Jon came to Nottingham and we had a shoot in a lovely apartment. I was wanting to work with Jon for some time before and I'm really glad I got the chance too. Jon was so lovely and easy to get along with and I really enjoyed shooting with him. The shoot was really relaxed and allot of fun. I would highly recommend him to any model.

My shoot with Jon was an absolute joy - I felt as though we'd worked together many times before and, after what I thought was about 1 1/2 hours, I realised 4 hours had elapsed.

I was 6 months pregnant when we shot and it was a combination of maternity images and some awesome portraiture. Jon is an incredibly skilled (and modest with it) photographer, with a seriously keen eye for detail. He was very sensitive towards my need to sit down at various points throughout the shoot, and the fact that I couldn't walk as fast as usual!!

I have loved every image he has sent me so far - his processing is brilliant too.

Fingers crossed for another shoot in the near future :)

Jons pre comms were great and all because I had balls to message him and say I needed him for my concept,he jumped in both feet :D I didn't need to bribe him (get in) 😂

Jon was very happy with what I had to share,I know we have some excellent images coming,

from what we saw on the back of the camera,I believe we seriously nailed it :)

We did have a few surprise guessed along the way, a happy accident for sure :)

So credit to ed and Rhys for making an appearance.

I do hope your time in Swansea was as enjoyable for you as it was for me :),

I recommend Jon 100%

So much so I will be looking to shoot with Jon in the very near future, infact maybe another 10 :D

I very rarely shoot nudes but I adored Jon's style so much, I knew I had to have some. Jon and I got talking about a shoot sometime ago, there was a lot of pre planning and moodboard sharing while we discussed our hoped for goals from our first photoshoot together. Due to some public transport strikes our original plans fell through, however we decided to go ahead with our shoot at my house. Jon was a pleasure to work with, very laid back, he put any concerns I might have had out of my mind making me feel confident and comfortable infront of the camera. Even when we were struggling to get shots we wanted in my rather cramped little home Jon was a super star.

Since our shoot Jon has been sending me the occasional edit and I have to say every time one arrives it's like Christmas, every shot is amazing and vastly more than I could have hoped for. Jon has helped me to put some long desired stunning erotica into my portfolio and I am trilled to pieces.

Would highly recommend in a heartbeat, I just hope I get to shoot with him a few more times before he gets sick of the sight of me LOL

i had the absolute pleasure with working with this wonderful man and photographer at my house again yesterday...

we spent the day having lots of laughs and giggles and trying out new ideas and concepts which i think we captured on a huge scale..... from what i saw on the back of the camera we got some bloody awesome shots and genuinely cant wait to post some .

jon is such an easy going and funny guy to be with and is very professional... i absolutely love working with him.

again i cant recommend him highly enough and i cant wait till our next shoot ( hopefully) (hint hint jon ...lol )

I have pleasure to work with Jon, last Sunday 14th June 2015.

he is a talented guy with good sense of Hummer. which make model to be comfortable to work with him and enjoy the shoot.

he discussed ideas with model and planned shoot together and give very less direction so model can feel comfortable and confident with poses but those direction he gave they are master piece.

he is a great host and i loved the whole day spending with him.

I don't need to say much about how awesome my second shoot with Jon was at the weekend... The images speak for themselves...It wasn't a great weekend for me and our best laid plans to shoot in Nottingham dissapeared but not only did we end up shooting some amazing off the cuff shots, but Jon put up tirelesly with a right old misery gutts all day..But sometimes coffee and a chat yields some great results :)

Had another awesome shoot with Jon. What is there to say that has not been already said! Jon is so fun to be around, we had a lot of laughs and he captured awesome images. He also kept me very fed and watered.

For this shoot we decided to have a wonder around London as I do not get a chance to go outside too often. Jon once again came up with highly imaginative ideas and also allowed me to have an input.

Loving the results so far. Thank you for a fabulous day and I do hope we shoot again.

If you ever get the chance, work with this guy, absolutely awesome in every way.

Jon is the BOMB!!! :p

I love working with this guy for so many reasons...

- firstly, he is always in a fantastic mood, on time with a hot chocolate in hand ready for me... BRILLIANT!

- we have such a laugh and I always enjoy every minute of our shoots... even if we've been shooting for 9 hours straight!

- he is always willing to try new things and explore new locations for us to use

- he has an unusual but awesome taste in music so we get to have a mini car rave on our way to the shoot locations

- he is so passionate about what he does and gets ridiculously excited when we've taken some amazing images aha!

- he is so considerate and always puts the model's happiness and safety first... he went full on Rambo on some brambles for me so I wouldn't have to walk through them hahaha.. what a hero!

- he is incredibly talented and we always create magic together :D I'm always so excited to see the images we've created and show them off!

- he is a mega quick editor so you never have to wait long to see your high quality images!

- basically he's all-round awesome and is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met.

Jon is one of my favourite photographers to work with and I don't think we'll ever run out of amazing ideas to shoot!

So, I managed a second shoot with Jon, and well, lucky me! What a wonderful chap, and photographer too! I must say, I feel as though I've already known him for years.. Jon can turn his hand to anything, he just has such a natural aptitude...

I came up with a hair-brained concept that Jon helped me to fine tune, and took fantastic shots for each stage of the series.

Jon arrived punctually, as always and was an absolute delight to work with... I would always be happy to work with him again and again! He never ceases to amaze me with his amazing level of consistency and brilliance! As previously, we ended up shooting right through to the early evening...

If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Jon, do not pass it by! Highly recommended!!!

What can I say about Jon that hasn't already been said?

Jon is friendly, funny & a very talented photographer.

We shot at a derelict location which neither of us had been too before, Jon adapted well to the location & changing light sources, ensured I was safe (damn clumsy model!) & at ease through the shoot & even treated me to a subway (mmmm!).

First edit was back quickly & from what I've seen on back of cam we've got more epicness to show you soon!

Highly recommended by me & would love to work with him again!

I had my first shoot with Jon last week and very much hoping it won't be the last :)

In the run up Jon was friendly and professional in communications, with ideas discussed in advanced of the shoot. He then put up with me dragging him up into the moors on a windy, rainy, miserable day and then around Manchester for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Throughout it all he was friendly, chatty and a pleasure to work with.

We got through three different looks/sets in completely different locations on the day and Jon had loads of ideas for things to try out as well as being to happy to try out pretty much anything that popped into my head as well.

All in all a really great shoot and hope I get to shoot with Jon again.

I had the pleasure to shoot with Jon for the first time and he was great! We got along from the moment we met and we had fun throughout that day just shooting around town in Birmingham city centre. We both came up with ideas and and tried to get good shots! He was professional and easy to get along with and I would definately want to work with him again. I had the pleasure of arranging a rather spontaneous impromptu shoot with Jon and Isobela Lugosi recently. Spontaneous shooting can be awesome at times, but this one just rocked!

Within 5 minutes of meeting Jon, it felt as though we had known each other for years, just chatting and laughing. After a cup of coffee, we went and changed into our wedding dresses (myself and Izz, that is, lol) and the madness ensued... We took my car to a petrol station and proceeded to argue across him, whilst Jon ran around taking shots from every conceivable angle and nailing most of them in the space of less than 5 minutes.

After we got shouted at by some obnoxious twonk, we proceeded to go back to costa and take some shots outside, nothing like making use of a brick wall or anything! But judging by his port, you can tell that Jon can utilise pretty much any situation thrown at him!

We then managed to make use of a rather large tesco extra and the surrounding area!

After Izz had to go home, Jon and I carried on shooting, until gone 8pm... Gotta say that's my first ever 10 hour shoot, and I must say will probably remain the most enjoyable.

I had a fantastic day and adore the results so far!

4th time shooting with Jon-

This time he came to my boyfriends flat to shoot me there for a bit and then we went for a walk around town and shot some awesome location stuff!

Jon is an all round great human and looking at the back of the camera we made some incredible photos today- he just has such a good eye and gets the perfect shot!

I will continue to shoot with Jon until he gets bored of my face (i don't mean to sound arrogant but i don't think he will...) HAHA.

Always such a laugh. Always such amazing shots. HIGHLY recommend!

What to say about my shoot with Jon...:) Despite being dragged to a filthy derelict building for the first time, with a bonkers concept, we got some bloody amazing stuff.. And Jon somehow managed to shoot some simply stunning portraits around the place with the natural light.. Not sure how it happened with my ugly mug, but once we started wandering we couldn't stop, and we found corners of the place I've never seen before! Awesome shoot and so easy to bounce ideas off and spontaneous, we certainly had a fantastic shoot, and I'd recommend anybody to shoot with Jon without any hesitation!

I have been following Jon's work for a while now as I just love his style and as you see from his photos and other references I am not the only one :)

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jon, as I really wanted to do a shoot alongside him as I felt I could learn a lot from him, so he came down to my studio for a 1-2-1 tuition shoot.

I must say, he is so easy going to work with, a good laugh, and from the shoot I came away with a lot more knowledge. It was a complete change of style from my normal photography and just one day with Jon has opened up so many new ideas about my photography, shooting in my studio, utilising my house in photography and much more.

Thank you so much Jon and for the models, if you have not worked with Jon yet, you really need to as everyone should have some Jon Downs photos as part of their portfolio.

Sooo happy we finally managed to shoot together, did not disappoint! He has a wonderfully creative eye and pays a lot of attention to the small details. Felt like we were on the same creative page, which made working with Jon a blast. Very easy going, considerate and down to earth personality. Highly recommended!
