Today was my first time shooting with Ivory Flame, Remotely. I had admired her portfolio for a long while. What can I saw that's not apparent from her portfolio? She is a beautiful person, talented model and an Artist. Her setup was flawless and she went out of her way on a few occasions to make sure I got the prfect shot. I will of course be working with her again in the near future and I would highly recommend Ivory Flame to anyone :) She is a dream to work with :)

Having done remote shoots with a few models since lockdown started, I did one with Holly last week, which was my first time shooting with her. I found Holly to be a true professional, excelling at her posing and expression and being knowledgeable in lighting and composition which really helped make for some great images. She took on board the ideas I sent in my moodboard and contributed her own flourishes to really make the best of them. She is also extremely friendly with communication being flawless from pre-shoot communications through the shoot itself, where conversation flowed effortlessly, and post shoot where she advised me on how to improve the images (her knowledge and expertise being a great asset once again)and also helped me discover and fix an issue affecting the images related to my colour calibration on my computer. It was easily one of the most enjoyable and productive of the remote shoots I have done and she is without a doubt one of the best models I have had the pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

This was my first shoot with Holly and also my first remote shoot.

The pre shoot comms were professional, friendly and helpful in setting us up for a trouble free session using Holly’s technical know how and photography skills to get us all ready to go. The setup time wasn’t included in the planned shoot time so we had plenty of time to work through our ideas.

Holly was the consummate professional throughout and has an easy pleasant way about her making for a relaxing yet productive shoot which was thoroughly enjoyable on my part. I can not recommend her highly enough, you’ve probably all seen many images of her and she produces pose after pose flowing from one to the next. I will hopefully manage to get some studio time with Holly in the future as this remote session has certainly wetted my appetite for more.

Just had a remote shoot with Holly, a first for me!, having before had studio shoots with Holly.

As usual all the communication was top notch from Holly and as we had agreed on Holly to choose a theme on basic idea all went extremely well, getting used to the technology reasonably quickly. Great way to keep shooting in these strange times, again highly recommend Holly to anyone who has not had a shoot before and those that have.

I did a remote shoot with Holly and I’m surprised how much it feels no different to a normal shoot after getting used to the technology. It’s helps that Holly is very hard working and precise on getting the right shot, a bonus that she’s also an amazing photographer herself and is so easy to work with because she’s such a lovely person! This is my second remote shoot with a model and will definitely do another!

I have worked with Ivory Flame numerous times before, but this is the first time we have ever done a remote shoot. Owing to the current Covis-19 crisis, a "normal" shoot is not currently possible. I therefore jumped at the chance to shoot remotely with Ivory Flame, and I am delighted with the results. The technology takes a little time to get used to, but Ivory Flame guides you through the process expertly and the results (as you can see) can be fabulous. The pace is much slower than you may be used to, but that encourages you to think carefully about each and every shot, which I consider a positive.

I would have no hesitation about shooting this way again, and recommend every photographer to consider working with Ivory Flame on a remote shoot.

Ivory Flame very kindly agreed to contribute to my Helmut Newton-inspired “Lockdown Selfie” project. The shoot concept is very simple - two identical poses, one clothed and one nude - but the execution can be challenging and I’m extremely grateful to Ivory Flame for the time and effort she spent on putting together two images with such wonderful style, poise and pose. Ivory Flame kindly agreed to let me post-process the images and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results that we’ve created together. Thank you so much and I can't wait for us to be able to shoot together again in person! 😀

I had my first shoot last Thursday with Ivory Flame.

This was a most unusual shoot in that it was a remote shoot. Holly was great with helping me to get the techie side sorted. Once that connection had been made, the shoot was great fun. I can see this becoming a feature of photography moving forward, in that togs will get to work with models from other locations in the UK as well as other countries in the world.

As one would expect from a top model, the pre shoot communications were top drawer. Holly was great fun to work with. Full of great ideas, and we were able to get the shots we wanted.

Holly is highly recommended. I’m sure to work with her again in the future.

*Remote shoot* – Ivory Flame in England, me in Norway

Ivory Flame is a wonderful model I know very well, and we have worked together several times in England, Norway and in Iceland.

This time we decided to do a *remote* shoot with her in England and me in Norway due to the current Covid-19 situation. We wanted a smooth system producing high quality images with as much control to the photographer as possible. Briefly described I could shoot high quality images with her professional DSLR camera. From my computer I had access to most of the settings and the shutter release on her camera through tethering and remote desktop software. We communicated by video call on cell phone.

The shooting experience was almost as if we were together the same place! We could be creative as usual and we discussed how to achieve the images I wanted *just the same way* as we usually do. We communicated easily and I could decide camera position and ask where I wanted her to be in the room. She gave me very good overview of the location through the video call. I felt we could work very close to how we usually do!!!

There are some limitations of course! The camera was mounted on a tripod. I had to ask for the camera to be moved and positioned. However, Ivory Flame positioned the camera and made necessary changes very swiftly. She is a talented photographer herself and knows her camera very well! Normally I move dynamically while shooting to take care of the composition and framing as the model moves. Also, there is a small delay over the Internet when clicking the shutter. So, the shoot must have a slower pace, but that fitted our shoot very well. Also, I would prefer to meet in person if it was possible, but this was a very good substitution!

Holly is truly such nice and friendly person, so even with the few limitations of remote shooting, the experience felt very comfortable and like how we usually work together. Most important, we got amazing images created by true collaboration between the two of us! Thank so much Holly!

I highly recommend *shooting remotely* with Ivory Flame, and of course the usual way when that is possible!!!

It barely seems no time at all since I last worked with Holly.

This time in a totally different environment, some 5000 miles away on the Yucatan peninsular of Mexico. We spent the best part of a week on a tour of some great locations and Haciendas around Merida.

At each location Holly truly excelled, a boundless enthusiasm for modelling in such stunning surroundings, totally in her element around many great architectural features of the many Haciendas visited. Long days, much travelling, hot and humid conditions nothing would deter Holly from delivering an awesome opportunity for great images - any failings would be mine.

Anyone who hasn't worked with Holly should correct that as soon as they can. Book Holly as soon as you are able.

As ever very, very, highly recommended.

My second great shoot with Holly. We worked in the main studio at Image Red where the owner, Brian, ably assisted us. Holly’s pre-shoot communications were excellent and she arrived well prepared. We covered a variety of styles from emotive portraits, in which she excels, to fashion, but including experimental work where we projected some of my images onto Holly.

Holly takes a keen interest in the back of the camera, adjusts her poses when necessary and offers constructive suggestions. With such a model, it’s not surprising that together we created some gorgeous images.

My first studio shoot with Ivory, and am sure it will not be the last. I missed Ivory when she last visited Aura studio - but not this time.

As always presented a very open brief with a few ideas that I'd like to shoot - Ivory was well prepared bringing her own suggestions to the shoot. Regular reviews allowed us to refine a few poses with subtle changes in angle creating some fantastic sculptured shapes and poses.

We worked a couple of different sets and Ivory excelled in all that we executed.

I look forward to our next opportunity to shoot in just a week or twos time in a totally different environment.

We were able to easily move through a number of different setups where I set the scene and Holly was able to interpret what I wanted through her effortless posing. I shot with Holly this weekend during a home shoot organised by a friend and I in Cambridge.

Holly was awesome fun to work with and arrived with an extensive wardrobe to suit what we had planned.

Over the course of the three hours that we spent working together, Holly helped realise our aims - not only taking on board our moodboards and translating them into her posing and expression, but also sharing thoughts, ideas and suggestions of her own.

Holly has a thorough understanding of lighting and was generous with her photographic knowledge - something that certainly helped us realise our vision.

I'd recommend Holly without hesitation and look forward to working together again some time soon.

I have known Ivory since 2008, but we actually never got to work together until a few years ago in 2017. When I found out that she was coming to my area, I knew that I had to work with her again, despite knowing that our only location would be my small apartment studio set-up, which is very limiting and in which I'd felt that I'd exhausted all of the possibilities. How wrong Ivory proved me to be, as I felt like I was beginning to photograph there anew! Effortless posing, extreme grace and a very expressive, photogenic look are what she brought to me, in addition to being a wonderful and delightful person. I look forward to seeing the results when I get my film back. Highly recommended!!!

Had my first shoot with Holly today at Inspire Studios, Salisbury and what a lovely experience it was.

We went through a variety of styles, genres and lighting types and Holly was superb throughout. Always very professional and relaxed, with many laughs along the way. It really was a great couple of hours and the results were amazing.

A lovely person and model - so easy to shoot and definitely recommended.
