The Factory is a great studio. This was my first time there and definitely not my last.

Peter was very helpful in supplying all the equipment I required and then he left me to it, with a contact number in case I had any problems. I didn't need to use that number as everything was to hand and everything worked.

The layout is good and imaginatively arranged so as to provide a good variety of backdrops.

Absolutely my favourite studio now.

Anyone with more than a passing interest in contemporary glamour photography will walk through the door of the Factory and instantly feel not only at home but in very familiar surroundings. This iconic location studio has featured widely in published imagery by players in the game from the transitory to the big names. The reassuring solidity of the late-Victorian industrial architecture brings both function and form and the sense of tradition and heritage is palpable in this former pet food factory, nestled between the Limehouse Cut canal and the former goods railway (now the Docklands Light Railway) in a highly fashionable part of London's East End. The conversion to live / work units in 1985 is said to be one of London's first warehouse conversions and the project was carried out to a very high quality.

The location is very convenient and accessible with proximity to DLR and bus services as well as being only 2 minutes from the A11/A12/A13 - parking is available on site.

The factory lends itself perfectly to its present function as a stylish spacious apartment by night and office and photostudio by day. The space is very versatlie and tastefully appointed as to be inoffensive and neutral whilst offering easy scope for quirky customisation. The interior is immaculate and Peter ensures that everything you will require will be at your fingertips - whether that be digital radio via a satellite receiver, played through some impressive KEF IQ7 floorstanders, a comfortable array of professional studio lights with all the requisite accessories, or just a nice hot cup of tea. The factory has it all.

There is plenty of scope for shooting with natural light in the spacious open-plan lounge / diner / kitchen which even boasts a large colourama. Artificial light options are also bountiful. I captured a very rewarding set of images, working through a Saturday evening with another photograhper, who had recommended the Factory to me. Being based in East London myself, I am delighted to have finally seen the place in the flesh and I look forward to many more shoots there. Cheers Peter, speak soon.

Few days ago I had my first shoot at 'The Factory' with photographer Anthony K and his snake !

The Factory is a stunning and fully equipped studio with lots of space and beautiful furnitures! The big windows also gives you the opportinity to make use of the natural light and the place is very tidy and clean !

My second shoot at the Factory, this time with Ali Brooks and Miss Pixie. As before, it was absolutely painless and dealing with Peter was a pleasure.

I can't believe it has been so long between shoots here; I will definitely be back and sooner this time. Great value for money, lots of scope and such a professional and friendly owner.

Today was my first time working in this studio and I'm sure it won't be the last! The owner Peter is lovely. It was definitely the perfect set for myself and Efe (Monsieur E)'s 50 shades of grey themed shoot with photographer Robert Malcolm. It is exactly as it appears in the images with some fantastic natural lighting! I spent the whole time wishing I lived there! Would recommend it to any photographers and models looking for a spacious studio! Hope to visit again very soon!

Peter is professional, the studio is always ready, lovely space to work with.

We received helped with he parking under peters direction which was much appreciated.

Anytime we need assistance peter readily responds, sorts it then leaves.

I love this place!

This was my first time at the studio and I know it will not be my last. This studio is exactly as it appears in the images. The natural light that flooded in to the main room was fantastic. In addition there are some great professional quality lights available to use.

This time around I only booked 2hrs, the next time it will be at least 4hr as it was such a pleasure and so relaxing being there the time flew by.

First time shooting at The Factory yesterday. The pics obviously look amazing and the studio doesn't disappoint. What a great location to shoot. Spent nearly a full day though, load of options to shoot, natural light by the windows in the lounge or the great bedroom and bathroom. Really pleased with the pictures and hoping to return, Recommended.

Wow, what an amazing place to shoot.

I used The Factory for a 1-2-1 workshop for regular and very valued client. The space could not have been better suited and Peter's professional, courteous, friendly and helpful approach ensured our visit went without a hitch and proved a huge hit with both ourselves and our client.

The space is a photographers dream. With oodles of natural daylight all day long from the two different aspect windows, we were spoilt for choice as to where to point our cameras next. The cleverly thought out bi-fold shutters allow for a near blackout environment if you don't fancy mixing your flash with daylight and the decor has been perfectly put together creating even more shooting opportunities. The space is also plenty large enough to allow for some longer lens work making for some lovely super soft backdrops.

The wet area is also a real bonus, again generous enough in size to get way back from your subject and light with strobes with no danger of splashing your gear! Both that and the bedroom area are beautifully decorated and accessorised to make the photographers life simples! The glass block wall between the bedroom and kitchen area is a joy to behold and we easily created some stunning backlit "arty" shots here, a real unexpected bonus for my client.

Would I recommend The Factory - in heartbeat! Peter is an all round nice guy and a pleasure to deal with . His property has been thoughtfully put together with the photographer in mind. My only regret? That it's not five minutes away from me :-)

The Factory is a superb location to shoot. The layout of the studio, the furnishings and the space are all excellent. Peter has created a truly stunning apartment and so many shooting possibilities it will be a while before you "shot it out".

Highly recommended and I will be back.

I had a great shoot at The Factory. Its a fab place to shoot with lots of possibilities, just need more time and plan to shoot again here.

Peter was very friendly and professional in operation, and made us feel welcome, leaving us to it while we shoot too much.

Works both as a flash studio and where the sun comes out, great natural light.

Shot at the Factory today. I had a really good time. Great studio with lot of natural light and beautiful rooms. Everything is clean and Peter really does everything to make you feel great. This was a good experience. Hope I will have the opportunity to come back very soon.
