References for The Hacienda

This was my first shoot at The Hacienda, as soon as I walked in my first word was "Wow!!"

The studio has to be seen to appreciate it - wonderful natural light from the windows, great choice of furniture/light fittings and nicely varied walls with texture.

Sean is a genuinely friendly and helpful guy, the equipment I used (x2 Bowens with Strip Lights/reflectors/ring light) was fantastic. Sean gave me a quick demo on the equipment I hadn't used before.

Totally recommended and would love to shoot there again!

So I had my first experience working at The Hacienda last Sunday for a studio day and the first thing I should mention is how popular the studio was when I advertised it!....

Comms between myself and the studio owner, Sean, were brilliant. I was given all the information I could need and Sean was more than happy to answer any questions that I had, along with setting up advertising himself to help attract attention!...

Well now onto the studio itself!... And all I can say is wow what a space!... The first thing I notice is how high end the space looks, it's not a studio in terms of backdrops and sets but more a creative space to make wonderful photographs... The space is perfect for natural light, but for those who are more studio trained there is an endless supply of equipment and Sean is more than happy to raid the stash for you!...

One of the important things for me is for a place to be clean, and the Hacienda is immaculate, smells like a spa and is decorated to perfection!... This genuinely is something special and will easily add style to any image.

The space feels warm, welcoming and most importantly for us models safe!... Anything you need is there and Sean more than looks after you!...

Highly recommended!... I'm back in May and absolutely cannot wait!...

Thanks again Sean, you really do have something special in this studio!

I had a fab studio day at Hacienda at the weekend, and was greeted by the friendly and charismatic Sean.

The studio is oozing with natural light and great derelict wall backdrops, prog rock music was playing and lovely scented candles were burning - I felt truly in my element!

This was my second shoot at The Hacienda, this time on a studio day with Elle Beth and Gem. The studio is near Brick Lane and conveniently located for Liverpool Street station and several tube lines. There are lots of shops and food outlets in the immediate area too, so you needn't go hungry! The Hacienda's very well equipped and the owner, Sean, is welcoming and friendly.

In contrast to my last visit (which was at just short of 5pm on an early-March evening), this was a middle of the day shoot and the sun cooperated. I managed to shoot entirely using natural light (even in the furthest and darkest recess of the main room). I’m very happy with the results and The Hacienda is highly recommended.

It's a most welcoming and hospitable studio that provides as much help, as you need, and not many places can provide indoor facilities like this studio does.

It’s a place like no other - not that I've seen anyway I already have a booking for next week,

Get along to this studio, book some time or attend a model day. If you cant shoot great Images here you might as well take up knitting instead of Photography. Sean is such a nice helpful guy and the studio is first class. Did I say go there? Yes, yes, yes. Highly recommended ++++++++

What a wonderful place to shoot! Plenty of Space... lots of light and plenty of 'props' to create a great images. Oh and Sean (the owner) is the perfect host.

What a fanstastc place, I cannot rate this place highly enough. Abundance of natural light and props makes this a unique place to shoot. Sean is a marvelloues proffesional host too. Hopefully will be back there in the near future. Highly highly recomended.

Have shot at the Hacienda studio in London twice now and really enjoyed both sessions. Conveniently situated and well equipped, it’s ideal for me. It’s a great setting for different styles of photography and although both of my shoots have been natural light, there is plenty of lighting equipment there if you need it. Sean, the owner, is a great host and photographer himself, and he also makes a good cup of tea. Highly recommended and my next shoot is already booked, I’m becoming a regular.

Had a shoot recently at the Hacienda with the incredible jodie ellen. Absolutely love the space and for sure lotta great potential and a perfect canvas for any artist wanting to create something unique. The owner Sean is a great and accommodating guy as well and good to be around. Looking forward to shooting again there.

Was very happy to get the chance to host a studio day at The Hacienda this month, the location is really beautiful with gorgeous natural light, features, props. the location can be used as both a studio apartment or the furniture can be moved to create a more open space to take advantage of the depth and wooden floor. The owner Sean is very organised and is always around to help if this is wanted or will let you be to create the images you have in mind.

This location is a unique gem for London as it really supports creatives who want to create and have fun.

This was my first shoot at The Hacienda and was a short slot on a studio day with Elle Beth. The Hacienda is superb; very nicely furnished and there's plenty of room in which to work. There's one large room which is a combined kitchen/dining area and lounge, a bathroom, bedroom, and small area set up as a bar. All in all, plenty of variety and all very nicely decorated.

The owner, Sean, is very friendly and welcoming. He's happy to assist in setting up lights, moving furniture, etc. The studio has a great selection of lights and modifiers too, so all you really need is your camera, any props, and a model.

The Hacienda is highly recommended.

A large studio near Brick Lane in the East End of London. The studio has a variety of areas and allows for a lot of different looks, including bathroom, bedroom and kitchen area. Large windows in the main areas provide lots of natural light.

I believe I was one of the first to shoot at this new studio in London.

This was a half day shoot with Mischkah.

Sean made me most welcome with his enthusiasm for his studio. This shows in the details to which he has gone to make it work both as a natural light studio and also with a good range of studio lighting when needed.

I will be shooting again there later this year so is highly recommended.

What a simply incredible shoot space! I was delighted to host the opening of this studio last week. I did five days here and have to say what a pleasure it was to have SO MANY different shooting opportunities- everyone who came saw and produced a completely different shot. The Hacienda has loads of quirky furniture and original industrial features, as well as those heavenly textured/distressed walls. It literally is photography heaven, with its entire wall of south facing windows and original floorboards! Sean was exceptionally brilliant when it came to showing people in, meet and greet, explaining the kit- but always stayed out of the way while we were shooting. An entirely exclusive, and unique shoot space that I'm honoured to have been welcomed in to. I can't recommend it highly enough. One of the best around, on a par with The Factory and other similar home studio spaces. Because Sean is running this not for profit, I had no issues donating to his just giving site for the homeless. It's a fantastic space and all exists for a good cause.

Had a really great two hour shoot with Mischkah at the newly opened Hacienda studio, so many great area's to shoot, with both natural and studio light's.

Sean was welcoming, friendly and helpful, from moving furniture around, or helping with lights if needed.

Highly recommend . and will shoot there again.

I had a wonderful shoot with Mischkah Scott at this newly opened studio. In fact, I think I was the first to shoot there!

It's an excellent shooting space with lots of natural light possibilities, different rooms and aspects, furniture, trinkets etc etc. All in all a very good place to shoot.

Sean was very welcoming, and I've no doubt that I'll be shooting there again.
