Had my first shoot with Marie on a Tabatha event at the Scarborough fair collection.

Marie has been on my list to work with for some time now and can not believe I have not got around to booking this lovely young lady.

Very professional on the day but also layed back and very chatty and easy to get on with. Proper Yorkshire lass as we would say.

Had time to have a quick chat on a very busy day and she told me all about her home studio which sounded brilliant and was backed up by another photographer.

Big thanks for a fantastic fun day and for the laughs John.

It's so very difficult to write anything about Marie that hasn't been said many times before. I consider myself very fortunate to have known Marie for a number of years and can now call her a very good friend.

She has a wicked sense of humour and is chatty (and then some 😂) which puts all photographers at ease.

Shooting with Marie is so easy. She has the ability to move from one pose to another, effortlessly, and works without direction. She will however take direction if you are looking for a definite pose or look.

Marie is more than happy to work with those of us who are just starting out and will help you through the shoot.

Of course for the more experienced Marie will work tirelessly to provide you with the images you want.

Marie is definitely a model who is at the peak of her trade.

I can't recommend highly enough that you book with Marie when you get the chance.

Keep an eye out for her events and when you see one get booked on it straight away as it will fill very very quickly.

Crossroads Studio

From a purely selfish point of view, I can't say strongly enough what a coup it is to have Marie as our resident model.

Marie has supported the studio since we opened way back in 2017. She has held her studio days here since then and these are still as popular as ever. In addition to her own studio days she has designed sets and held events here, again with great success.

As a model you really are working with a model who has learned her trade over the years and is now able to put on a brilliant day. Her wardrobe is extensive from lingerie to stunning gowns so you can expect something sensational when you work with her.

This event was slightly different with half of it on location and half studio based.

Believe me, even out on the local moor, Marie was happy to change in my car and again modelled in amazing gowns.

Nothing fazes her and I can honestly say that Marie is definitely up there with the best of models, and ahead of the majority.

If you are a beginner don't be put off. Marie will ease you through your shoot, and has a massive catelogue of poses and expressions which she moves through seamlessly. Leaves you to concentrate on your camera work. For the more experienced photographer you will get the exact images that you want. There's nothing she won't have a go at.

Enough of my rambling on. Just book a shoot with Marie. You certainly won't regret it!!

My second dhoot with MJ ourdoors on the moors first with a variety of dresses in the sun before going back to Crossroads Studio for more glamorous dresses modelled by the fabulous Marie Jean. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her again, and I look forward to another trip down.

It was good to catch with Marie again for a shoot round Leeds. Shooting with Marie is so easy, moving from pose to pose or adding something in that you have seen.

She has a wicked sense of humour and very chatty which quickly puts you at ease.

What can I add to someone's profile that has 418 positive reviews and 0 negatives...only to confirm it's true, Marie is one of the best models around.

We were both in attendance at an organised Boudoir shoot and Marie turned up with perfect makeup, lingerie for the occasion and some amazing boots & whip..!!

Not only is Marie a total pro, she is also super fun to work with, and we had a blast over the course of the day.

110% recommended....can't wait to shoot with Marie again...and soon.!

3rd time shooting with the amazing Marie,

Obviously due to distance it is a bit difficult to arrange shooting time. Was pleased to receive a message from her saying she was coming down to London. Would I be interested in a shoot. Erm yeah.

Really great comms leading up to the shoot. Sent over mood boards to plan looks etc.

Met up at the hotel she was in and had a wander around the local area, some great locations, which made it hard to believe it was in the centre of town due to how quiet they were.

As always posing and looks were on point for the whole shoot. Looking forward to going through the amazing selection of images we captured.

So good to finally get another shoot in.

Marie and I ran our first boudoir event together at Hirst Priory and it was a huge success - I absolutely adore working & plotting events and looks with Marie, a fab creative professional through & through. Shooting at Hirst Priory was no exception and the images coming through are beautiful. I know that every photographer was impressed with the ideas Marie had in mind - especially the kitchen area. I am always wowed when Marie steps in front of my lens - to have her putting these events and ideas together is priceless - I am lucky to have such an amazing friend - would I recommend Marie - errr its a big fat YES!!! from me....

Marie and David invited me to join them as a model for an event day organised by themselves over at Hirst Priory with 5 other photographers and David himself and what an absolute fantastic day it was at an out of this world location!

Marie is Such a ball of fun very chatty, friendly and bubbly and an amazing person to be around! Despite me and Marie shooting in different groups I managed to catch a few glimpses of her working in action on the staircase and other areas and you can see her experience as a model really shine through, she absolutely nailed it all round and some of the back of camera shots like incredible. A true professional and an absolute delight to work alongside highly recommended by myself as I'm sure she will be by many others! Thanks for the most wonderful day x

I had the great fortune of working with Marie at Dave Linford's boudoir event at Hirst Priory - the name took my eye, the location turned out to be relatively close by, and since it felt serendipitous I spontaneously booked, having never done any boudoir work or shoots of this sort before! It wasn't without a little trepidation about propriety and trying out pose ideas I had in mind that married the provocative with the respectful.

Marie makes this so easy - immediately so friendly, and equally professional. She is a very experienced flow poser, whilst also accommodating my ideas (at that point only theoretical) in a way that made for a confident, good-natured and really enjoyable collaboration. It was so fortuitous to drop on to such a person the first time (I imagine it can't always be a given).

It's also obvious from her portfolio that she is a hugely versatile model and I hope to continue working with her in the future when my/our plans allow, particularly for fashion/portraiture studio work (I recently saw her coincidentally appear in the work of another photographer I was admiring); or perhaps an outdoor shoot, having hankered to work on her Brontë country shoots - if that doesn't testify to my recommending her, surely nothing does!

I hope to work with her again and perhaps test out some bold colour/fashion shots, or even a "couple" shoot!

After a couple of rescheduling issues, we finally managed to organise a shoot! which, I must say, was worth the wait! Marie has a natural talent for posing and was able to effortlessly convey the mood and style I was aiming for in the shoot. Her positive attitude and willingness to get the shot made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.

I would highly recommend Marie to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and dedicated model. I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again in the future.

Just did a turn up north, went to visit the amazing Marie at her awesome adaptable pad and also got to meet the very friendly Frank…right from the start, Marie was open and welcoming and even fed me a yummie brownie.

We had a very chilled shoot and took our time as I don’t often get to play with natural light and it offered a few challenges today as the weather kept changing its mind, but it meant that with the sets we did, we managed to hit some cracking contrasty mono bountifulness and I’m excited to edit it all.

We did everything from edgy fashion to homely casual stuff, portraits, lingerie and even some silhouettey sculpted art nude work. Marie is super super versatile and turns her hand to it all and knows how to squeeze the best out of the light there. She is golden, such a lovely lady to work with and she knows her craft inside out, but she’s also patient and works with you to ensure you get the shots you want. Highly recommended!!!

Finally got to work with Marie-Jean at the Hirst Priory event (organised by David Linford) and what an absolute pleasure it was. Marie-Jean has a natural flair in front of the camera and moved seamlessly from pose to pose. She was happy to take direction although often seemed to know intuitively what was wanted before I did and she was full of great ideas. She worked really well with our other model (Xenia) for a number of duo shots - in fact together they are a bit of a dynamic duo - made for a really fun day! Looking forward to working with Marie-Jean again

I had an excellent group shoot with Marie at Hirst Priory, an event organised by Dave Linford.

This was my second shoot with Marie and hopefully not my last, she was superb. Marie is a gifted model who certainly does not need any direction and is so easy to work and communicate with. Marie's outfits, makeup and posing were at a very high standard.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity of photographing Marie Jean during a Group shoot yesterday organised by Dave Linford.

I found Marie to be a very easy model to work with, she has a lot of energy and ideas which I found to be very helpful with this being my first group shoot. The poses flow from one to the other and she really needs little or no direction. Her chosen outfits for the day were a great contrast and added interest to the day. Very easy going and chatty not to mention professional. A superb model to work with. I'd have no problems recommending Marie for experienced or novice photographers.

Shoot #332 with Miss Marie Jean Saxton.... Well it feels like 332..could be 400 or 5... anyway, a pleasure to work with each and every time. You can't have a bad shoot with Marie - classy, sassy and very bad assy! How we managed to get through it without a box of Jaffa Cakes being present is beyond me...

She is a real joy to work with, very experienced but also happy to take direction and is genuinely mindful of getting good Images. Make up, Hair and choice of 'looks' were wonderful.

I would definitely recommend Marie and hope to work with her again.

1st time in the studio with MJ having previously worked on location with her.

MJ is fab model, really friendly and a brilliant communicator so we had swapped many messages about style and content on the shoot beforehand, even still we went a little off piste. My mood board was a broad brush approach to every genre!!

Great ideas, willingness to try things and offer suggestions to help improve the composition. Worked through the pain barrier to ensure I got the shots I wanted.

100% recommend and I still need to shoot the pastel lingerie 😂😂.

Despite it being the hottest day of the year, the shoot at Burton Constable was a great success for Marie and Dave Linford. The range of gowns supplied by Marie for herself and Kimberley were excellent and suited the various on site locations superbly.

This was the 3rd time I've been on a shoot with Marie, and as expected it lived up to all my expectations.

Thank you for a great day's event and no doubt we'll meet again soon for a shoot
