References for The Hacienda

Great chance to shoot at The Hacienda today. I've always wanted to since I've seen the pictures on their PP account and site. Great studio in the heart of London that when you walk into it, you'll just start smiling as you walk around and you're mind is thinking of different parts of it that you can shoot in. Sean is a great host as well and it was great to meet him again. I hope I get the chance to shoot there again in the future.

I had the amazing opportunity and privilege of being the first to attend the Hacienda Experience Day, and what a day, a heart felt welcome to this extraordinary studio, not just a studio but a wonderland of ideas at every turn, created by Sean, just brilliant.

The day consisted of 5 individual elements that merged together to provide insight, experience, knowledge and pure enjoyment.

1/ Initially starting with Makeup Stylist Gemma, a great chat whilst she prepared the model for the day, plenty of notes made.

2/ Next the Model Nicole, beautiful, fun, energetic, we chatted frankly about model / photographer communication, etiquette, pose, respect, more notes made.

3/ The Shoot, great model, great backdrops, all the lighting available and natural light

Time for a fantastic lunch with plenty of banter

4/ Processing with Lulia, I don't have much experience with photoshop, so to have a experienced, patient and methodical walk through of the processes to take that initial image to the next level was fantastic, lots and lots of notes taken.

5/ Sitting down with this team of Sean, Gemma, Nicole and Lulia and discussing all things, was wonderful, a perfect end to a perfect experience.

I'm jealous of those that follow having this day, enjoy

My second Hacienda experience - a model day with the incomparable Ayla. We only had two hours but achieved a huge amount, in part due to previous experience with the venue.

Sean was again an excellent host - happy to leave us to it but equally happy to give assistance if required. Highly recommended.

Hosted a model day at the Hacienda . Oh my word what a beautiful creative space . There are endless opportunities here. It was my first London studio and I dont think I could have started with a better one either.

There are endless opportunities in this place . There is amazing natural light but all lighting and equipment is on hand if needed. The place itself is so beautifully decorated it makes a big impact in the images. You have a plain walls, rustic furnishings, modern interior ..you name it.

Most of all the host Sean is just amazing. He was an amazing host and treated me well. He is respectful and above all ensures model safety. He truly proud of the space and wants to see it to the best ability he can . It is clear the hard work and dedication Sean puts in . Fab place

The studio is perfect for central London so you can also explore Brick lane which is my favorite place everything is going on , I got to Sean's http://purpleport.com/portfolio/hacienda studio to have a chat and chill before the model turned up, this is a great studio for natural light, Sean is a perfect host and a true gent, he was always on hand if I needed anything, and hid away in his cave out of the way.

The results were awesome and accepted for publication by #Swarvemagazine so for exclusive sets check it out.

Had my first shoot at the Hacienda yesterday and have to say it's a highly impressive studio. The owner and host is very friendly and helpful and has created a fabulous studio in a highly desirable location. Great natural light, no studio lighting was needed. The distressed walls make for great backdrops and the vintage furniture is wonderful.

The space inspires creativity and it comes highly recommended. I look forward to using the studio many more times in the future.

The Hacienda is a Beautifully equipped, vast Studio Loft 'apartment' right in the middle of London's fashionable East City side. The owner is extremely helpful and it really was a pleasure to shoot there today. Great Natural light, immaculate decor with something for everyone's taste.

A fabulous place to shoot. Recommended, 5*****!

Excellent studio!

It is definitely worth a visit if you would like to get some good creative shots. It is is fully equipped and it has great access to natural light.

Most importantly the manager Sean was great for making sure that the event ran smoothly. He helped the photographers if they needed it. Overall, I enjoyed the day!

I would definitely recommend this studio to all- I certainly do hope to visit there again.

I answered Mischkah,s casting call for her studio day at The Hacienda.

Misch new this amazing location very well and was able to show me around and make fab suggestions as to how best to take advantage of this truly phenomenal loft apartment.

The host Sean has kitted out this stunning location in truly wonderful taste, so much so I'd happily live there myself, seriously good.

Although Sean has an abundance of lighting kit, however, the natural light was so beautiful, as to provide really magnificent results.

I can't wait for my next opportunity to shoot there.

The Hacienda is fast becoming THE best and only venue you want to be seen at in England. It's a creative hive of exclusive photographic activity only available to hire through selected quality models. I'm honoured to be included as one of these chosen few. I can't get enough of it. There are so many of those rare, quality feautures that the photographic industry loves: natural light in abundance - North and South facing windows, old wooden floorboards, vintage furniture along with those oh so amazing (and now iconic) minty green distressed walls. Drool, my olive skin looks amazing against these colours!! Not to mention all of those original industrial eye candies like the old iron elevator door. Oh and just to top it off Brick Lane is on the doorstep. Staying here during my model weekends is the ultimate luxury- the kind of job that you really feel is the icing on the cake. I'm 8 years into my modelling career & can confidently say, there is nowhere better.

An amazing studio to work in. Great natural light (on a 2 hour shoot i didn't even require a reflector let alone any flash lighting). Stunning spaces, with great textures (walls, doors, backgrounds). A very short walk from local tube stations in a busy bustling and artistic community (if you get there early i advise a nice tea round the corner and if your model hasn't got the right outfit, try the multitude of vintage shops around). The host and owner is a great guy, friendly and enthusiastic, willing to help in any way, yet just as happy to lock himself away and let you get on wth it. Great taste in music as well. I look forward to going back regularly and on many occasions. Not just a great space to work in but a real boost to the creative soul. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of doing a studio weekend at the Hacienda Studio. I have nothing but praise and positivity for this studio and Sean the owner. Pre Studio day/s, Sean's online communication was amazing, he is so helpful, informative, certainly puts you at ease. Over the weekend at the studio, Sean made sure everything ran wonderfully, he is super helpful, friendly and lovely to everyone that comes along, nothing is too much trouble. He looked after me from start to finish like a total selfless hero! Sean is so kind and a perfect host and I am so grateful for the opportunity to get creative at his beautiful studio. The Studio is a stunning space, with loads of interesting and quirky areas to shoot. The natural light is beautiful and there are lots of lights there also, which Sean kindly lends out. The studio is full of character, all decorated with such great taste, super stylish, elegant, cool, modern, retro, classy....it really has it all! :)

So highly recommended to models, photographers, everybody....an opportunity not to be missed!

Wow, wow!!

This studio is simply incredible!

I had the best 2 studio days this weekend. I could see from images that had already been created here that it was going to be a perfect place to shoot. I was not wrong.

This studio is so unique in many ways and for me it was a privilege to work there.

Everything was great and I was truly looked after.

In the whole 2 days I was shooting there, I believe I have only scratched the surface with this studio's potential. So many more amazing images to be created here.

It's the best studio by far and I can't speak highly enough of the Hacienda.

4th June 2017 had a fabulous shoot at the Hacienda in East London. the studio allows models to hold studio days and I took advantage of the studio shooting Laylalee from Bristol

The studio is superb with fabulous natural light, great props in the way furniture and the decorations. Had a great welcome from Sean and shown around. Photographer please remember to bring slippers as the floors are also fabulous to shoot with.

Sean the owner has plenty of lighting equipment should you need it and is hands on if required. There are many facets of the studio to shoot with and you will not run out of ideas.

Looking forward to next time
