Hi, I’m Paul, and thanks for having a look! I am a hobbyist photographer - and have been for most of my adult life. I have only started working with models over the last couple of years, and I am really enjoying the experience - I wish I had started years ago!
I love anything retro - particularly 50's - 70's, and I am a big fan of retro pin-up style photography – especially with a ‘candid’ theme, and would love to collaborate some time. I am fascinated with the works of Helmut Newton, early Bailey and the Pop Art era in general. I am also a fan of good portrait photographers.
I have always loved beautiful 'Art Nude' style photography, and I absolutely love the 'Bodyscape' genre. I am not that keen on bondage or implied violence/distress/humiliation fetish styles, but I wouldn't rule them out completely.
I want to experiment more with creative and dramatic lighting styles - light painting, projection, multiple exposure etc, and also creative makeup/body paint is a genre I absolutely love, and definitely want to try!
I love ‘quirky’ !
Although I take my hobby seriously, I like to have fun with it too. I just want to create great pictures.
If the end result makes me smile, then that’s great. If it gives me goose bumps, that’s even better. If it brings a tear to my eye – then that’s special.
I am always keen to listen to new ideas, and I am always open to collaborations - including TF.
TFP/Collaboration Shoots - Please read:
As with all my shoots, I always put 100% effort into them to ensure I get the results I am looking for; TFP and collaborations are no different. In fact I probably put more effort into these shoots because I want to make sure that whoever I am working with, also gets the results they are looking for too. I have had my fair share of no-shows, late cancellations etc, which is not only very frustrating, but unprofessional and inconsiderate too. I love trying to create serious, artistic and fun pictures, and I dedicate a lot of time and effort into achieving this, so I don’t think I am asking too much for the model to make the same effort as I do.
