This reference is not about how good Marie Jean is as a model, but it turns out she is multi talented and equally amazing as a stylist.

I had a 1-2-1 session at her styled event "Ethereal" at Crossroads Studio. The event was well planned, communication was good, and the styling was outstanding, Marie had selected an outstanding young model for the day, who worked tirelessly, the set was imaginative and the choice of looks was good, and worked well with the theme. Marie was there to offer suggestions as to how to get the best from her styling but was equally willing to make sure that the photographers ideas were included and accommodated. Over all a great couple of hours in very good company with Marie, the model Olivia and Olivias mum and chaperone. The images will keep popping up as there are so many great looks.

Now Marie Jean is not only recommended as a model, but also as a stylist, just book her now!

Marie is just fab to work with from organising to actual shooting. Friendly, creative and above all professional and the images just kept flowing. Marie is extremely hard working and offers coffee & cake (if you' are lucky)... We shot for half a day at her amazing home and racked up loads of creative images from natural light portraits, studio, boudoir and art nude. I brought along lots of studio gear and we hit the ground running. AMAZING model to work with and I fully recommend and hope that I can shoot with her again before too long.

I have shot with Marie on a number of occasions, both in a studio and at her home - which gives some indication of how I value her.

Marie is friendly and talkative whilst also being stylish and professional in her modelling and knowledge of photography.

This shoot was at her home. Together we worked through a number of ideas, costume changes, locations and poses. The whole session felt relaxed though we created a lot of images I'm happy with.

To sum up: Marie is stylish and photogenic but more importantly she is easy to work with and fun to be with. I recommend Marie to all photographers.

I had amazing first shoot with the amazing Marie at her home in leeds Marie is so much fun she is very easy going model very friendly and kind Marie is amazing model she is stunning gorgeous lady she is one of the lovelies model you could ever meet she is the best model ever in my eyes We had a great shoot working with a mixture of natural light, flash and LED Marie know where the natural light was we both had amazing ideas I jumped at Marie ideas she had we had a lot of fun we had a lot of laughs ​of of jokes she even nicked one my saying now it is one of marie new favourite phrase 😆 marie is very down to earth and a lot of fun to be around. Pre coms we’re spot on and she was friendly and approachable in her messages before the shoot and after the shoot she is so layed back very easy to get on with she is so chilled out she is very chatty Marie is always up for a laugh jokes she is so funny she is very respectful she is very polite she made me feel comfortable on the shoot marie is passionate about her modelling she is very hard working it was a pleasure working shooting with marie she was amazing host she was amazing at it I 100% recommended Marie all the photographers and models I cant wait for our next shoot thanks for today I loved every minute of it kind regards ian xx

Crossroads Studio

Marie hosted another of her fabulous studio days here at Crossroads Studio today.

As always Marie arrived with plenty of outfits and looks to more than fill the day. Anyone who has worked with Marie will fully understand this !

As always Marie was her talkative self, funny and entertaining.

Took the opportunity to photograph Marie-Jean in a local studio shortly after another event with Brian Sandham. Enamoured by her creative desire to collaborate to achieve the best results possible. Flexible, versatile and fun. MJ is extremley hard working; at the end of the day, although tired, she was still motoring and I got my best shots. This is a model that doesn't sit still and looks to try new things and push boundaries, within reason. I highly recommend Marie-Jean and look forward to our paths crossing again.

This was my third visit to shoot at Marie's home and it was as enjoyable and interesting as our previous shoots together.

Marie was coming from a busy schedule of touring days but the enthusiasm for modelling was there from the start, as were the friendly conversation and the good ideas.

We worked through a number of costume, background and room changes and together we made a lot of images I'm very pleased with. Despite having a longer shoot time we were still seeing other possibilities at the end - meaning there's lots to come back for!

Marie is encouraging, supportive and knowledgeable - she is also very photogenic and fun to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend her to all photographers and hope to work with her again.

Completed a shoot with Marie at her home, arraged very late after a cancellation but pre-shoot comms were fine and I found the location with only a little difficulty. Great company, very easy to be with, and I felt that we built a great rapport from early in the shoot, and to my mind, the resulting images show that.

Marie has a large and varied wardrobe that filled an entire room, and the chosen outfits fitted my ideas about 'smart casual' exactly.

I have no hesitation at all in recommending Marie and I would certainly work with her again.

I was lucky enough to join Marie on a recent group shoot, part of one of her Ethereal events. I have to say she was an absolute hero. The event was well run form the start running smoothly throughout.

We did 5 hours location shooting involving her wearing various gowns she had brought in for the occasion. That it was about 27 degrees all afternoon and she carried on with such professionalism ending up in the lake at the end.

The gowns she had for the event were stunning, her posing, as always was varied and precise in spite of the heat. Her humour never faded.

Absolutely recommended, if you get the chance to shoot with her, take it.

Had another fab shoot with Marie at Parklands. Marie was holding an Ethereal Studio event, so I took the opportunity to spend some time with Marie on a 1 to 1 shoot.

It was a beautiful sunny day & we did some studio work & then went to explore the outdoors for some location shots.

Marie always understands my concepts & nails the poses to suit what I am looking for. We always have a great laugh & produce fab images.

She is always kind enough to bring me some nutty milk for my coffee breaks, where we have a good catch up & put the worlds to right, before going on to produce more fab images.

Always a fab relaxed shoot & I can't recommend Marie enough.

Attended Marie's event at Parklands Studio today. She was awesome as ever! Fab posing and made it a fun shoot with her glowing personality. Marie always gives 110% to her events and today was no exception. Just a few of us due to covid, all restrictions were adhered to, but it was still a very pleasant day. I had the pleasure of working with Marie for the first time at her Ethereal event. It was a well really well organised and Marie made everybody feel at home straight away. Her posing, ideas and outfits were brilliant and she was a real trooper for jumping into a cold lake to pose for some shots - a great finale!
