Sunrise in Fuerteventura

I can't believe this isn't in my port!

From a photography trip with London Photography Social

It was about 5am when we headed out with torches and phone lights to walk up the old volcano to get an epic sunrise shot.

Firstly we took a wrong turn (harder to see the route in the dark!)

However we soon found ourselves back on the right path. The little bit of sun light was gaining on us quickly and we realised we had to get set up fast!

It was certainly a challenge as the rocks were really sharp but I said I had to do it bare foot other wise it wouldn't look right.

They photogs kindly helped me balance and take my shoes for me so at least I didn't have to move.

It was soooooo windy that I could lean into the wind! I had to seriously hold onto that fabric other wise we'd never get that back!

But it was so worth getting up at silly o'clock for such an epic scene. I felt so alive up there doing this.
