There are mountains to climb, views to take in. I love this medium of photography, only recently discovered.
I had the good fortune to begin my time as a photographer with the inspirational Alley at Pozers studio. The incredibly beautiful and brilliant Helen Diaz was our model for the art nude workshop that began it all for me. What a start! Thank you Helen. No wonder I fell in love. Before my first solo shoot with the stunning Claire Topaz, I furnished myself with a secondhand 85mm prime lens and a D750. Broke but excited, I went to the shoot carrying with me a wardrobe I'd assembled from charity shops and dress agencies. I love this part of the game. Claire is amazingly talented as a model so the shoot couldn't have gone any better. And Alley was always on hand to lend technical know how and encourage me with humour and great stories. Next came a two hour shoot with Nicole G Model. Oh how I had longed to work with her and now I was! When I looked at Nicole through my lens it was like gazing into heaven. And now my story continues ... thank you for joining me as I launch my first port as a photographer.
My other page is Jimversion, painter. Yes, I'm really that. The photography was really meant as a means of sourcing images for painting. But now I'm in love with it all. I'm so looking forward to meeting you; having fun with you, creating beautiful shots with you. Thank you for looking - very generous of you because I know you're working much of the time. I'm very happy you did.
