Had the pleasure of working with Marie for the second time ( the last being some 3 years ago ) at the C & L Studios group shoot.

Marie is an excellent, confident, and professional model with excellent posing abilities. Bringing with her a vast range of outfits, and some excellent bob style wigs.

Marie is an enjoyable, and fun to work with model, with a great personality, and can without hesitation be 100% Very Highly Recommended.

In Search of That Perfect Shot..............

I had my 6th shoot with Marie and wow what a time we had! This was her editorial model day where I booked some time - at Zavod studio in Sheffield. Marie's pre-comms are excellent and she brought outfits that I had decided on. Posing is 2nd to none - Marie is a very creative lady. A joy to work with - thank you Marie best wishes Jann

There are so many shoots we have done together and we are still thinking about ideas for more & more - Marie is so versatile in styling and incredible in front of the lens. Bubbly personality and stunning looks, and a mind that reads your ideas before speaking - that's Marie! A real true professional with a fab insight of what works best and amazing array of differing poses to accommodate every mood. I won't lie - I love working with Marie and I cannot wait to reveal the plans we have put forward before too long... would I recommend Marie? 200% YES DO IT! Marie has an amazing backdrop system in her massive flat and you can shoot studio from there too - like I said - a true professional....

I got the opportunity to shoot with Marie at Zavod Studio in Sheffield a couple of weeks ago and I'm still excited about it!

It's obvious why everyone highly recommends her as she puts so much energy into the shoot and displays an abundance of experience and talent.

She makes every effort to help the photographer get the images they are working towards and is a joy to work with.

While being exceptionally professional she is also great fun to work with and not short on banter! haha....

I loved working with her, and yes I'm still excited because I have so many amazing images to work with over the next few months.

Crossroads Studio

There isn’t much left to say about Marie that hasn’t already been said numerous times.

I am delighted that Marie is our resident model at Crossroads Studio and she has hosted many and varied events.

There isn’t any style or theme that Marie can’t model. She is a tireless worker and you are always guaranteed 100% effort and a multitude of amazing images.

This event was a classic portrait theme, and as always Marie produced a variety of looks all within the theme. She was as always adaptable to what each photographer wanted.

If you haven’t worked with Marie then you really are missing something special from your portfolio.

Look out for Marie’s special events at Crossroads where you can shoot with one of the top models at a heck of a bargain rate. Don’t miss a chance of shooting with Marie, whenever you get one

I shot with Marie on her classic portrait event at Crossroads Studio.

Marie is an amazing model and she created some fabulous looks on the day.

She is very easy to get along with, chatty and funny. Marie is the ultimate professional and will work to produce whatever look you want.

Simply, models don’t come any better than this.

You really should be looking out for any of Marie’s events. You won’t regret it.

And yes, needless to say I can highly recommend Marie to photographers of all standard.

A very lucky coincidence meant I was in Marie's area during her studio day at Crossroads Studio and she very kindly added an extra slot for me to participate. A lovely lady and model who frequently anticipated my next request for a pose. We chatted throughout and managed several looks and sets. Friendly, chatty, funny and professional at all times. So much so, I came back to participate in her evening group shoot. Highly recommend this lovely lady.

I have many shoots with Marie and everyone is a photographers treat because Marie is so professional and knows exactly how to interpret my ideas. Marie has an amazing face to photograph with really sculpt cheek bones and gives her face a really dramatic look, which together with her outfits ensures a really successful shoot. Finally got round to shooting with this beautiful lady after we unexpectedly had to cancel our first plans a while back

Not to be deterred,we kept in touch and finally made it with a fab shoot at Marie’s home

Lots of pre shoot coms helped us on our way and although we had never met it felt like going to a friends.

After a warm welcome and a cuppa we settled into the shoot and made our way through several sets,using various rooms in the house …..mainly natural light with a bit of studio lighting at the end

Marie is a fabulous model,flowing easily from pose to pose,thus making life easy for me

Lots of laughs,cake and chocolate along the way made for a very pleasant afternoon

Thoroughly enjoyed this shoot…..Marie has a lovely personality and I most certainly highly recommend her to one and all

It would appear that I am about to leave Marie her 390th positive reference. Enjoyed a very laid back shoot at her home which is like a TARDIS and offers lots of shooting spaces.

Marie and I had shot together before Covid so we were both comfortable enough to "go with the flow". We tried 2 or 3 looks over the 3 hours and from first look we've got some very decent images.

Despite not having had the best of weeks, Marie was still on top of her game which is one of the reasons why she is a pleasure to work with. We have talked about a very particular shoot next year which I hope will come off. So here is recommendation number 390 - Marie gets a big recommendation from me.

This was my first shoot with Marie Jean. Pre shoot communication was friendly & timely. The shoot was at her home studio & the 3 hours went by very quickly. MJ is friendly & down to earth & went to great pains to help get the shots I wanted (& makes a good cup of tea!). Recommended.

With a range of stylish outfits Marie supported a themed fashion workshop at Aura a few weeks ago now. Rouge / Noir and Marie modelled with outstanding style and creatively, very friendly and contributed to the event being a great day for all. The costumers were just outrageously out standing, Lady Gaga style which contributed to some great images against a number of different backgrounds and lighting effects. Highly recommended.

I’ve forgotten how many shoots I have had with this lovely lady! Marie is fabulous to work with, and was well prepared for a themed full day group shoot at Aura Studio. Emily helped with the costumes, I believe she had made some of them herself. Excellent day and lots of input from Aura and the other photographers to make the day a success. Marie is well worth booking if you see an event of hers then book it! Thank you Marie Jean Saxton and Aura Studio for fun filled day and a camera full of excellent results. It had been 3 full years to the day since we last worked together, so I was really looking forward to doing so at a Rouge/Noir Event at Aura Studio, with amazing outfits that both studio owner Emily had made and also that Marie-Jean had custom made.

The sets in this huge studio had been carefully thought out, and lit perfectly with red and blue gels against the backgrounds, and even a black painted narrow corridor.

Despite the downtime of Covid19 and maternity leave, Marie-Jean's 15 years of modelling experience had not faltered one bit. Her skills and creativity were every bit as I remembered from 2019, and I've always liked the way she moved her body into a pose position, as if in slow motion, and when the movement stopped, that was the time to take the shot.

Marie-Jean is so friendly with a great sense of humour, and takes direction - if required - in her stride.

Whatever the level of photographer you may be, I can 100% recommend working with her - my 3 year wait was worth every day. Thank you Marie-Jean for an exceptional time : ) x

Marie is such a wonderful person to work with and did an excellent job at making me feel comfortable and confident as a beginner. I'd 100% recommend Marie to any photographer of any skill level and genre. From boudoir ro high fashion, Marie nails it every time.

Marie was a great and friendly model to work with at Aura's club night. She came up with some great poses and was fun to work with. She was patient with me whilst I tried out my old 3D stereoscopic lens and I have some great images as a result.

Highly recommended - I would definitely like to shoot with her again.

Despite it not being long since my first shoot with Marie when I saw her post for the workshop I thought that it would be a blast to attend it since the first shoot was great. It definitely was, Marie was kind, fun and creative through out the whole event making 3 hours fly by with her dynamic posing and creative nature leading me to create some brilliant photos. She is probably one of the best creatives I know, it is always a delight to shoot with her and I would 100% recommend working with her, and it would be a pleasure to work with her again.

I had amazing third shoot my birthday shoot with the amazing Marie at her home in leeds Marie is so much fun she is very easy going model very friendly and kind Marie is amazing model she is stunning gorgeous lady she is one of the lovelies model you could ever meet she is the best model ever in my eyes We had a great shoot working with a mixture of natural light, flash with some background Marie got marie know where the natural light was we both had amazing ideas I jumped at Marie ideas she had we had a lot of fun we had a lot of laughs ​of of jokes marie is very down to earth and a lot of fun to be around. Pre coms we’re spot on and she was friendly and approachable in her messages before the shoot and after the shoot she is so layed back very easy to get on with she is so chilled out she is very chatty Marie is always up for a laugh jokes she is so funny she is very respectful she is very polite she made me feel comfortable on the shoot marie is passionate about her modelling she is very hard working it was a pleasure working shooting with marie she was amazing host she was amazing at it I 100% recommended Marie all the photographers and models I cant wait for our next shoot thanks for today I loved every minute of it thanks for makeing my brithday special it means a lot to me kind regards ian xx
