoot location work but what with storm Dennis we had to change it to indoors, Melanie came well prepared with outfits , makeup and accessories she was very easy to work with and very friendly, the shoot went very well and im very happy with the photos we got from the photoshoot, i cant wait to work with her again and cant reccomend her enough.

Having bought a new camera this past week and wanting to get out to get to familiarize myself with it storm Ciara put pay to anything outdoors, so a late casting was found with the fantastic Melanie, having thought what date was approaching a theme was chosen for us to work together on. On arrival at the arranged time Melanie was warm, chatty and easy to work with, we discussed which of her outfits would work best for our themed shoot and I fully enjoyed our 3 hours working together.

I fully recommend anyone to work with Melanie, and hope to work with her again in future.
